Trish - second chess set is also very nice. I like your last entry, it's beautiful and unconventional. What I've been up to? Mischief of one sort or another, mostly, I guess.

Trish - I like the chess sets. specially the reflections on the second one... And the colors and design of the 3rd one is quite nice.

S Ray.. Both great renders..... The depth of the Time Portal and the closeness of the Eagle are really well represented.

    This is my 3rd entry.

    Feeling close to nature.

Thanks to David’s experiments with hypertextures, (http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/53147/show-us-your-bryce-renders-part-9/p48) I got the idea for my second entry. The Hdri is Horo’s Coloured3c.

S Ray - very nice Time Portal. Eagle is a great idea with FOV.

Vivien - lovely idea, well one.

Mermaid - Mirrored Distance is a neat idea, very nice result.

vos - good idea with all those screens and the robot. Great sci-fi look, too.

StuartB - how right! Excellent idea and nice looking result.

mermaid010   : mirrored distance, very nice, vibrant colours.

vos                 : I like the idea and the realisation of it, well done.

StuartB           : Very real, great render.

  • Thanks for the nice comments.

@ Trish: all three entries are great render with beautiful colors.

@ S Ray: Both very nice pictures, but Time portal has more Fastination on me. It's so beautiful mystical.

@ Vivien: Great idea and very nice implementation.

@ Mermaid: Mirrored Distance is a great composition. Like it a lot.

@ VOS: Beautiful sci-fi work. Could I well imagine it as your desktop wallpaper.

@ StuartB: fantastic idea, great job.

@Fishtales: I think they come from far too (in your last render)!

@Xangth: Great sci-fi scene. Very powerful colours.

@adbc: yes, that desert city scene definitely show a lot of distance! And great to also see another abstract entry.

@Dave Savage: The powerlines work very well. I think I would have used a little less haze to show even more distance.

@drachenlords: Wow, quite a walk for the poor guy. I like the way you show the distant hills.

@Trish: great chess renders. Wonderful reflections in the second one, but somehow, I still prefer the first. And your third is very good, irrespective of whether the distance is really obvious. Though, I think I see it in the reflections.

@S Ray: I wonder in what time we come through your portal. Portal looks wonderful. And the eagle looks quite dangerous from this angle!

@vivien: somehow I think the girl that is close to nature is mourning someone? I really like the low POV.

@mermaid010: What a wonderful abstract. I really like the colours.

@vos: Great idea and very beautiful render.

@StuartB: Very good posing and nice idea with the silhouettes. Well done!

Still trying to cook something up for my second entry, but it is slow work……

What is distance? The time between the last and this appearance of Atlantis in these forums could be an answer. Your entry is a great idea and very nicely done.

@Atlantis: Wonderful work; this is similar to one of the things I was brooding on (but never did make)

@Chohole: Well, at least the dog had a nice work-out! Good work.

When I have finally corrected all the errors in my work, I hope to upload something in time!

@StuartB: next shot: the runner in the distance and the husband close up? Very nice scene!

@Gezmo: wonderful effect! would also fit a theme of 'speed' very well!
