do we need screen shots or pictures of the male with female clothing on??
also can the male have fairy like substances or any other substance but not making it a full female?
I'm not sure I fully understand the question, but I'll try to answer. No screenshots. Entries are actual renders featuring males. Female clothing is for the Re-Purposed category. Not all images need a Re-Purposed item. If you wish to do a render for the main category, you don't need to do a Re-Purposed item. Every image is just for Best image or placement in the main category. The Re-Purposed category is extra for those who wish to see what they can do to Re-Purpose some of the female outfits.
As to fairies, there are male fairies and as long as there are no female morphs, I don't see a problem with that. If you are asking if the males can have wings or something similar intended for the females, then, yes, that qualifies and would also fall into the Re-Purposed category.
I'm not sure if I've completely answered your questions, though.
My first entry - Firelight
Re-purposed Items - Corset Hat and Leg Lamp - as Bottle stopper and Swizzle sticks (I never thought I'd ever find a use for them :-))
@3Ddreamer Your image is a little blurry. I think you might have accidentally copied the image address of your thumbnail instead of the full size image. Can you check that? Love the corset hat and swizzle sticks btw! :)
I think I've got it fixed now, just wouldn't seem to work and took me a couple of tries.
Looks much better! :)
Removed entry.
Rough approximation of an old Maori warrior of New Zealand, early 1800's.
Repurpose entry. The gentleman's apron is one of the G2 maid dress apron. The cloak is from one of the Daz G3 female medieval cloak sets, and the dog fur collar is a repurposed item from the Norse clothing/character set.
Edit from original post. Added more interesting background with some depth of field.
Took Michael6, moved a few sliders to morph his features. The clothes are Swashbuckler Outfit for Genesis2F and items from Courageous Warrior
Nantan
Here is entry #2

Contest update. We've had a special donation added to the prize pool to try and entice some of you Carrara users.
Special Prize Incentive for Carrara Entries
$10 GC from Wgdjohn will be added to the prizes of a winning placement in either category if that image was also setup and rendered in Carrara. If there is more than one Carrara image in the winnings slots, the prize will go to the top ranking Carrara entry.
Basically, if one of the winning images was also setup and rendered in Carrara, the top winning image which was also done in Carrara will get an additional prize. So, you Carrara users, please include your that you used Carrara somewhere in your entry post and also include a screenshot of your entry in Carrara. If you used Carrara in an entry already posted, go back and open your scene file and get that screenshot and edit your post to include the screenshot.
A big thank you to Wgdjohn for the prize donation.
Well there is an incentive for me to try Carrara a bit more earnestly than my previous tries..
Good luck to all who want to give Carrara a go. I feel obligated to warn you not to try loading Genesis 3... DAZ does not have it working yet... Carrara will crash.
I've a question... is this the entry thread, voting thread or both?
This is the entry thread along with some chatting. Once the deadline is here, I'll take all entries and set them up for the blind voting panel.
Oh, well using Carrara will exclude one render I was planning but the other I think should work although I'm not sure if Genesis 2 mixed with Kids 4 is something my computer can handle.
Hello all, thought I'd give this a go, see how things land
This is my re-purposed entry and I call it Ignis Maleficus.
Thie re-purposed items I used are:
Leyton Hair for Genesis 2 and Geneis 3 Females
Victorian Iven dress, the coat and boots specificically
Dark Storm Pants
and Fashion Model Pose 14, not sure what its from but it was in Genesis 3 Females poses
And while I'm at it, are there any mix/max limits on image sizes? It doesn't seem to be mentioned in the rules at all.
As far as I'm concerned, custom morphing is fine as long as the morphing is done on directly on your male figure. As for image limits, the only limits are whatever the forum allows which I believe is 2 MB. There is no set size for images. It would be nice if they were big enough to see without squinting though. :)
edited to add highlighted.

A Look Into Your Soul
@mal3Imagery Great image. :) Can you upload an attachment version? It will make my life much easier when I get the pictures ready for the judges at the end of the contest. Thanks.
NAE...Not an entry
This is Ash.
If the same material that was used on the band of that fedora is available to be tiled onto that bow-tie you should give it a try.
Here's another entry from me. Nothing repurposed.
@Knittingmommy - if I want to swap out an image, so it's no longer in the contest. do I delete the image attachment, delete the entire post or just ask you to remove it?
@Butch It's up to you. You can delete the old stuff and post a new post so it's at the most recent part of the thread or you can replace the old entry with the new attachment and delete all of the old entry. I'm not sure if there are any forum rules preventing that. I don't think so. Just make sure that you only have 3 entries by the end of the contest.
Making a new entry, though, means that more people are likely to see it It also flags anyone who is subscribed to the thread that there has been some activity whereas editing a post doesn't. So, if you replace the old one in the old post spot, it might be nice to make a new post to say you replaced an entry with a link to the image that was replaced to make it easier for anyone who wants to go look at it. Make sense?
Perfect, thanks
