Now around that yesterday night, scouring my folders 3d content, I found a cape, and a dress for V4, that neither of them remembered
joining the two took a look "through" Arabic for V4:

    Hello everybody!
Sorry to have disappeared that night ... But this time it was midnight here in Brazil.
But the fact is that I had shelved this idea webcomic, and ebook for some time, and my thought was to return to it when I had enough to pay for modeling clothes, money for the characters.
My story takes place in Jerusalem ... Aah, Palestine also, and ultimately throughout the Middle East ... But Poser and Daz stores have a very limited clothing of the Middle East
I have Moroccam dream, LoRes arab, someone already pointed me to a burqa V3, but the end is not enough ...

    Here are a few possibilities...
    RW Desert Prince
    Shepherd for M3
Spadassassin (maybe not too authentic...could be useful for kitbashing though)
Kameez (more South Asian than Middle Eastern, but maybe still useful, especially if the setting is modern-day)
    SG Headdresses
    Totally Bazaar for textures
You might find some at other sites too...I know Mec4D sells some fantasy Middle Eastern clothing at her site.

You might also use things like the Morphing Fantasy Dress (and add-ons) or Pharaohs of the Sun, especially if you re-texture them with Totally Bazaar or another resource.

    Hi Jorge!
Scott-L mentioned what I was going to- the Totally Bazaar and The Fabricator can turn items of clothing into different cultures- if you are looking for tunic styles or loose fitting, those fabrics can really make a difference.

I'll see if I can look around and spot some good kit bashing clothes. Anyone else have ideas for Jorge or find outfits, please feel free to post (with the links please.)

Voy a ver si puedo mirar alrededor y ver algunas buenas ropas kitbashing. ¿Alguien más tiene ideas para Jorge o encontrar trajes, no dude en publicar (con los enlaces por favor.)

So I assume we are talking V4 Jorge?
Así que supongo que estamos hablando V4 Jorge?

Love the gray/beige one, and the trim.
Me encanta el / un gris beige, y la moldura.

This has the modest neckline, but since arms need to be covered, it would go pretty with the cloak.
Esto tiene el escote modesto, pero como necesitan los brazos para cubrirse, que iría bastante con el manto.

There's not much out there so far as being modest, for V4.
No hay mucho por ahí hasta el momento de ser modesto, para V4.

SereneNight posted her comparisons of two bots- for Genesis and G2F. Take a peek. Which do you like better?

I have to agree with her about the ball-joints, so as far as design goes I prefer the Genesis one. Kind of like the materials on the G2F version though.

I haven't done a review in forever, I've been on a tight budget this year and not buying much that's new. I've spent the PA sale waiting to pounce on some of my wishlisted items. The other day I picked up the DimensionTheory/AoA Grass Shader, which has been around a while so I'm sure many of you have already tried it.

Grass Shader for DAZ Studio by AgeofArmour and DimensionTheory.
with flowers from Nature's Variance - Shaders And Props for DAZ Studio by DimensionTheory.

I have to thank MelanieL in particular for putting me on to this shader, which she used to good effect in her recent RRRR entry!

I hesitated over buying because I already had the Shades of Life - Nature shaders but find they need a lot of tweaking to get results I like. I was pleased with how simple it is to get good results from this new shader set. I just added a few other plant props and also the flower patches from the Variance shader set.

Because I was working with my toon characters the green is saturated here but you can get a whole range of natural-looking shades and effects. It rendered quickly on my desktop even when I had a couple of different grass layers (only one was used in this render though).

This grass shader is going to be a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to working with it more with regular characters as well as toons.

Oooh, I really like that grass- it looks soft and touchable. The deer is adorable too, nice DOF.
Just FYI, don't worry about rendering "new" items, render anything you've got. The five threads are so large that things are getting buried anyway and I'm not spending any time cataloging the past threads right now because I have Zbrush to do.

If you're not familiar with ZBrush or are curious as to what it's like from a totally new user, I'm the guinea pig.
Let's put it this way- you won't want to stop playing. You'll hear yourself saying "Wheeeee!" alot as you move the mouse and that lump of clay on your computer screen dances and scoots merrily along it's way.

I'm sharing the hotkeys, tips, and time savers (just trying to find out how to clear the doodle and start over, without exiting completely, will save you two hours of looking. I could NOT find out how to get out, and it was in the FOURTH video for pete's sake.)

