Something old, something new, something borrowed (my time heh) & something blue, hence the title (among other reasons ahem).

The body is Gen1 body hair (an earlier incarnation than the final Unshaven1 release), and the facial hair is Unshaven2. Based on response I'm sure Cath will consider updating the body hair as well down the road. We'll just have to see what the wind blows our way ;-)

    MEC4D,
    Thank you for all your hard work on this. I just have a quick question. I noticed that on all the examples of the full beard, the upper lip is a bit sparse, which makes the figure look younger. Is it possible to thicken up the hair above the lips to fill them out more to make them look more manly? (see examples below);

This was the case with the previous beard, as well. But you can dial a bit of the mustache in and I think it should fix itself. I normally used walrus on the last beard but I think there is a new name.

Tomorrow. Tomorrow. I'm buying this tomorrow. Tomorrow is just a day away.

Actually, DAZ time is an hour earlier for me, so this should be going in my cart in about 10 hours, give or take a few minutes. :cheese:

Thank you, Cath, for all your hard work on Unshaven 2. And all the great info shared, help offered and images posted to make us all drool over in the Iray threads. :-)

For that you need to set a little value up of a mustache , the styles can be mixed so you get the look you want
the 45 styles are base styles to work with
the tools allow you to make the hair thicker or fine of your needs

Also want to add that Genesis male have so small distance between nose and the lips not usual for men to have so ..that why it looks like young man... so dial the copstache up lol

sometimes it is not that I cant do it, I am limited plus I had to think about memory for Iray , also make sure that you don't dial all morphs up or it will take 1gb of your virtual memory ..

Here is Cory all dressed up because he is richer than all his haters. I used Boris hair and the new unshaven 2 and they seem to go together well. My Iray knowledge is just a few test renders and I had trouble with lighting and also getting the color to work for the unshaven Iray materials ( I think I ended up selecting a 3delight material even though I rendered with Iray. I darkened the eyebrows in Photoshop. I am getting tired and going to bed now but I'll play with all these new toys and check back if I need help... maybe even read some documentation or some of these threads to get better. Great product will be very useful.

Nice one, thanks for sharing !!!
the best is to apply the included shaders to all hair , matching with picture eyebrows will take some time as you need to edit more than just base color .. anyway looking forward to see more

Lighting and material test for something that may be part of cover art %-P

In earlier efforts the colors of the beard and hair didn't match and now they do.

I would snap up the Dorian-looking dude from the promos if he were a character product. I know he's probably Michael 6 or someone with some special tweaks and texture enhancements etc, but dayum you've made him look good! Whatever you've done to make him come out that well is definitely worth an investment.

    Will be purchasing today.
    Fast question.
Not a fan of Iray, will be rendering in either 3d delight or keyshot ( not your problem)
Is this product made specificly for iray, also do you have any suggestion for settings for normal renders.
Thank you, have quite a few of your products, excellent quality all.

That why I made him like that , I mixed head of M6 with other too like expressions etc.. and used my old textures from Hunk mega pack for M4 that I use in all my male renders as they are still good enough and better than the standard

The product is not different than Unshaven 1 it is actually better to use in both 3Delight and Iray thanks to the tools included
If there was not Iray it will be released the same way .. plus if you render with Uber environment you can use the Iray shaders .. and if you use any light in 3Delight make sure it have deep-shadow maps

so no it is not specific to any program will render in any program you render it in on genesis 2 males

he looks handsome with this soft beard , usually the beard is slightly different in color than the hair beside the hair is black, my brother is blonde and his beard is redish brown , my ex hair was middle blonde and his beard was dark brown mostly only eyebrows match exactly the scalp hair

It is very impressive indeed. The first time I saw it I honestly thought you'd just posted a real photo of a male model. I shall be anxiously awaiting your future textures and character product releases.

Your products for the males and Thorne's for the females and I'm in heaven! :)
