FYI, the In Bloom for Mei Lin 6  if you look at the fourth thumbnail, the first character on the left, that's a nice muscular, stocky build. This product gives you a nice variety and is 60% off. Anyone got renders of these?

Also getting It Takes Character  (nice work Cris!) as I particularly love the second thumbnail, upper right character- unusual nose. The nostrils are unique. I like that the "Clear Body" is included so you can retweak if you want to start over. Have fun with dials!

Wow, fun tiger tattoo on her back!  Kenzie for Mei Lin 6

Like the eyebrows, not sure if the mascara will be too clumpy to use on other Gen2F's  Nastya for Aiko 6   Anyone rendered her?

Double feature- get the necklace, etc, a variety of colorful skin materials, and a character with decent eyebrows. Also freckles!  EJ Bellaluna And Moonchild Jewels

Warmth for Lilith 6  I like the third thumbnail, bottom right character. She would seem a bit older to me, good for more mature woman.

Okay, I'll stop. What are you folks looking at?

blush Now that the sale is over...here are a few from Warmth for Lilith 6  and  In Bloom for Mei Lin 6 . They are both great morph sets with lots of variety.

Wow Z, that's a really nice comparison of the body shapes, side by side! I won't ask how long that took you to do. And yep, the swimsuit is pretty wonky on a lot of those!

Hey, I'm happy that you have them! Did you get them during the sale or did you have them previously?  I'll pick them up during the PC Sale or sometime during Oct-Dec, there's lots of sales. I'm more busy doing writing than rendering, so don't need them right now anyway. Thanks for sharing them- to me, they give a nice age range, definitely some older looking characters can be made.

I'm headed to the barn, was 108 heat index and Stetson gets brought in every day at noon (two high velocity fans in his stall) so I go out periodically during the week in the evening and put him back out for an hour so he can finish his day with real grass instead of hay. Spoiled rotten (but I feel every mammal should be inside when it's that hot frankly!)

Didn't make it to the barn, got too late after fixing the carrots, horse spray (custom mix) etc. So testing Kelly.

Here's a "Gotta Have!!!!"     200 Plus Head and Face Morphs for Genesis 3

Oh my heavens. When I was looking at the promos, I was trying to discern what would be a wow factor on these. Well, if you've ever wanted to tweak any teeny, tiny detail- this is it! The slightest curve of the ends of the mouth, moving the middle of the lip so far as VOLUME, not increasing the size per se where the lip would go more botox so far as shape- (aka, heart shaped)   You name it, you can do it.  My "always want to tweak" with the nose, even on Gen 7, is the wings and the nostrils. This lets you move the width of the hole, the vertical, everything- likewise with the wings. (The part that holds the holes.) Nostril refers to both the hole and wings. I see a line I can tweak going across the slope of the nose, but otherwise, very happy with it.

And the mouth? Same thing. Tweak away!

Get it and have a blast!!!! I'll show you Kelly in a minute, totally done with only this product, no other characters mixed.

Before I forget, "nose arc" is one of the key sliders I found that helps smooth out the lines of the nostril. When you blend Nordic, Greek, etc with some of the other sliders, (or any sliders together, for that matter) you need to be sure you haven't created a bit of a wobbly line with the nose holes. This product is SO COOL! Be sure and note the beautiful (no modesty, I'm pleased as punch!) smooth nostrils, the "hole" outline. And I got the corners of the mouth to do exactly as I wanted, without excessive puckering. I'm tickled with this product- Dogz- it rocks!!!!

This took about 8 minutes of playing, not my optimal gal but wanted to show you want you can do. If you've used it, share yours!

(Also, that's Toulouse Hair and Eclipse. The hair has not been optimized for Iray, that was out of the box.)  Basic default environment map, ISO 100, exposure value 15.70, etc)

Fiddling with eyes and brows now. One thing- quality assurance did a poor job of checking the product- height is spelled wrong in MULTIPLE places on the sliders. Yes, this bugs me. There's no excuse to have words spelled wrong in major products repeatedly.

I bought them a few months back on another sale after I discovered the other Fuseling morphs. They are pretty awesome.

Argh, you had to post that 200 Plus Head and Face Morphs for Genesis 3! I really want that and have been putting it off. I'm afraid I will stop using G2F if I get too much G3F stuff. And I agree - Dogz does some great morphs.

I bought it tonight, just because it is a Dogz product. I am a big big Dogz fan. In fact, I once did an homage to Dogz image for my gallery, using all the Dogz products I owned at the time. Now I have several more.

