    Ok I am asking for help because I really need it .....my renders when printed out are way too dark....is there a way to fix this somehow??? or is there a way somehow to make the printer match what my screen shows???....I am using card stock in case that maters and the printer is not great its a HP deskjet 3512.....Thanks in advance Trish

    I have always had this problem when printing things out, and that was with professional prints as well as doing it myself. About the only thing to do to get a good printout is to have your colours lighter in the copy you do for printing. Like maybe have gamma correction enabled in Bryce, or something.

    BTW Trish I just know you will love this little cutie. http://www.most-digital-creations.com/mogwai.htmAnother option, which would probably work better, is to take the render into Photoshop and change the mode to CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black)instead of RGB (Red,Green, Blue). RGB tends to print darker since the printer has to convert the color settings in order to print them.

    I use my printer software or a graphic program such as Gimp to fix the to dark .

    Pam: Thanks for the cute little gremlin guy.....He will make a nice addition to my cast of animals.....
    Ok : back to changing colors in photoshop from RGB to CMYK ..,.I have PS2 and I still have not played with it enough to know how to use it very well......Tramp Graphics... if you see this can you tell me in more detail how to do this???? Thanks for the PM and I really appreciate the help.....

    GONE SHOPPING.......taking a few days off for my shopping fix it has been since 5 Feb my last purchase will return when I run out of money which should not be too long at the prices lately...or maybe I am just cheap.....LOL Trish

    Thanks Kharma...It was quite a surprise for me winning... a lot of nice entries....it was right on time for a great birthday present and the March sale though....
