Hi all – it's always such a pleasure to see what everyone is doing with Bryce.

Here's two entries. The first is Just a big volumetric texture sphere with a mirror ball inside. Illuminated by a "fake" HDRI created in Photoshop.

This second one is an alpha transparency sphere surrounding a spherical object created in Moto. Also illuminated by a fake HDI

    Thanks for taking a look.

    looks great

it gives a realistic wearing off effect

and the walnut-ish sphere as well

(I never tried volumetrics in Bryce - my PC is not the fastest)

My first: a couple of necessities for life: blood and caffeine A complete rush job, so after the contest, I'm going to revisit it and, hopefully, improve it. I realized I posted under my old account again...If I post under my real account, can I win 2 prizes? LOL

I'm just going to drop everyone's name into the hat and have my neighbor pick two names.  I was trying to use a deck of cards for the winners but it was confusing.  I'm about to leave the house so it will be later that we'll pull names.

I'm counting 10 people who participated.  Can someone else count to make sure that I didn't miss anyone?  I'll check back here before we pull.  Thanks!
