Here's a little something different from me, I really had a struggle with this particular HDRI and trying to get something that looked decent from it but I didn't think this car looked right in daylight. Now I see that I missed some flipped normals so I may redo this one sometime.
Anyway here is a Batmobile "The Tumbler"
1937 Cord 812 Charged Beverly sedan: The last car in the Thirties section.

I have that background but never loaded it. I have been wondering how a night time render will look, but been afraid to approach it...lol. This looks pretty good and I know that black tumbler at night...whew...that's a toughy!
Thanks for the comments on my renders. I still like your 70 Chevelle best. Also your 40 Ford coupe on the dock.

This is my favorite site of them all. Got a real nice 1956 Pontiac Safari nomad wagon in the 50s section, also a nice 56 Chevy nomad.
:-)
Nice render, but I don't know how you got so much enviroment in the render. Did you use Daz Studio?
Cheers, and I like your second one much more. My render was in DAZ with no PP and all at original size.
Unrealistic scaling will always cause issues and I would have been inclined to produce a box the correct size of the original car, as a reference, and scale the model to it.
The way the DAZ cameras work is they introduce parallax relative to a conventional camera lens. The Yosemite domes seem to be well matched to that parallax effect. This being the case, when I said your car looked 10' tall, in the DAZ virtual world it probably was, or bigger. It might even have looked big with no background at all, just down to parallax.
The other advantage of keeping everything at real size is you can make a decision about where your photographer is standing. Unless, he bought along a tower (unlikely out in Yosemite) you can limit your camera hight pretty much to somewhere between 300mm and 1800mm above the ground.
People look at renders and think "Is it real or not?" The more "real" you approach a render the less likely you are to leave tell tales which let them know it isn't real.
The second one did turn out pretty good. Thanks for the help and info on parallax and scaleing.

This one is a four-door 300 that is also a transformer:

There are many many more. Sketchup has a few in the warehouse too.

1970 Chevelle SS 396...one of my favorite all time muscle cars. This is the color I would have too...lol.
:-)
1932 Ford Roadster. I did this one using a simple backplate and the shadow catcher.

1951 Chevy Pickup. I did this render using the cyclorama and a Hobobo mat. Then I duplicated the cyclorama and spun it 180 degrees to give the truck something to reflect back. Uber lighting with a single distant light for shadow. Render took about 45 minutes...long one.
:-)
Hullo?......crickets!

1969 Ford Mustang Boss 302...Acapulco Blue. Did this render for a friend who has this exact car. Put it on the beach just outside his house. He was exstatic! Merry Christmas Jim!

Nice scene!

This is a Mustang pickup that Usherstang created. He calls it the "Stallion". I worked on it a while last night and patched up holes and filled in missing polys, then smoothed it and made an .obj file for it. This is a Daz 3 render of it so far. His model, his colors.
:-)
Thought I would share this link that was sent to me
