I should actually be hitting the point where I am going to have to start another thread. At that point I will reserve a couple extra posts to link to stuff like that so its all in one place and easy to find.
Glad you are finding them helpful!
Well, I started out not being all that fond of doing the more modern images. However, I have to say that they are kind of growing on me lol. Its been fun doing stuff that is far outside my comfort zone and I've learned a lot from it. No chance of it replacing my true love but I admit to at least having fun with the more modern renders.
Well… She looks really good.
That's pretty amazing! Must be a trick to freckles on skin like that. : )
Just wanted to thank you for reply about Bryce. That's four of them to learn now!
Will soon be a drooling idiot... O_o
Anyway just wanted to thank you for heads up about it beign on sale for MM?
best
--Bruce
PS:
@ Diomede
Thanks for link to tutorial. Bookmarked!
@Tynkere, any freckles I have on the models come with the skin lol
As far as Bryce goes I don't know if its on sale right now or not but I would watch for it. Don't buy it at full price, at some point it will be really reasonable. I can't see it if its for sale because I already have it and have my settings set so I can't see stuff in the store I already have.
Thank you!
Ooh, I really like this one. It's hard to tell that the hair is mesh - it looks really good. Love the icy makeup - some V4 textures are the best! Great pose and expression - this is an all around great render.
This one is really cool too. Got the red eyes in the subtle red lighting. Plus her expression is total 'tude.
Great one.
@Dracorn thank you! I think V4 has a ton of stunning textures and make up and I have no intention of giving those up lol.
Biscuits hair is always a good buy, lots and lots of morphs and color choices.
And, lets face it Maddelirium makes stunning fantasy characters, its hard to not have them look good. I struggle a bit with darker scenes, nights scenes, its a fine line between moody or night and too darn dark to see anything well lol.
I think I'm finally caught up on your thread! This is my favorite though all of them are really good. I love what you did with this one. :)
Thank you! Its actually one of my favorites as well.
Wow that modern render looks like an ad out of a glossy magazine!
Nice, those glasses are fantastic!
Thank you! That's what I was going for so I'm glad it worked!
Pretty sure those are from the go go outfit, I think that's all I used for this so earrings, glasses, dress, are all from that. I was very impressed with the glasses myself.
Sonya,
I was looking at your old stuff. I really like this one from like page 18 and it's dramatic lighting. It really works. And the right level of ambient light makes you curious to see more detail, but hides enough that it doesn't detract from the main focus. I look foreward to making it through looking at more of your backpages.
^__^
Thank you! And thank you for taking the time to wade through everything lol! I should actually go back and have a good look at the beginnings myself as this thread is close to coming to an end. Apparently, I talk a lot lol
This is a fun set of building blocks by Mortem Vetus. I think the possibilities with this and the other add ons are probably endless. This doesn't show even half of the different stairs and building blocks that come with this. Lots of fun to put some weird stuff together too lol.
I used Magix101 Iray Worlds Desertlands Pak for Worldbase for the background and trees.
Hey :)
Looks like you only have 10 more pages to go. hehe Nice renders. I got slightly sidetracked by a foot of snow here lately again. Grrr... I got to thinking about it and realized i had not been getting notifications, so I had to come look. :)
The Hunchback by Mortem Vetus. I wanted to show him more as a person than a monster. Best viewed full screen
He turned out really nice and obviously very sad.
Thank you! I'm working on conveying emotion more with body language. Always something new to figure out lol.
You did a great job with conveying emotion, the body language is spot on, nice work!
Thank you! @deathbycannon and @Liana
Bow for Hire
Character is Jo for G3F and G8F.
Love the render! She looks like she just got caught in the act of doing something that she's trying to hide.
Trish
Thanks! Its that "who, me?" look lol!
Nice renders you've going on here, Sonja. XD Love the pose with the hunchback, well done. The last one definitely states, to me, that she did NOT do what you thought she was doing.
Hey Sonja! I, too, like the emotion conveyed in the hunchback render. I also like the weathering you added to Bow for Hire.
Thank you DarwinsMishaps and Dracorn!
I do love fairies...
