adbc, adorable, fantasy render. The plants fit the theme perfectly.
adbc - this came out beautiful, the strange plants are very nicely presented.
NGartplay, Horo : thank you.
Wow, I suddenly noticed that we can now search the forums! How long has this been? I can't remember seeing it before.
I think it is a wonderful addition to the site!
Thanks
adbc great fantasy render
playing with NGartplay strange plants
Thanks
adbc great fantasy render
playing with NGartplay strange plants so thanks NG
Spuddy, so beautiful. I love the material on the flower petals. What is the ground? Is that water, oil or a solid?
spuddy : Magic render, the use of the strange plants is fantastic, great materials and composition.
thanks NGartplay and adbc...the material can be whatever you want ....it does look liquid
mats used ....ground mab varient from pro mats second one down on the left adjusted for terrain

Glad to see you back! Best wishes to you! And nice abstracts here :)
spuddy - really great looking what you did with the strange plants.
The plant objects are together with the camera within a sphere with some diffuse, reflection and transparency as well as bump by a texture. Light and colour by an HDRI within the sphere (HDRI from inside).
As promised, here is render of that spider tech thing (the one I used for scene in Majestic Animals thread).
I constructed it while following tutorial by Steve "LordOfTheDragons" Winter, available on his channel.
Nice exercise to do if you are into boolean modelling.
And here is close up view, as well.
Horo, so lovely. It looks like an underwater dome with plants inside and out. The colors you chose are beautiful.
Past as future, that spider if fabulous. I've never modeled with booleans. I've tried, I should say, but never finished anything with them. Well done.
Thanks everyone for the nice comments.
Beautiful abstract using NGartplay's strange plants by Adbc, Spuddy and Horo
Awesome modeling Past as Future, thanks for the link.
Past as Future - really great models. Needs some patience to model such detailed objects.
NGartplay - thank you - and thank you again for the models.
Thank you mermaid.
Horo : cool idea and very well done, beautiful floating strange plants, great colours.
Past as Future : you have great modeling skills, that spider is awesome.
mermaid : thank you.
NGartplay, mermaid010, Horo, adbc - thank you for kind words.
Thank you adbc.
spuddy:
Wonderful otherworldly spelunking. I love the coloring, lighting and that strange amber liquid.
Horo:
Well put into scene. Beautiful lighting, cool mats and reflections.
Past as Future:
That spider looks fantastic. Impressive Bryce modeling!
Thank you hubert.
hubert - thanks, but I just followed tutorial by legendary Steve Winter (lordofthedragons at Rendo).
mermaid - what a beautiful coloured spiral shaped object.
mermaid : fantastic colourful spiral object.
The terrain was self made and given materials from Terrain Stacking" und Landscapes under Fantastic Skies and for the plain from Vegetation. The sky is from the Sky Toolbox Expansion 1 with the inherent SkySC11 HDRI for the ambient light, the key light by the sun.
Mermaid, so beautiful. Love the spiraling colors. Is that the sky in the background?
Horo, another realistic landscape. You are a master at these. Great work.
Thanks Horo, Adbc and NGartplay
NGartplay I don't remember much about how I did the abstract... it was a grab from my Pinterest account. Hopefully I'll have a laptop soon, either a new one with Windows 11 which I'm dreading or a new motherboard for my old Windows 7. For now I'm grabbing old ones to share something.
Horo another outstanding landscape, amazing work.
Mermaid: Cool spiral and pretty mat/coloring.
Horo: An impressive terrain! Looks like heavy erosion. Great mat and lighting too.
Horo : very natural looking landscape, beautiful sky and materials.
A bit of a fantasy/cartoon image, 4 terrains, the character (Vivi) was free from Sketchfab by Antoine Dupuis.
NGartplay, mermaid, hubert - thank you.
adbc - thank you. Great fantasy/cartoon image. That's a cute chap standing there.
