Well I'm building a bundle, just not a DAZ Studio bundle and it'll take me to next February 2020 to finish building the basic running parts of the bundle but'll be worth it in long term cost savings.
I just tried to do the Beginner T-Shirt tutorial on Marvelous Designer's YouTube channel with the Marvelous Designer 9 but my 7 year old laptop is much too slow so I'll take that $250 I saved that i was going to use on a hoped MD Black Friday sale and apply that money instead to build an AMD Ryzen 3400G with Radeon RX Vega 11 integrated GPU Desktop bundle. I'll have it build by February 2020 and it's be the first awesome PC I've had since 2006. Although some folk will differ on it being an awesome PC as it will be lacking an newest tech nVidia video card and Ryzen threadripper CPUs but for me it will be because the CPU will be upgradable for years. The motherboard may be the single most expensive component at $250 if I buy the version of the MB with WiFi 6 built in. Not sure i'll ever really need WiFi 6 though as nothing in my house is WiFi 6, not me iPhone SE, not my old laptop, and not my ROKU MDL stick. I'll be starting out with an Intel 2TB SSD, and 1 stick of 32GB RAM DDR4 3000 but both will double ro 2 2TB SSD and 2 x 32GB RAM as I save the money and add the extra modules so in my book that's pretty awesome.
Given as there are sometimes very big discounts during the holidays I'll buy what and if any of the parts go on sale piece by piece if I have the money when the sale is on. I'm not sure if PC parts ever get those big Black Friday discounts other things get though.
The surprising thing is since i'm not buying a discrete video card right away since the GPU is an APU and have my old monitor for 2006 to build a minimal brand new AMD Desktop PC only involves 6 parts @ $849 if I buy the parts from the cheapest listed at PCPartsPicker. If I buy all the parts at smile.amazon.com the total price goes up to $886 so $37 more expensive but the convenience of Amazon and the supposed greater protection for shoppers their might make it worth it, I'm not sure.
That does sound pretty credible, @L'Adair - I was thinking(hoping) it would maybe be this weekend until, like you say, there wasn't a catchup or wrapup announced friday, so maybe the next weekend. This PCP sale is killing me. Every day, another cart. :)

I use everything from generation 3 to G8, though mostly Genesis 1/2/3/8. Here's a couple of A3 renders I made a while ago, until recently I think she was the only one in the DAZ store who had an ice skater dress and skates. Unfortunately DAZ pulled the set from the store instead of fixing it when I reported a bug (skates in DS version crashes DS), despite I told them that it works OK if you just use the skates from the Poser version. The other skater is the new dForce Ice Skating Princess Outfit and Rink for Genesis 8 Female(s) set, dForced upon Aiko 8. Really nice and well made set.
Hopefully also the end of the PC sale. Two weeks is more than enough IMO, sales are often 5 weeks or more now.
Well, i've bought some stuff for the Gen3 in the 8 items for 2.99 sale.
There are some really cool outfits for them.
Now i have to find the time to put them into renders.
@dragonfly_2004, I believe they are referring to the "Bundle Buddy" offer at the top of the page. The full subject line of the email, for those who haven't read it yet, (or don't get the newsletters,) is this: Final Day - Build a Bundle Weekend - So Many Free Options. The Bundle Buddy offer started yesterday and ends today, and offers free products with purchase of Debut releases. On the other hand, the Build Your Own Bundle has never been free, and has been available every day since the sale started.
That's my interpretation, anyway.

I'm still hoping for another week of $1.99 vendor goodies. And if there is a catchup sale on the BYOB, with all the products offered the entire sale, I know I could put together another couple of bundles. I'm also hoping for a couple more of the $9.99 Anniversary bundles. Maybe these will have products I can use, and don't already own. Out of the 8, I've only purchased 3…
That said, when I'm not caught up in the PC+ for a Day frenzy, I too think the sales go on too long. I personally would like to see the PA Festival moved to August. I'd like to see it start on Aug 1 and end on Aug 31. Then start the PC Anniversary sale on Oct 1 and end it on Oct 31. There's no way you can move Black Friday, and the Holiday Rewards will start right after. But with the schedule I'd like to see, we'd get a breather between these three major sales events. Who knows? We might actually find time to use some of the products we've purchased during the event sales!
(FWIW, I'd also like to see March Madness start Mar 1 and end Mar 31…)
I'm going to assume there is good reason for not having an event sale during the summer months, though. Too bad. It always feels like the event sales are crammed together, even with two months between the last event of one year and the first event of the next.
Then again, I'd like to add another event sale to the schedule: either May or June should be the Raining Men event. lol
Well it's hard not to buy more than you can afford with those prices. And if you can afford it you usually end up with a lot more than you'll ever be able to use. I already have over 16.000 products, it begins to feel a bit crazy. :)
Me too - have most of it already. Whether that's good or bad I'm not sure but at least it saves me some money. :)

