Wow that's beautiful NGartplay
Horo: Your "Bucky spheres" image is fascinating. A very cool set up!
NGartplay: Just beautiful,*dreamlike*! .... and nope, I am not biased on Shiny Spheres images! ;)
@ all: A Happy New Year to all of you! :)
NGartplay - looks truly great.
hubert - thank you. A happy one to you too.
NGartplay : this is indeed a beautiful dreamy picture.
hubert : thank you.
Happy New Year to everyone !
Aw, thanks everyone! The image happened by accident. Now, if I could just make them happen on purpose, lol.
Hubert, I hear you :D I'm changing the title of the song Tiny Bubbles to Shiny Bubbles.
Lyrics: Shiny bubbles, in the sea, make me happy, we can all agree.....
I created a couple of abstracts. Pure Bryce, with a reflecting plane and either cones or cubes inside a Nurbs cube. The first two are the same scene, but perspective and 360 degrees panorama views. Here I used the Glowing Techno Script texture on the Nurbs cube. There is a fill light with a blue to red gradient light and there are two negative lights. The third one is based on the same scene, but the cones are made into cubes, the texture of the Nurbs cube is changed (a buildings texture) and the fill light is now a yellow to purple gradient.
Now I just have to try over and over again, until the forum wants to upload the picture....
So frustrating Hansmar :(
Edit: Just tried uploading this image and it works fine now.
Hansmar - yes, the forum gets wonky. I started uploading the pictures first, and when it worked, add the text. Looking forward to see your three new artworks.
NGartplay - could have been an entry for the challenge.
NGartplay : very beautiful image, I agree with Horo about the challenge.
Uploading still not working !
Very frustrating indeed. Still does not work for me.
Very nice picture, NGartplay!
:( I posted mine late at night central time USA.
Thank you all for the nice comments. That image is very old so it's not eligible for the contest.
I just uploaded it to see if it would work.
NGartplay lovely image, fits the theme for the challenge.
Thank you Mermaid
Uploading in the forum still does not work, but it works in the Gallery; weird.
See the abstracts here: https://www.daz3d.com/gallery/user/6577818880180224?edit=albums#image=1267817 (new matrix panoram), here: https://www.daz3d.com/gallery/user/6577818880180224?edit=albums#gallery=album6046&page=1&image=1267820 (new matrix perspective) and here: https://www.daz3d.com/gallery/user/6577818880180224#gallery=album6046&page=1&image=1267823 (Escher).
And I made a modification of my earlier render of a warrior meeting a saurus, this time in a cave. And the next one is a pair of colourful robots (that I found on Free3D) which I textured colourfully in Bryce.
First one: https://www.daz3d.com/gallery/user/6577818880180224?edit=albums#gallery=album6038916&page=1&image=1267825
Second one: https://www.daz3d.com/gallery/user/6577818880180224#gallery=album6038916&page=1&image=1267828
Go see them in the galleries, because uploading in the forum was no success again.
I looked and commented on all Hansmar. Great looking abstracts and fun subject images.
Hansmar very nice images, it's a pity uploads are not working.
I created a picture with a mountain from Horo and Davids set "Grand Mountains". The volumetric clouds are from a Brycer called Meski, which made a tutorial I ran into accidentelly years a ago. I was looking for it lately in the internet, but could not find it anymore I'm afraid.
As uploading still does not work I uploaded the image like Hansmar in the main gallery. I think one advantage of it is, that you see, there are still quite a few Bryce enthusiast around.
Happy New Year to everyone!
Hansmar and Electro-Elvis - very nice renders. Even if upload does not work, you can use the link to the gallery, edit the forum entry and add the link by clicking on the picture thumbnail. Than the picture is displayed with the comment. This should work.
posted through imgur : the cat is from Mesky, added a few vines, spheres and a Bryce terrain.
Hansmar : 5 fantastic renders, love the way you made those abstracts, very well done modifications of previous images.
Electro-Elvis : awesome winter landscape.
adbc - cute cat in a very nice winter landscape.
Horo, thank you for your advice. I'm afraid I am not sure, if I understood you correctly. I tried to use the Image Control. I could enter the URL with the link to the gallery, but as there was no picture, the image was not displayed in my comment here.
NGartplay: A beautiful surreal "timescape"! (Wereas I might be slightly biased on Shiny Sphere™ scenes.)
Hansmar : Three fantastic abstract images! The first two beat any Matrix movie. Your golden "Escher" image has wonderful depth and nested reflections.
Electro-Elvis: Your "Night Clouds Over the Mountains" is majestic and very moody.
adbc: Here kitty, kitty...! A lovely card! Nice composition, wonderful lighting and mats!
Electro-Elvis beautiful winter scene
Adbc very cute kitty in an awesome winter scene
Electro-Elvis - strange, maybe yet another problem of the forum. The last image with the cat by adbc was posted through another web place: imgur as she commented. I have checked the source file of this thread (and her entry) and I can see the link to the source image.
Horo, hubert, mermaid : thank you.
Electro-Elvis picture. Horo's instructions work. I right clicked on your image and chose 'save image link'. I then came here and clicked on the image icon in the task bar (next to the flag on the top line). I pasted the copied image link in the URL area, changed the size to 800 width, clicked on the Link tab, pasted the image link again then chose 'open in new window.' Hope that helps.
adbc, that's adorable...meowwww.
Horo, adbc, hubert, mermaid010 Thank you!
NGartplay: Thank you very much for your trial and clarification. I tried it the way you described it, and it worked (as you can see in my post).
Yesterday I copied the link directly out from the address bar and inserted it in the URL field of the image. This approach did not work obviously.
NGartplay : thank you.
