Hansmar - thank you. Indeed, negative lights can be very helful, I also used the sometimes for an HDRI.
Double stacked terrain with adjusted materials. Sky and ambient light from the Sky Toolbox.
Hansmar - thanks
Horo - a superb render, lighting and materials are perfect.
Thanks for any missed comments
Another flood of great renders from everyone
another version of rider in the rocks
adbc, the trees in your winter scene are so cool...gnarly. The snow looks real...windswept.
Horo, glorious sky and realistic terrain. It looks western USA, Grand Canyon.
Spuddy, did you call Horo before you made you picture? Both have that western terrain look and feel. I really like the cowboy and horse set in that perfect western landscape.
mermaid - thank you.
spuddy - thank you. Very well done scene with the rider in the rocks.
NGartplay - thank you.
Horo : wonderful render, great materials and awesome sky.
spuddy : thank you. Beautiful new version of the rider in the rocks.

A scifi scene, using a portal, free from Sketchup (Miliona), the bot is also a free item.
adbc - thank you. Great sci-fi scene.

adbc, I am a fan of sci-fi. Excellent render
Horo, mermaid, NGartplay : thank you.
A winter scene using elements from https://www.daz3d.com/winter-in-the-lake
mermaid - not something I'm looking forward to, but it will come nonetheless . Very beautiful winter scene, I like the haze and how it is lit.
mermaid, I thought that you used a photograph...amazing.
mermaid : excellent landscape, the effect of the haze and the lighting are very well done.
The objects are from Odd World with materials from the 50 Metals The Treppenhalle Set and stand on a shadow capture from Hyper Textures Expansion, behind a vertical shadow capture. Light by an HDRI.
Thanks Horo, NGartplay and Adbc for the nice comments
Horo - interesting result, I like the vivid colors.
Horo, I feel like I'm in a surrealist painting. Very good lighting and the objects are cool.
Thank you mermaid and NGartplay.
Horo : surreal, beautiful composition, great colours and shadows.
A fantasy landscape, all Bryce, free HDRI adapted.
adbc - thank you. Impressing scene, dramatic light and colour.
Horo:
- Great "double stacked terrain" landscape. Material and sky fit well to it.
- An "Odd World" indeed. I love its lighting and the coloring.
spuddy:
Wonderful composition, mat and lighting in your "rider in the rocks" image.
adbc:
- A fantastic SciFi scene. Very cool mats!
- A fascinating and very moody "fantasy landscape".
Mermaid:
Winter is coming! A wonderfully done scenery with great atmosphere.
Thank you hubert.
Horo, wonderful landscape and very great abstract with the wonderful Odd World items.
Spudde, that is another great take on the landscape with rider. Such a realistic rocky desert landscape.
Mermaid, wow, that is a very cold-looking environment. Great work with the haze or fog and rocks.
adbc Great use of that HDRI to get a very spectacular and colourful sci-fi render.
adbc, wow, gorgeous landscape.
adbc, wow, gorgeous landscape.
Thank you Hansmar.
Horo, hubert, Hansmar, NGartplay : thank you.
Double stacked terrain. The water is also a terrain and below it the ground plane with another water material - this took a while to render.
Horo, the water is amazing....so pretty.
