Microsoft used to have Frontpage which had options of doing your own coding tab or just make your page and then look at the tab for coding. I still have that old frontpage program because I have no idea about coding, but it is cool to see both. :)

  • Tamesh - Randomizer character for G8F - I used the Mutations for Genesis 3 Females for the scaling and metallic hue as well as the eyes.

The Legend armour & sword by Aeon Soul - the detail on this is just fantastic

    Pine Beach HDRI

Can I just reiterate how much I love Sim Tenero's Randomize?  I may build a second skin for her in the G3F Skinbuilder since the skin will work on her.

And yes, I know her feet aren't right, this was just a quick test to see how she looked.  I'm keeping this one, I like her.  I will do a standing pose tomorrow, she is much bulkier than she looks, definitely some orc in there.

Click for a full size to see the details of the scales.

Such a great character!  I like this darker skin better than the lighter skin you have in the next image.  I think this one has more depth to it.  I love those MRL Mutations.  It's one of those things on my wishlist and I want it every time I see an image like this one.  :)

I took a look at your website.  It looks great.  One suggestion I have is is to put your own place holder image in the images slots that aren't your own.  Something that says Coming Soon or Future Artwork would work.  That way you still have to place holders set up, but you don't have other images that don't reflect your art on your page.

It looks good.  A little bio for each of your characters would be nice, too.  Makes me want to publish my website!  I'm still in the fiddling and adding stages, though.  Your site looks very aesthetically pleasing.  :)

@wgdjohn, I wouldn't even know where to begin in coding my own website and honestly, its not something I really want to tackle at the moment.  I'm going to have to stick with the premade ones for now.lol

Beginning is rather easy...  buy a few good books to get started then other books later which usually have CDs with example code which you can insert and change to what you want. :)

I started coding my website by hand some twenty years ago and one of the sites I used was the W3Schools site, amongst many others :) Here is one I came across just while searching for this reply.

  • Thanks KM!

Thanks for the links and encouragement wgdjohn and Fishtales.  I will take a look when I get a chance.

  • +1 on keeping the darker skin.

Congrats on teh website, it's looking great so far!

  • Thanks!  on both counts lol.  I totally agree with the darker skin as well. I've saved them both as a character preset.  I thought the paler skin might work if she gets seriously injured or sick.

good point, that blue effect and the scales really look cool.

I would look at the lighter skin as a challenge to get it to show lighter in the dark areas and visible all over.  Ohh.... can you also control the scale size too. Looks good as is on the darker version simply because it covers most or all of the character.

This is @DarwinsMishap 's Ren.  I'm still not a 100% happy with this but its late and I'm done for now lol. The base render then the photoshopped one. I need to work on his eyes just a tiny bit more...

I played around a bit in photoshop and lightroom (if you haven't tried Lightroom, and have it, I highly recommend it).  And for some reason this is very dark here, its much brighter and colorful elsewhere.  Weird, its usually pretty spot on here. This one is the original and is the exact same one except that I loaded it on Deviant Art then copied it to here.  No idea why all of a sudden its not showing true to color.

  • That's very nice, Sonja!  That background and colors really set the mood.  They don't look very happy, do they?  :)

  • I actaully like the effect in the second one a great deal- adds quite a bit of dynamics to it.  Well done!

Ya the second one is the original the first is the exact same one but loaded directly to here. Weird

    And thank you very much!

Well I have been gone all weekend but I finally had a chance to sit down and work on something.  I have a folder called things to work on.  It has renders that I liked, but just weren't quite to where I wanted them so I tucked them in there to maybe have another go at some point.  This is one of those renders.  I didn't redo the render itself, I took it into photosho, camera raw and lightwave.

The first one is the original. The second and third are two different versions of finished. I think I like the third on the best myself.

Oooh I like the third one quite a lot!

Fantastic look.  I like the third best as well.  I think even the third one could use just a little more blur/brush close to the mouth, but that is my taste.  Maybe we can see this as your banner?  Well done.

Thank you very much!  I will have to work on adding it as a banner tomorrow as I am heading to bed shortly, have to work tomorrow.