Kelly for Victoria 7         200 Plus - Head & Face Morphs for Genesis 3 Female(s)

Dove Hair For Genesis 3 Female(s)              i13 Daydream  (Pose)

FWSA Gillian HD for Victoria 7 and LF Sorbet Swimwear

The one thing about the 200 morphs is the ability to work with the entire face- and wow, I love what you can do with the brows. Raise the middle, or either end- it's fun. In this render, I broadened the chin, tweaked the eyebrows and eyes, etc. Put her in a swimsuit so everyone could see the skin. Couldn't find a way to tweak the strap but not going to worry about it. I had to laugh, I was wondering how the heck I got such a skimpy swimsuit- it came with the character.

Today's review is V4 Pose Converter- Zev, Draagonstorm

    http://www.daz3d.com/v4-pose-converter-for-genesis-and-genesis-2-female-s

This product is great and a lot of fun, and its title says it all…It is a script which can convert v4 poses to  Genesis, and Genesis 2 female.

Using it is easy. You just locate the folder of the poses you want to convert, and then use the script to convert the poses to a dedicated folder. What I ended up doing the second round of conversion was converting my entire poser pose folder. This will convert some odd things like DAZ animal poses, hands, expressions and foot poses. But you'll also get the majority of your gen 4 poses converted without a lot of cherry-picking. I suggest letting it run overnight. It can take a while. Make sure you back your converted poses up. Don't be like me and accidentally throw them away.... sad

I'm really pleased with the converter utility.smiley Not only did I use it to initially convert my poses to gen 2, but you can then convert them to gen 3 if you like using other utilities. So you really can get a lot of mileage out of this.  I particularly found it useful that it converted my men’s poses which isn’t advertised, but it does quite well, with allowances for character size and shape.

When the pose is applied you might get a few minor discrepancies in the pose, due to height, weight, and shape. I noticed it occasionally in the placement of the hands. No big deal for me though. They still look great.

Overall, I think this is an invaluable tool to give those of us with a lot of older generation poses more mileage. =-)

In the attached images, you will see the original gen 4 character and pose on the left, and the V4 converted on on the right. I did one using Micahel at the end so you could see, that it does indeed convert Michael's poses nicely.

Thanks Serene Night! Doing another one, rotated her around, is same pose. Rendering now.

On the ones you converted, was that V4 to Genesis or Genesis 2? They look good. It's nice to know the men can at least be tackled and result in some very close poses. Glad you didn't give up after you deleted all those...arrgh.

I did only v4- gen 2 for all 3. You can also apply converted poses to genesis as well.

Thanks, I thought so but wanted to be sure there wasn't a Genesis snuck in there.

Here's the rotated view of my 200-Kelly. (broadened chin, eyebrows tweaked, etc)

Does anyone have Genesis 3 Female Head Morph Resource Kit?  Would like to give it equal time, but I don't have it yet.

Karen 7            Romance for Genesis 3 Female(s)         Krayon Hair for Genesis 3 Female(s)

The Romance dress, you can choose your color in Surfaces tab, and the collar, arm bands etc are different material zones so I made those darker. The arm bands are 93 / 101 / 111  and the dress is 159 / 180 / 178

I turned the ISO down to 90, exposure value is 13.08, default lighting. Burn highlights .31, crush blacks .25, saturation 1.09

Note: I added a small touch of blue hue overall. Karen doesn't seem as ruddy-muddy as some of the others, but I still like her with a bit of blue for this scene.

Yea, that bikini that was included with FWSA Gillian HD appears to work quite well on G3F (by completely avoiding the problematic areas, and having 'extra room' in others, lol).

    http://www.daz3d.com/fwsa-gillian-hd-for-victoria-7-and-lf-sorbet-swimwear

P.S. you need not teas me with renders of Kelly smiley , she was already in the 'will buy' list, lol. Another I just came across from an e-mail, is Harmoney for Ninive 6

    http://www.daz3d.com/harmoney-for-ninive-6

Now, I admit that I don't have Ninive 6 anything yet (G3F launched the month I was going to hit the Buy now button). Given the amount of Grief I'm having with getting cloths to fit non-daz G3F figures, I am reevaluating my future plans. I was an idiot and got the past three G3F Pro packs, only to not be able to get 'Skirt Protection' that fits the non-daz figures included in the Pro Packs. Honestly, less then a third of what I spent on G3F at this point, is usable due to some underlying issues with the technology. I wish I had gotten Ninive 6 Pro instead.

In fact, I have wasted so much time on G3F, that I'm delinquent in voting in the RRRR contest.

That swimsuit probaby works so well because there's hardly anything to it, lol!

I was surprised at the Harmoney product images, they seem a bit overlit and washed out. I looked at the hands, and can't see the fingernails in the promo where her hands are clasped in front of her. The bulb of her nose doesn't have any midtones either. So I didn't personally care for the promo art.

