hubert : thank you.
An abstract: 2 tori, 1 sphere, 2 planes.
adbc - great abstract, like a look through the foliage of a tree.
Two terrains from HRT-3 with self made materials, the water is a self made terrain with a material from HRT-4. The clouds and the HDRI for the ambient light are from the Sky Toolbox, the key light by the sun. The birds are from Clarence Tippets.
Past as Future, Horo, mermaid, adbc, hubert: Thank you. Mind you, I did not create the snow materials on the first two (though I might have modified them slightly).
Adbc, The nuked building one is a hot render; though the scene is one of devastation. The one with the double moon has a great atmosphere. The abstract is also beautiful. I like the subtle light through the items.
Horo, Great render of your favourite pet. And another fantastic landscape from you.
Horo, Hansmar : thank you.
Horo : Impressive landscape, very realistic.
Thank you adbc.
Adbc - great abstract, like a camouflage
Horo - wow superb render
Thank you mermaid.
Thank you Hansmar, missed it above.
A fantasy render, used 2 terrains, a cloud slab, the tree was a free item re-textured.
adbc - not just a fantasy render also a fantastic render.
Adbc - I agree with Horo, a fantastic fantasy, awesome POV
Horo, mermaid : thank you.
adbc, Very nice fantasy landscape.
The terrain is from High Resolution Terrains 2 with a material from High Resolution Terrains 3. The moon is a sphere with my own material. Sky and ambient light by an HDRI and the key light by the sun.
adbc:
- A cool "2 tori" abstract. It reminds me of sorta plant.
- A beautiful and powerful fantasy scene. Great mats!
Horo:
- Great coast line scene. Nice touch with those birds.
- Well done "rusty planet". Wonderful terrains, lighting/atmosphere and mats!
Hansmar, hubert : thank you.
Horo : fantastic "desolate world", the terrain and materials are in harmony with the sky
Thank you hubert and adbc.
Nice scene! Mars expedition, maybe.
Horo - superb "Desolate world", the terrain, materials and lighting are perfect.
Past as Future - thank you. Well, Mars has not such a big moon.
mermaid - thank you.
The terrain is from High Resolution Terrains 2, the material from High Resolution Terrains 3. Sky and ambient light by the ErmClouds01 HDRI from Grand Mountains and the key light by the sun.
Horo, some great looking landscapes you posted.
The ones below were earlier posted in the wrong thread. Landscapes, based on the tiled terrain that I got somewhere. They have a cloud slab by David Brinnen, but modified by me.
Two new terrains, with the heigth map, based on a blurry photo from lights, made black and white first and then modified. The first one has a rain cube by David Brinnen and Horo and the next one a snow cube by the same artists. I modified both a bit.
Next two renders of a mammoth bulldozing through the woods. Partly inspired by a much more impressive render of another artist in the Contest on majestic animals. The mammoth and the fawn are from DAZ the plants from Bryce and the berries (do you see them?) free from Renderosity.
adbc, love that abstract. It has a different look to it that is appealing. Like an ant looking up a plant stalk.
Horo, your 'moon walk' image is amazing in its detailing...wow.
Hansmar, really like the craggy terrains.
Horo : again a fantastic landscape, great atmosphere, I like the material on the terrain.
Hansmar : your four new renders are awesome, the ones with the mammoths have my preference.
NGartplay : thank you. Glad to see you again !
Hansmar - thank you. Good to have not to look for fish anymore I like the one with the camera nearer to the water more.
The terrains with the rain look very nice, I find it always difficult to get the rain right - either it appears too bright or it can hardly be seen. The two with the mammoths and deers look very nice with this vegetation.
NGartplay - thank you. Nice to see you back.
adbc - thank you.
Horo – another outstanding render Harsh Mountains.
Hansmar – all your renders are superb, any one of the mammoth ones would make an awesome entry in the current challenge; even if there is a mammoth entry already.
I had this Bugatti Veyron model – a freebie; in my flies for a long time, trying to texture it but in vain, I remembered Horo’s HoloMotor and tried something similar yet different using an Hdri from Deep Space 2.
mermaid - thank you. Bugatti Veyron model is excellently presented.
The buildings are from Le Faubourg by Faveral. The lights in the houses and on the street were created with 37 radials (8-1/2 years ago). Sky and a tad of ambient light by an HDRI. No additional lights. All residents are at supper.
Horo - thanks. A very peaceful town scene, awesome lighting.
mermaid : awesome shining Bugatti, beautiful background.
Horo : wonderful city scene, great lighting.
A different world. Vegetation aloe plants by LalylReyna from sketchfab
the batiscaf is from herminio nieves.
