    Just trying out wizard in other clothes with some effects with his staff.......These are the ones by Jepe.....easy to work with...( which is really good for me....LOL)...my last 2 renders looks like I am getting kind of violent......

    Unfortunately so far it is a DAZ Studio error and all I have been told was check the info center to see if my issue has been addressed before. Well duh. If this was something fixable on my end I would... why they think I reported the error?

    you have got to be kidding me.....a lot of help that was....I some times think they need people there that give a crap. reminds me of the time I wanted to get part one of a zip file...already had part 2.. hard drive crash lost part 1....showed them that in a screen shot ...they wanted to know how I got it... that was not listed in my product library...tried to explain that I owned a couple of things that weren't listed there either....could not convince them that I had paid for it years ago......told me If I purchased it that it would be listed....( felt like saying no cpt. kirk beamed it onto my hard drive....)

    I'm a 30 year plus PC user. I isolated the error, tracked it down and repeated it several times to be sure it was not a one time glitch. I've done most things from basic coding to to pure Machine Language coding and written things from graphic converters to full blown modem to modem games. When I say TDLmake has a error that is repeatable I know what I'm talking about. Their fix is only a fix for one render and one render only. I need the error to just go away fully. It is only in DS4.6.2.118 as a error bad enough to stop my PC. And my PC is not easy to totally stop but this error will and does.

    thats how they screw up Carrara - fix for a few - screw it up for the rest of us

    I did not realize Carrara was broken glad I did not pay for the upgrade to 8.5 way too much money for anything I could use it for....So you are not going to enter the Bryce Springtime contest????...If you are scared just say so....LOL

    no not 8.5 - before that ( like 3 or 4 years ago )
    had to do with animation from DS to Carrara

    AH HA never got that far with the program all I have tried is modeling a few simple things and for that I can make do with 8Pro

    you model using C 8 - good for you

    bigh: I am way to stupid to do anything else with it...LOL...I bought all of these shaders and stuff for it and never used them...I export trees for Bryce...never loaded M4 or the other people into it ...It is just a pretty icon on my desktop...That's bad too cause I own 5...6...7...and 8..always in the back of my mind ...I think I with sit down one of these days and learn it and it never happens....SAD

    Trish I think your problem with Carrara is probably much the same as mine. I have used Bryce for so long, that although the C interface looks so similar it doesn't actually work in quite the same was, and those little differences are worse to work round than it is to start using a program in which the interface etc is completely different.

    Pam: You are probably right about that....now that I have been using Darkside...I booted up Bryce the other day and could not figure out I could not zoom in and out by rolling the middle mouse button...It must be age or just plain Dumb....lets say age...LOL

    thats how they screw up Carrara - fix for a few - screw it up for the rest of usI'm not the only one. Read some other posts. It has been reported by others as I said before. I'm on a Vanilla i7 setup with a 100% vanilla DAZ install with a 100% vanilla Win7 Pro set up. Only thing different from others is my content is on my D drive that normal enough in user base to need a Fix?

    Just had to google that...holy shit man that is one heck of a processor....you ought to be able to do anything with that....

    I pretty much can when the program does what its supposed to do. I like nice toy's.
