First Bastion and me were on another Daz topic talking about the 'dark side' of art. He felt there should be more products and renders that emphasized the "positive" side of art.

I have to agree with First Bastion. I think it's important for artists and other creatives to put out more positive stuff. Quantum experimentation and other scientific experiments are beginning to show that our world is greatly influenced by human consciousness. The world is dark enough, I think it's important to try and bring more light into the world. :)

Of course, it's your choice what you choose to create and what you decide to put out into the world. And no one wants anyone's creative freedom and expression squashed. I just think it would be great to see more people put out positive art, comics, and other media that lifts people up. :)

This is the same philosophical question that has been asked for thousands of years. Does you art promote only the good while ignoring the inherent nature of man? Do you want to ignore Henry Thoreau's "Men live out their lives in quiet desperation."? I do not want to go into this with you. It's not the time or place. I understand completely where you're coming from. Been there, done that. DAZ has a handful of great "dark" artist P.A.s. I enjoyed promoting their art. I hope it results in some extra sales for them. In any case, I'll continue to build my DAZ Library and won't be posting on this thread anymore. Sorry if I disturbed you.

hahah Don't be silly. I never said you disturbed me. :) All I said is that it would be good to see people creating more positive art. That wasn't an attack on you or your art and it wasn't an indication that you aren't welcome to post whatever type of art you enjoy making. I thought that was clear with my post, but if I wasn't as clear about that as I thought I was, I'm sorry - I should have been more clear. I hope you forgive me for making you feel like your art isn't welcome, that wasn't AT ALL my intention.

Please keep posting your art Pascal.  You make great covers. And we certainly enjoy seeing them. The human condition is a complicated multi faceted reality. Every artist has the right to choose what inspires them to create.

After all the Princess Sora covers you have posted there's a feeling we know the character a bit. It would be cool to have a story to read about her.