I did pick up Ninive 6 during that Genesis 2 sale, I bought her individually and not the Pro bundle. There have been so many releases as base figures instead of characters, that now I have to think who is who and what I don't have. I used to get every Pro bundle, but now there are figures I don't even have. Too many, too fast. I'l have to go see what I have for Ninive and render a few.

The RRRR threads are fun, thanks for reminding everyone to vote.

This is the other Karen, no hue changes.

Barbult- don't know what happened, I posted a comment and probably overwrote the draft. (Still trying to learn the forum peculiarities)  I thought those kids were so cute in your render- and man, you managed to squeeze a lot in there! Hope everyone pops over to see it

I like putzing with Uber Base to experiment, and used Ninive as she was mentioned and she's rather difficult IMO with that ultra light skin. Still not where I'd want her, but I'm not using her anytime soon. I got her during that sale (think it was 60% off) as I liked a character with her. Can't remember which one right off the top of my head.  Has anyone rendered her?  (iray or 3DL)

To me, the scrawny neck doesn't look like it can hold up that head. That's her style though.

Barbult, I love your Dogz homage. He does some great stuff. I guess I'll have to get those morphs.
Novica, wow, speaking of those morphs, great render and character!
Serene Night, I guess I need that Pose Converter too. I am trying to slow down my spending!
ZarconDeeGrissom, that's a lot of G3F ladies. I just haven't gotten that excited about her yet. Glad you remembered to vote in RRRR. Today is the deadline!
I have the DAZ Genesis 3 Female Head Morphs and they are pretty good. The first two are using them. That is V7 skin map with base color darkened and translucency reduced. The third one Ninive with some modifications. I think she is weird-looking too but got her on sale also.

Well your Ninive looks awesome- the DOF and lighting is amazing as usual. I bet Ninive got quite a few additional sales when she went 60%, and I'm going to see what character it was that I bought for her. Ah, it was Larian. I liked the purple face makeup with the (looks like a) moth on her face. Body looks too thick to be a butterfly in that makeup option. Anyone done Larian?

I laughed so hard at the RRRR entries. The Loveboat Launcher, Roadpainters, Warhorse Spa, Hairdresser to the Stars, Rodent Real Estate, Photo Bomber, Air Traffic Controller, and so many others got my attention. Those were the ones I started writing down, then gave it up and kept going over and over the thread with a separate window open. I don't even know what I ended up voting on!

    First buy a gift card.

Next, use your monthly PC codes to take $6 off (or do two orders with $6 off) the 50% prices (or more.)

Since I saved 10% on the gift card, and took another $6 off using the PC discount, I was getting 60% to 70% or more off (some of the DO's were already 60% + off) Sweet!

I picked up Contemporary Studio Apartment, Outdoor Bathroom, Comfort Living Room, Modular Lounge, and i13 Modern Loft.

Thanks- it was really fun. I decided it was best for me to work on my book though instead of contests, simply because it was so time consuming. Not even doing renders for the book yet, still writing, editing, rewriting. But I always pop in to see what's happening over there because it's hilarious, and really high quality art.

How to get 16.3% off gift cards: Click here   It was a mistake but they are letting it roll- for today at least.

Here's a draft of a render- only 16% done at over an hour. I am piddling but have to stop as it's slowing down my computer so much that I am getting lag when trying to type my book. This is with Sun-Sky, with using longitude/latitude and setting it for 2pm in August. Film ISO is 95, Exposure value 12.94, Shutter Speed 176.76, F Stop 6.84

Okay, I don't know WHY adding one of those featured products drops the price of Scott, but it does. None of the promo wording says it will do that, but I bought Dusty and he went to $5.93 (that would be 50% kicking in) and the Pro Scott went to $47.24. I've already used my coupon or I could take another $6 off that, so you should be able to get the Pro Bundle for $41.24 if you have one of those items in the cart and use your code. Lots of good stuff in that bundle- they apparently listened to us when we were complaining, and/or also wanted usable, PRACTICAL stuff.

I also bought Kathy. Neither of the other two appealed to me.

Yeah, but PC or PC+ gets the higher discount on DO's (more than 30%) to begin with-  other people were showing 60% BTW and all I started with/remained at was 50%. When I bought one of the items, I knew about the 50% (which is what I mentioned above in parenthesis ("that would be the 50% kicking in")

My question really was, why others showed 60% right off the bat, whereas I had 50% then the price went to 47.24 only if I bought the second item. And it certainly didn't drop the price I aleady had showing by 50% when I added the second item. (Remember, it started at 50% off.) So I don't know what it's doing to end up at 47.24, but it's a good price.

Here's a closeup of Bonnie with Chace Hair, in the Outdoor Bathroom. Rendered all night. Love the materials in the Bathroom, nice and crisp, surfaces pop.
