    I never end up with just the right amount in the cart when there's a "get $20 free DOs" (or whatever amount.) So instead of losing out on about $7 (for all those ~13.00 items) I go over the free amount. But I'm happy as it ends up being 80%. Here's the two DOs I got. 

    The morphs for Teen Raven 8 gives me a lot of characters for $3.97  Take a look at that one if you don't have it. 

    Helena has really bushy eyebrows which are a bit too much for my preferences,  but from a distance will be okay, or even in a group of people that would add to the variety of looks. 

    So what are you folks getting with your $20 of free DOs?

    I just got https://www.daz3d.com/callan-hd-for-genesis-8-male, for free!!  But then thought- does that mean that the PA s who made him get nothing?

    He's a DO so the PAs will have already been paid all they are getting! (I presume)

    ETA: Good choice though - I'm rather fond of Callan.

    I picked up Modern Ballroom and The Chairman HD Outfit Textures. (I don't buy textures often, but I rather liked these. And I've been wanting chairs like those in the ballroom product for many years. Very happy to get them for free!)

    I also picked up some products in Fast Grab with the 20% off coupon.

    I got Matilda Hair for G8F. It was on my wishlist and was something you reviewed and recommended here.

    My guess for why the $20 is limited to PC+ members is so that people can't create 100 accounts and get $2000 worth of free stuff.

    I tried to get the dForce Big Cat 2 Hair free and it didn't work so I went back and reread the offer and it's sort of implied but did not directly state that you must be a PC+ member to get the $20 Free of DAZ products. It's sort of a shame because I was buying from Zygote before they split their business to make Zygote and DAZ. Nethertheless, the odd occasional promotion like a 20 year anniversary to get $20 is not enough to get me to set a reminder on my iPhone for January 2040 to buy PC+ membership so I can get $40 of free DAZ product.  laugh

    Yeah, it's not written very clearly. But I kinda assumed that it's for PC+ members only because otherwise it would have almost been too good to be true.

    Sometimes offers that are supposed to be for PC+ members only work for everybody though, so it's worth checking! wink Not this time though.

    Well, in 2030 maybe they'll go a 30 year anniversary for a $30 one....

    Callan looks rugged, great choice!  If you do a render, feel free to post if you'd like.  Happy New Year to you, too.

    I was looking for a good beach set for a scene I’m working on, but then I saw the Sword of Time outfit. I've got a number of Legend of Zelda-themed renders planned, and Sword of Time includes legally distinct facsimiles of the Master Sword and Hylian shield.

    Want to point out the Squish Morphs are for different parts of the body, when I looked at it quickly I thought it was just a glutes type thing. Another nice note- it has six poses which go really well with the squished parts of the body. Six for G8 and six for V8.  They are in the 70% off promo for $5.98 (with new release from today)

    Also note there is a Mousso bundle in Fast Grab which has an outfit, character, and hair. Are the codes from yesterday still valid? Tested, and they do not work twice.

    A weird thing happens for me with the morph fast grab items. Zev0 and DiscoBob's Skin Folds & Creases appears in the carousel, then when I go to view all the items, it shows briefly and then disappears along with all the items I own, even though I don't own that particular item. I've tested it in my cart, and it discounts just like it should.

    Unfortunately there are no male squish morphs, so there's little point if I can only squish half the inhabitants of my runtime...

    That sounds like the behavior of products that have been hidden using the Daz Deals plugin…

    I've got a couple fun tips for you today. 

    Helena HD (Gen8F)  I replaced the brows, and changed the lips by adding metallicity and increasing the reflectivity. (done in Surfaces)  Her mouth seemed really dry and flat to me. The lips are also a color I made in the diffuse of the lips. Her mouth poses really well. This is with the medium transluscency and medium shine options.

    Pandora Hair  (Gen3F / Gen8F)  Is SO versatile. If you don't have it, I'd wishlist it. Can be retro/vintage style, Greek goddess, chic. A lot of colors to choose from too. The hair is designed so you can change the diffuse color and easily create your own color. I added red and changed the highlights to an auburn so the hair wouldn't be a brown brunette, it has a tint of red to go more with the eyebrows.

    Leah Candy Dress Outfit (G8F)   It has a lot of morphs, and you can make the dress longer or shorter (any shorter and she won't be sitting down, that's for sure.)   The front is pretty low cut but I didn't mess with any morphs to see if it could be tweaked. Many pretty materials, and the jewelry is really nice.

    iRadiance Crystal- Sparkle Rich HDRIs   Make fun backgrounds and lighting, but the backgrounds are overwhelming IMO. So a quick fix:

    TIP 1:  Create a 12 foot plane (Go up to Create-Primitive-Plane)  Then X Rotate it 90 degrees. With the plane selected, go in to Surfaces and turn down the Cutout Opacity to around .65 and now you have a dimmer crystal background.

    TIP 2:  Now, if you want to have regular lighting (and not blue, purple, etc)  Go to the Render Pane into Tone Mapping, and in White Point select a VERY LIGHT color that matches the hue of the lighting cast by the crystals. In my case, a very light purple. Remember, anything you put in Light Point takes that color "out" so to speak. So I removed the purple hue from the lighting. NEXT, go to Saturation and turn it up to about 1.15 to 1.20  because the plane interferes with the light a bit and you may want to see if increasing the saturation works on the character you are using. It may be different for various characters. 

    And don't forget Vignetting!  These have 28.31 so the edges are a bit darker. I like that with the crystals. So below you have with and without the purple in the tone mapping White Point setting. The plane is in place for both to dull the background.  Have fun!

    Yesterdat I got tactical outfit . I looked so cool I couldn't help myself even though some items that I had in my wishlist were available and the outfit wasn't in my outfit.

    Today I got 200 head morphs, Shape-Shift Bundle, Tongue Control and Growing Up Bundle. I want to mention that I didn't use the 20% discount yesterday but I used it today with this purchase and it worked.

    The Lost Lagoon Bundle looks really cool, I'm sorry I didn't check it before I made my 20% discounted purchase.

    I saw the name and thought it would be a location or someting, didn't expect to be such a cool bundle.

    I'll tell you a funny story. At the time, this was a really cool surprise. (Keep in mind it was years ago.)

    So the product looked like a big, plain building. Then I happened to venture around a building and found a waterfront area with a little dock, an iron gated waterway, and a lighthouse! I posted it and six or seven people bought it on the spot because the main promo is SO misleading with the image. But I noticed it said Lagoona BAY. Just looks like a building, not a waterfront scene. Now looking at what we've done with modeling, texturing, and Iray, that set is a bit... outdated. But take a look at what's in the product compared to just the main promo. (Many folks didn't go to the thumbnails.)  You get a little plaza with streetlights, a lighthouse, etc. So funny!  So look at The Priory
