Here's a couple of basic renders, with Daz 4.23 default settings (using Michael 8.1 skin). I used the included brows in all cases.

When did Rhiannon become a DAZ PA?

I'm sure I would have noticed had there been an announcement along the lines of the other Rendo PA's. Instead, it seems to have been kept vey low key. Anyway, I was pleased to see that one of my Rendo G8F wishlist items - Crux Obsession - came for sale here yesterday at less than a Rendo sale price, so how could I resist? Very pleased because my preferred character seems to work well with skinny trousers and low heel boots. The top won't work well - my character doesn't have a very big chest and most tops that fit more endowed characters don't fit her well, so baggy dForce tops tend to look better on her due to most tops bulging quite a bit beyond her modest chest profile along her sternum and needing for dForce to drape the bulge better - nothing unusual in that.

    Regards,

    Richard

It was a few weeks ago, some Welcome Wednesday. Riahnnon and several more: Valery3D, Antje, Adarling97, Sisters in chaos and Heatherlly

  • Must have missed that. I noticed Antje, Valery3d and the others, but not Rhiannon. I wonder how? Must be getting blind in my old age.

    Regards,

    Richard

The way the items were ordered probably didn´t help. Items were added to store in bulk, and seems it was one artist at a time. They should had try to mix them a little bit because Rhiannon items were sinked in page 3 or 4 i think.

Rhiannon has been a PA here for years, but if you're talking about transfering part of the Rendo store, that was a few weeks ago.

  • I was meaning that, and missed it. Noodle that I am. Regards, Richard.

A new Lyoness outfit definitely means a new render.

"Skirts are for girls? No, honey, clothes are for people."

An attractive man with shoulder-length hair and great legs poses for the camera, showing off his outfit of a t-shirt, vest and skirt, combined with a fashionable handbag and motorcycle boots. The t-shirt, vest and skirt are in the bold pink, purple and blue of the bi Pride flag.

Ned hair looks quite odd from the back, like there's supposed to be a pony or a bun there?

it could be tucked under but yes unusual, not impossible

Sure it is Wendy.  I saw that and thought, as a hairdresser that I am, that's really weird looking.  Nothing to denote a proper tie back.  No band or bun or even a frigging bow.  Just a totally weird, invisible, cut off, tie back.  I've noticed that their hair styles that have been released the last couple of days have been careless, no style to speak of, no options for movement either.  A totaly no-go on all of them for me.

I buy pretty much any reasonable hair styles for males that get offered, for the simple reason that for my story WIP, I need a broad assortment of hair styles for different ages and places, and there's a comparative lack of ordinary hair styles for men. I bought many of the new hair items that were offered the last couple of days and frankly, for the <$4 that they cost after discounts/tokens, I was generally happy with them. Yes, definitely, they are no-frills products, lacking morphs and shapes, and sure, it would be great to have some length and shape variations. That limits what I would pay for them. But at the price I paid, I'm satisfied and not returning any. I would buy more if more are offered for a similar price in upcoming days.

Much the same. Hairstyles for men that aren't - I've no idea what the style is called, but a bit like something Morrisery would sport - any hair not like that is a near instant buy for me. They're obviously quick jobs and that was reflected in the prices, but they also look good enough in most renders. And for shorter styles, there's less need to have a ton of movement and styling morphs. Honestly, I barely use those anyway - it's easier to put a dForce template on, and my preference is for bones if anything.

We really need more styles for men. These were very welcome for me.

Yes, thank you, I appreciate this, and the continued support for FilaToon!

the two hairs I'd like to see the most now in FilaToon style are a short, modern, male haurcut; as well as a long, "viking/barbarian" style hair that looks good on men. Something like these:

Provided there is demand, this is a project I would love to continue with. I have a few more hair projects in mind, hopefully this is something I can continue with.

https://www.daz3d.com/fsl-realistic-liquid-shaders-and-props looks like a really comprehensive and versatile set. I don't think I've seen so many different liquid shaders and props as one product.

I've got my eye on that too! It looks like a very versatile collection, and Fuseling's shaders are always good and imaginative anyway.

Not sure I have much use for the Ghost Bride Outfit but it looks lovely, and I appreciate the continued G8 support.

Liam is one hawt mofo blush and his tattoos actually look like tattoos and not body paint.

Ghost Bride went right into my cart. I saw so many uses for all of those items of clothing besides liking this Ghostly one.

But I totally missed Liam, so thank you for mentioning him. I really loved the way he was presented. In so many different outfits. Reminding us/me that he could be so many different characters.

Today seems to be a day for some well-made and original new releases.

I agree with others that Ghost Bride is stunning: so many pieces, morphs, presets, and three textures. I really wish I had something I could use the outfit for to justify getting it. Same goes for Esid's and FenixPhoenix's special makeups for dogs and cats, and Nathy Design's companion Mortis Dog Shapes. Such great looking products (and again, I wish I had use for them). And Magic Brush's Sancho is interesting too, even if stylized (Liam looks like a great product too, but there are things I dislike about him, so he's not for me). I'm also glad that Predatron keeps expanding on Barnabus with an outfit that brings the best stories to mind. And Matari3D doesn't disappoint either. Bloody Skins alone looks like a great product, especially for horror fans, but the whole Bad Santa Bundle is something fun and original, and makes me wish I was more into horror renders and themes. And although I'm not much into poses, I do have to say that most look interesting and useful.

Hmm... I must have listed at least half of today's products... As I said, a day for some original new releases, at least from my perspective.

I wishlisted the Barnabus one and with the clone shape I created for G8M (both ways) am curious how well it will adapt

(my shape still needs some work as toes on shoes a bit wonky but I can solve that using his clothing templates instead he usefully  provided fitting those by shaping  to G8 or G9, the method I use for Vyusur's Catoon and G8M,F and G9)

too many things I need to spend my money on outside of DAZ sadly and likely will remain so until next year, they missed their window last month to get me in with their marketting choices
