A couple of concepts for Mandos, the girl being based slightly on Sabine from Rebels
Pretty good kitbash.
The Informant
Some update on the small details, Gun, landing grear and endgen. Breaking out the interior too so I can work inside. I think I'll make the hull a flat texture, so I can personilize the paint job easier. And all my stuff is poser first the converted to Daz after, its just my work flow.
That looks AMAZING! Can't wait to take her out for a spin!
Awesome.
Also, not to sound naive, whenever these are finished (The Mandalorian Series models), where can we pick them up? I feel like I may have missed something obvious. THANK YOU!
There is a new Tie Fighter model released today for free over at Artstation by Oleg Ushenok - https://www.artstation.com/marketplace/p/lVe1
Formats are - OBJ, FBX & MAX
New prop for my razor crest, work in progress...
I plan on posting to sharecg. I think Duda was in the same mindset.
Awesome - I have an account there. We all APPRECIATE what you are doing!!!!!
"I can bring you in quiet, or I can bring you in dead."
Jar Jar steps into the Carbon Freeze.
@rduda : What are your thoughts on the already circulating meme with The Child in carbonite captioned "Mandalorian Daycare" ?
I'll admit it made me laugh, but I am not sure if people will take kindly to it. (Is that Speeder Bike Pilot who punched The Child still alive?)
Special thanks to you and @JoeQuick for all your work on these and willingness to share!
Awesome.
Final Bogey
Nice! I like the depth-of-field - that's something I'm always forgetting to do in my own renders - and the reflection in the TIE canopy is awesome.
The only nitpick I can make is the title - a "bogey" is an unknown contact. That's pretty clearly a "bandit" - a known hostile contact! But "Final Bandit" would imply all sorts of other things about the image, so "bogey" is probably better after all.
So... I guess I don't have any nitpicks to make at all. Well done!
I'm glad you like it. I actually did the depth of field in postwork, uding the blur tool. I haven't mastered it in Daz yet. The reflection was done on purpose despite it adding to render time. Your right about the term "bogey", I just couldn't think of a better term that most people would understand.
Just picked up the new Mountains of Altair https://www.daz3d.com/epic-environments--mountains-of-altair and couldn't resist trying it out
Cool I bought that set Nice to see how well it works
Very nice render
Looks Awesome
Nice.
Introducing the Lords of Korriban
And a kitbashed Rebel Pilot
Are these Sith from the Legends timeline? I see what you did with the Rebel suite. Nice.
While I'd say I'm more of a fan of the Legends timeline then the Rey Trilogy, especially when it comes to the treatment of the original 3 characters, I'm not beyond playing with characters that appear as "cannon" i.e. Leia becoming a Jedi Master but still having Rey as a padawan, but also having Luke establish an NJO and resurecting characters like Kyle Katarn
The reason I asked is because you used the name Korriban. In official cannon (Star Wars the Clone Wars cartoon), it was changed to Morriban. I wasn't sure if you knew that. I still play in the legends timeline from time to time. I did a Mara Jade image a while back.
I did not know that. Had to look at it. I see it was George Lucas who actually changed it to Moraband. I have to say, Korriban sounds better for me, maybe because i'm used to it of playing SWTOR.
I use to play SWTOR too and I played KOTOR before it, so I'm use to Korriban as well. I was quite surprised when I saw that episode. I have no I idea why George changed it.
Same, I wasnt aware of the change
It's in the 6th season of the Clone Wars series. That was the season that aired on Netflix after Disney baught Lucas' properties (not to be confused with the 7th and final season that just released on Disney+). It's in a episode involving Yoda. I'll say no more. Only someone like you or me would notice. My kids had no idea until I explained it to them. If you have Disney+, I would recoomend watching the enitire series as there are a few changes from what SWTOR established. The 1st season isn't that great. It gets better from season to season. Also, there are references in "The Manadalorian" to that series as well as Star Wars Rebels. Rebels was a good series, but you should watch Clone Wars 1st. Dave Filoni has worked on Clone Wars, Rebels, and The Mandalorian. Dave is basically George's apprentice. He trained directly under George during the Clone Wars series.
I'd say this is more Star Wars inspired, but thought some people watching this thread might find the image interesting. If your interested, there is more infor on what was used in my gallery (here).
It has a Star Wars feel to it. I have those creatures on my wish list for Star Wars renders myself. Don't know when I'll actually buy them LOL.
