    thx Head Wax, too kind, actually not one of my best renders:) very poor in fact..

    lately I'm intrigued by the possibility to transfer works done in carrara into d/s to be rendered in 3delight and have 2 options interchangeable in few steps and with a little effort.

    attached 3 shots of a complex scene assembled in carrara and rendered with 3delight

    Don't delete the attachments - you are posting links to them, not the image data itself, in the body of the post. You still see the cached copies on your own machine, no-one comming along later sees the images.

    here is the first try - w.i.p.-

    less than 2 minutes per frame, same scene and camera motion exported from carrara into 3ds via dae format

    The negotiation with the dwarf people.
    the people are Genesis 8  Konvert to Obj --> Import in Carrara. :)

    for last two months workers have been digging up and laying a new road in front of our house..

    good chance to mess with my local community devil

    magaremoto - I still cannot see the posts.

    Wendy - that Carrara hair is unruly, just like mine when I had more.  

    Khoe - excellent image, wonderful job tweaking the shaders for Carrara, especially the armor.

    Stezza - will have to compare construction, they tore down and are rebuilding a highway overpass that can be seen from my condo.  I will have to take a picture and integrate some of my models when I get back home.

    You may be right, @Khoe.
    Thank you. I like the idea but I am not satisfied with the lighting and other things. Maybe I will improve it later with no deadlines ;-)

    Yes, it was nice and cold (-9c)!
    26 degrees Celsius is my upper temperature limit when I still feel like a human being.

    the creation date says 11/14/21 so this was my last render in carrara 7 standard. flare is a little too bright. is there any possibility of purchasing the pro key for my version of carrara 7? im sure 8.5 probably wouldnt run very well on this old p4 win xp machine but c7 works fine.

    asking on the forum no help sadly, DAZ don't read it, you need to contact them and they will not offer any support for Carrara 8.5 even so I don't like your chances. crying

    I vote DAZ uses Stezza's version like they have the 3DU Chameleon for Oooopsenlightened

    well im sure i downloaded the pro version update i just need to pay for the key to get it to install and update and thank you for trying.

    I don't know if they will still sell you the pro key for 7, but please let us all know.  They have been known to buy software only to update once or twice then abandon it.  Could come up for something else as well down the road.