I agree- I would like to see the PA and PC+ sale separated by a month, and the March Madness stick to MARCH. There's just too much for Oct/Nov/Dec.
The PA sales was through September too. January or July seems be lul periods.
Hmmm, Leon is not a Genesis/ generation anything? Says built from scratch, and it's under People, not a generation. Anyone have him/ rendered him? He's 1.99 today.

I didn't buy him for that reason, but at $1.99 I'm considering him again... and there's a category for Leon renders in this year's "It's Raining Men" contest if you are interested!

That's correct. I remember the PA, in another thread, talked about building Leon from the ground up. She said it was done with an eye to improving her modeling skills than to make money in the DAZ Store with the product.
Okay, to make a clone that folks in that thread says works to put other clothes on him, just type in 3dOutlaw tutorial V4 to Dawn in google.

Anyone who knows how GypsyAngel is doing? I've sent her the gift card I won in the GypsyAngel contest three times now, twice to her private email and once by replying to the email she sent from gofundme when I donated, but the gift card still hasn't been redeemed.
That worries me. I emailed her two weeks ago asking how she was- she and I had been in constant contact for about 10 days, then radio silence. I'll email her again right now. Hope she's not in the ICU.
Teena is the same way. I'm tempted to grab them both at that price, but I don't like the idea of not being able to use morphs with them.
They both look great in the promos. But even at $1.99 each I decided to pass on getting both because of the lack of a wide variety of clothing and the lack of morphs..
Teena and Leon are low resource figures, but look good even up close, so they can help fill out a crowd, where LoRez figures an billboards would look out of place; and you can modify how they look, just using the parameters dials. At a couple of bucks each, what have you got to lose, especially since they include hair and clothes (Teena has a dForce dress that can be short or long)?

I just got Map Master Pro, as it looked more versatile than the one that I had, Map Manager - https://www.daz3d.com/map-manager.
I'm a very casual on-again-off-again user of Daz (hope to be using it more soon - hope springs eternal), and I'm wondering how much difference there is between these products. Map Master Pro mentions creating the UV templates and Multi Map Loader mentions creating a map zone shader builder.
Anyone have any insights on the differences? Whether it's worth having both if I already have Map Master Pro? I really want to be able to save out UV templates and create my own patterns/textures for clothing and skins. Mostly clothes, most likely. Maybe objects.

If you want those HD free products, you only have to buy ONE of the new debuts. Since I'm only picking up the PC+ cheapies, it wasn't worth buying the Agate Noir and the textures to get 10% off for buying two. The difference in prices when I only had one of them in the cart were 3.39 (81%) to 3.77 (79%) and only 38 cents, and 1.69 (87%) to 1.88 (85%) 19 cents So if you want a couple of the HD characters, do one of these at a time.

You can of course re-purchase these over and over to get the HDs you want. :) I'm using the 1.88 Agate Noir Psyche over and over. There's no limit on the promo stating you can only get one freebie, so this is not a glitch.
I think Vladimir would look amazing with more detail, he's already got great wrinkles. Looking at Zelara HD since she has the chin cleft and is different. I went with Gia for the second one though. And be careful, they have the Generation 6, 7 mixed in with the 8's. There's some Gen8's at the end.
I'm guessing they're sorted by most popular, as they've been doing with other links. Just select New Arrivals in the Sort by filter and it will rearrange them by newest first.
It wasn't much of an issue for me. Apparently I buy far too many of these, as only 7 of 64 were showing.
