    rendering with the spotlight. kept rendering adjusting the settings.

    the lid on shtein doesn't open.  project for another rainy day :D

    i did a render of utahraptor in the darlwald scene, for the pc forum challenge.  not sure is allowed to show til challenge is over

    and signed up for vimeo basic, for when i make an animation worth showing.  i heard can embed vimeo vids here laugh

    Thanks Dartan, yep, Vimeo is awesome, it is much better then YouTube (content wise, it is more artist friendly and oriented and not "polutted" with cat videos and such, lol) smiley

    maybe but it sure can be slow ( stop - start - stop -start ) if you watch some thing - for me any way

    playing with the native content all day.  i double click it to see what the scene magnitude is, group everything that needs grouping and save back to browser tab.

    aircraft, aircraft  scene magnitude - medium  -hull size.56x2.25x.22 ft
    ships, hovrcrft  scene mag - medium.  it loads a hdr file globalillumination, hdri-25_color W.hdr

    fun stuff.

    i lowered the horizon 1000ft, still shows.

    You will find that some models are better than others. I would swear that some of those models were included with RayDream Studio, the aircraft carrier certainly rings a bell.

    Went through my DAZ 3D Library to see what I have that I didn't know I had.... or forgotten about..

    Came up with this render using M4 and items I'd never used before... now I must go and feed the pigeons cool

    This is a WIP of something I've been messing around with on and off for a while.  I keep scrapping the whole thing and starting over, but I think I am on to something now, so I thought I'd post the WIP and see if anyone has any thoughts or suggestions.

    The troll is Predatron's LoRez Lowland Troll, everything else was made in Carrara.
