    Hi all;

I've been going back to a bunch of stuff I never finished, going back to 2009. This is made from a couple of experiments with Spacebones Alien leaves for Bryce and alien leaves for the Ivy Generator. Merged them all together in one scene: “Mags and Pip Play Hide-N-Seek”. Some dragons do just want to have fun…

Mil dragon from DAZ 3D. Widget character by Noggins also from DAZ.

Objects use for Ivy generation created in Modo.

Illuminated by the Bryce Sun and use sky IBL,

Rendered at 64 RPP in about 2 1/2 hours.

    Thanks for looking!

Dan, strange and beautiful bushes.  I like the realism of the one with red flowers but the alien one is so cool.

Two equal terrains in different sizes with the same material rendered as a false aspect ratio cylindrical panorama. Bryce clouds, the HDRI for the ambient light made with UniHDRI (available on my website), the key light by the sun.

    Mountain Barrier

Twice the same panorama side by side.

That's a spectacular terrain.  Love the material you used.

  • Horo - Beautiful arctic image. Reminds me of Norway.

Mary thanks for the comments on my last image. It is much appreciated!

    Spring Tower.
Another render of my Strange Objects series I've been working on.  Will try to zip & upload the library for downloading, before I start some medical treatment in a couple of weeks.

    Thank you NGartplay and Dan.

S Ray - very beautiful render. The tower looks great and the trees are excellent, sky and lighting fit the scene perfect.

The same terrain as in the snowy panorama render above where the camera was where now the lake is. Two terrains stacked this time and much lower. In front is a mound terrain, the slope to the pond was a bit boring without.

S Ray : beautiful image, the "strange" objects fit perfectly in the scene. Sky and light are awesome.

Horo : amazing result, a total different scene came out of that transformation.

S Ray - excellent render. The 'strange object' looks great and the trees are excellent, awesome lighting and textures, a perfect scene.

Horo - wow that's awesome, a beautiful render, hard to image it's the same terrain.

A simple Space scene and an anaglyph, for both I used the Hdris from the https://www.bryce-tutorials.info/shop/bryce-7-1-pro-exotic-hdri-for-fantasy-skies-and-sci-fi-1/

The first sky did not work for the anaglyph, so I changed it, and I'm pleased with the result.

    adbc - thank you.

mermaid - thank you. That spaceship came out nice. First, I had some problems with the anaglyph but after a moment it came out to me. Both well done.

  • mermaid010mermaid010 Posts: 5,490

Thanks Horo - my hubby also had the problem but when he stood up he saw the spaceship coming to him. lol

S Ray, very fine render.  The trees look wonderful.

Horo, Love the sky and the lighting is perfect.  The terrain material is excellent.  I like the rocks in the foreground for interest.

Mermaid010, I really like the first one.  That is a beautiful sky.  I'm having trouble with the anaglyph.  It doesn't want to pop for me.  I get a little sense of it coming out but the blue spaceship layer to the right doesn't disappear for me. :(

A tilted Gritstone Hill terrain with mostly specularity and anisotropy, transparency with high refraction and some reflection. Light - or rather specularity - and colour from the Burns HDRI, no sun and quite a bit of haze. It renders within minutes, changing the orientation of the HDRI a bit gives completely different results. I had played a day and finally settled with this version.

    S Ray: That's a wonderful render.

Horo: great lights and mood in your first one and very hot landscape in the last one, well done!

    Mermaid010: lovely space render.

Here is a stacked terrain that was created starting with a purpose made PS Elements file, put into the terrain editor, modified and blended (twice) with an existing heightmap I used before, modified again and I forgot all the actions I did on it. Sky is from the set of landscapes under fantastic skies by David and Horo.

Another Anaglyph, changing the sky, again using one from the Exotic Hdri set. It’s a bit busy but I like the result.
