mermaid : very beautiful object, the texture and HDRI are in harmony.

mermaid - well done, almost monochrome and the faint reflections make it even more interesting.

An Alien Artifact by MatCreator and an instance of it with slightly different materials on a Shadow Capture Disk and behind a tilted 2D-Face, transparent and a bit reflecting, lit by an HDRI and a bit of sun. In the anaglyph, the tentacles reach out to grab you ...

Horo, such a strange object.  I love the material on it because it looks like a claw or talons but made of old metal.

  • adbcadbc Posts: 3,115

Horo : interesting artefact, great material. The anaglyph is awesome it really comes out of the screen.

I didn't get any feedback on which signature image to use so I'm just going to cycle them.

All your banners are very nice.

NGartplay, mermaid010, adbc, Horo, Thank you. Sometimes a landscape needs something, I think and this one needed those machines.

Agentsmith: this is fantastic, I should try that technique too, I think.

    Mermaid010: Cool render.

    Horo, Lovely materials, nicely presented.

adbc, well done. I specifically like the first one, because of the fantastic structure.

adbc - great models and very nicely presented. Great urban scenes (not nice as such) but superbly done.

I played around a bit with the Space Construction Kit. Two terrains combined from Moon DEMs and the spaceship is the Hog by Phillip Drawbridge, once available at Daz.

    Horo : thank you.

Great scene, the sky and the terrain are awesome.

  • NGartplayNGartplay Posts: 3,116

Horo, love the whole scene but the moon is awesome.  Drawbridge made some fine models.

    Great Moon surface texture.

Horo: any idea of the texture used, let alone the crater on the bottom-left...they can get confusing

    Cheers

adbc and NGartplay - thank you.

Hey Jay - great to see you back. If I'm not mistaken, I got the Moon DEMs from you a long time ago. The material used is from High Resolution Terrains 2. The blueish colours of the HDRI (Gasclouds_B07, declined by Daz) and the sun (reddish) modify the rather grey/brown colour of the terrain material.

Horo, great space scene. What, here the wysiwyg functions as expected! Not over at another thread. Let me check back there.

  • mermaid010mermaid010 Posts: 5,490

Horo - after seeing Hansmar abstract, I saw the spaceship as a face too, that's illusion at its peak, beautiful work.

    Thank you Hansmar and mermaid.

That's great, Horo...concerning the material used, as it suits nicely in your work above.

Also, thanks for the welcome back, but I never left really as I check out the Bryce Discussions everyday, and the renders submitted from all the Brycers involved always blows my mind.

    Jay wink
