An experiment using different skies based on David’s tutorial “Putting a photo sky to improve lighting”, unfortunately I couldn’t get shadows in both examples and the Shadow capture techique did not work, but it was fun to play with this. The skies and ruins are freebies (maybe from Daz a lot time ago). The ruins and the camera position are the same in both the renders.

The missing shadows aren't that noticable in the second image but I really like the POV and colors of the first one.  Both skies are gorgeous.
