Thanks all for the positive comments. I thought about the option Horo explained and NGartplay found working. But I had made the same mistake that Electro-Elvis did. Next time, I will use the correctmethod.

Electro-Elvis, Wonderful sky in your winter picture.

adbc, Now that is very cute!

I now added the pictures to my previous messages with the method Horo explained. See previous page.

Hansmar - good to see your artwork back here, and you did everything right - size 800 on the page and full size when clicked on the image.

    Thanks Horo.

Two more renders, using animals and people from DAZ 3D. One uses the public shower (which I used before with a dynosaurier and figher) and a Genesis pin-u[ and panther and one with a Bryce landscape and Bryce trees as well as a set of kids, two panthers and a bird from the Songbird collection. Also added ground cover from the Smoke and Mirrors Master series. Special Bryce tree and ground cover instanced multiple times. The terrain is from the terrains under fantastic skies by Horo and David Brinnen.

The first one is called: "Can't a girl get into a public shower without getting ogled by a predator?"

The second one is called: Kids' pets.

Hansmar, the first one's title cracked me up.  Like the leopard pose and the lighting.  Nicely done.

The Kid's Pets leopard on the right looks like the JMCs went a bit wonky but the image is fun.  Just hope those leopards aren't too hungry.

Hansmar - two very nicely done renders, both have very fitting titles.

adbc - two really great scenes with vegetation islands in the water. The first looks realistic and the second seems to be in an alien world, or here in the far past.

... testing to upload an image ...

The objects Geometric 1, 2 and 3 are from the installed Bryce objects library and given materials from 50 Metals The Treppenhalle Set. In the centre of the left and right object each is a radial light. The objects stand on a Fading Disk. Light and background by an HDRI.

Adbc - wow another beautiful render love the colors, lighting and setup.

Horo - an outstanding render, the lighting and color awesome.

Experimenting with preset skies, I have libraries full of goodies, but don’t use most of them. I liked the setting of this old file, and tried the different preset skies from the installed section. I like this one Daytime/Morning Sky

Let see if this works now.

mermaid - thank you. I found your image in the gallery but here the link (https://gcdn.daz3d.com/gallery/image/1269149/1673378100/main.jpg) does not work and there is only a white frame.

NGartplay, Horo, Mermaid, adbc, thanks; I though long and hard about the titles, of course.

NGartplay, with the risk of looking as dumb as I probably am, but what do you mean with 'JMCs'? Joint movement criteria or something. This pose came with the panthers, but was changed a little bit when I moved the panther in DAZ Studio. I think it is realistic (though weird in this context).

adbc, I agree with the others: marvelous renders. I specifically like the lighting, how the orange plays in the water; very well done.

Horo, so uploading worked? Nice render of these objects.

Mermaid, Found your image too, very nice work!

They added searching in the forums some time ago (at least I noticed it a few weeks ago). Hope the will add searching in the galleries too!

Thanks Horo and Hansmar, not sure what happened there. I fixed it hope it stays. I don't think Upload is working, at least not for me.

  • HoroHoro Posts: 10,646

Hansmar - thank you. No, upload has not worked for me for days since the end of last year. I host the image (hopefully only temporarily) on my website.

mermaid - yes, it's there. The link is different, I guess there was a hiccup when copying the link.
Very nice image, I like the mood and the haze over the water.

Horo, mermaid, Hansmar : thank you.

Horo : Beautiful coloured objects, great sky and lighting.

mermaid : very nice work, love the soft blue haze effect.

adbc, wow, wonderful colors and the trees are excellent too.  I love how the trees look in the first one but the second one's landscape draws me in.

Horo, always perfect lighting and making objects and shapes look interesting.  Well done.

mermaid, gorgeous landscape.  The mood is lovely in this.

Hansmar, I was wrong about what I said.  I couldn't see at first that the leopard on the right has its paw on the girl figure.  JCMs are joint corrective morphs and that was incorrect too.  I was thinking of a word that I can't remember..kinetics or something like that for legs and feet.  They can be turned on and off or at least in old versions of DS.  Sorry dear.

    NGartplay : thank you.

Hansmar: Fun scenes! Those are quite big kitties, too big to feel comfortable with. ;)

adbc: Two nicely done landscapes. Beautiful lighting! My favorite is the darker (more moody) one.

Horo: Nicely presented. Great mats and lighting!

Mermaid: A very calm, moody scenery. Wonderful softness and atmosphere.

    Thank you hubert.

The terrain was made in the TE with the fractal Mordor 4 tiles 2048 and 16 tiles 1024 combined to a single 4096 terrain. Haematite is the material used (free at bryce5.com, Material X-Change (.MAT), page 3). Light (rather specular) and colour by the Gasclouds_B03_SC and a bit of sun.

    Dream World

Same terrain and settings, except the HDRI is Gossamer2.

    Snow and Gold

    And here the anaglyph.

Horo, what a unique landscape.  I love both of them.  The saturation on the first is so pretty and the second is so alien looking that it makes you want to know of a story.  And I pulled out my 3D glasses.  The pinnacle and bottom left pop out at me.  Looks like you could have had something walking behind them in the valley.  great effect.