    Here's the thread.

I got Sunehri. It said required products Lilith and boy was THAT something. I think her bust was 52D. Then I saw at the bottom it said G2F and that went MUCH better LOL. I'm doing a render but didn't have time to test the lighting after increasing it, so not sure how this is going to go. I might have a render for you this afternoon, it's 5:20am and I'll get it started. Gotta get some sleep.

    http://www.daz3d.com/sunehri

EDIT: Looks like it will be okay. Enough of it has rendered so I can tell.

    Hi Silver!
Yes, it was quite an "OMGOSH!!!" experience.
She is absolutely stunning- I am using her as one of my main characters in my ebook. :) I have many of your products of course and the past two years we've showcased quite a few. I haven't tried Meridiana yet but she's on my gotta-do list. And I don't know if you've seen Sasje's render- it's adorable!

    Sunehri (Raziel / Silver)
    http://www.daz3d.com/sunehri

The Living Room (DAZ3D / ARTCollab)
    http://www.daz3d.com/the-living-room

Sunehri is very easy to light, as I mentioned before this is just very quickie lighting without much testing and it doesn't do her justice. One thing to note is how nicely the change in tone flows from the backside of the hand to the palm- a very nice gradient. (Some of the darker skinned folks from (I think it was) Gen 4 had some pretty noticeable skin zone differences.) I don't particularly like the expression I used as it made one eye appear smaller with the camera angle- but that's not the fault of the figure.

Sunehri is very classy and sophisticated :)

The Living Room comes with it's own lights but I used a set I already had loaded. I took out a planter that was on the mantle because with my lights it was glowing too much and I wanted sleep!! I like the wallpaper, nice touch. A very "comfy" room.

I'm doing Sunehri with my more typical lightsets so you can get a better feel for her. Testing the Dea Araneam Hair on her. I increased Smoothing to 11 to be on the safe side because I didn't want to get halfway through the render and have a darn-it moment. :) She'll be coming up in about 45 minutes to an hour I think. It's a closeup and that's long hair, shading rate .20 etc. A LOT of lights.

EDIT: It's at 45% at an hour. Taking longer than I thought, but looking quite decent.

I have that Dodo- who can resist?!! I agree, totally funny and looks quite the imp. I haven't a clue when I'll ever need him, but since my ebook will have whimsical elements in the future I'll have to keep Dodo in mind. I think he would look cute with that Phoenix bird, so elegant. The Phoenix would be looking at him, puzzled!

A quick reminder- Fotosketcher. :) It's free. Samples below. You have to watch the shadow areas when you render, particularly if using pen and ink. Look at her nose- the blob.

Topaz Labs just came out with Illusion also. But it's 100.00 Unlike Fotosketcher, you make the brushes.
Anyone got a referral link set up? (The last person to post Topaz Clean was making money off each person who bought. I don't mind that but it should be mentioned.)

These are oil, a diluted cartoon, pen and ink

Their Facebook page tells you how to get 25% off (offer extended) otherwise it's only 15% at retailmenot (dot com) I NEVER shop without checking that latter one, I always save on orders. (Including a lot of free shipping.) That' 25% is going to go away shortly, they just had problems with MAC users so they are extending the Facebook only offer.

Edit: that coupon code would be for Topaz Labs if you're doing a search.

Be sure and check that your computer has Open GL 3.2 or later. Mine doesn't :)

BTW, Topaz Illusion has a free trial. If you're thinking of a program like this, you can try it. It's fun to play with. I'll putz and post.
Edit: I updated my drivers and still won't have the Open GL 3.2 that is needed, so out of luck. :)

I have tried both bump and displacement on the energy field and that sucker isn't budging. I mean 100% and upping the positive and negative on both. I wanted to see how that energy field would look. Must be doing something wrong.

@Novica: The nephilim portal is interesting. From this angle it reminds me of a Jacuzzi just waiting to be jumped into.

I too am enjoying Sunehri. She is a beautiful character, with a nice mid-tone skin. I'm rendering her now and she looks stunning.

I also picked up Cassia with my 6.00 PC Club coupie. . I still can't figure out what is eligible with the other coupon. =-)

Well, looking at the product page's included features, the different shapes the energy field can take are created either by morphs or three different meshes, not bump or displacement settings. I'd check for either of those two possibilities.
