So pretty mermaid!!!  That HDRI set makes beautiful colors in the scene.

Thanks Horo, I'm not sure about the refraction, it's the bubble material Pam shared, I'll check and let you know.

    Thanks NGartplay

Mermaid, that's very beautiful. And good insight, Horo!

Thanks mermaid, I made the material and saved it.  I couldn't get it right until I changed the specular halo to a slightly grey color (I had changed it to white.)

Thanks for verifying, mermaid. Refraction for transparency is quite useful. The value is 100-fold of nature: water 1.34 in Bryce 134, glass 1.53 in Bryce 153, etc. Values below 100 (< 1) are not natural but give very interesting effects, 0 is good for lenses.

Thanks Horo for the additional info.

NGartplay the RGB for Specular is 252, Specular Halo 204, the rest are full while.

I also hope Apoc will return. It would mean there is room in his life, which would be good.

NGartplay. Looks like shiny planets in a weird wet universe.

    Mermaid, Love it!

A very different version from my entry, just for fun. Same set up, but different texture for the cone around the spheres and very different lights.

    nice brushed metal effect

Byunyip02, some great entries. I specifically like the eyes very much.

Fetbemme, Welcome (or welcome back?) to the forum. Very nice work with these planetcity-like objects. And thanks for the comment.

Two more shiny sphere renders from me. Just because I like this challenge. In the first one, there is a ramp with a partly transparent and partly reflective material, a lighthouse and a lightbeam effect (from David B). The second one has the same spheres, but with all the same texture now and a very different light set up.

Hansmar - two cool additions. The challenge begins to become interesting.
