    Sales percentages aren't additive. You get 20% off from the first item. The 36% from the second item is calculated over the sum after the first item, so it's 36% off 80% of the original price.

    I know they aren't additive but it says first get 20% off if you buy a new item.

    That would mean that you get 20% off from the 80% of the original price (The items are already at 80% of the original price with or without a new item, that is their discount).

    Afterwards they say if you get 2 items, you get an additional 36% off. In my mind that is 36% off from the price calculated above.

    I double-checked the wording. It does look like it's 36 INSTEAD OF 20% for the second new item added.

    Test: item from the featured artist stores.

    Original price 16,95. Advertised at 13,56, 20% off.

    Add one new item in cart: price goes to 10.85, which is 36% off the original price: 16,95*.8*.8. So far so good.

    Add a second new item to the cart: price goes to 8.68, which is 49% off the original price: 16,95*.8*.64.

    Yep, the 36 replaces the 20.

    But yeah, the wording is ambiguous.

    Thanks, I didn't think to try with one new item, I had tested with just 2 new items and I saw it wasn't the expected percentage. so the 2nd new item brings an additional 20% from the already reduced price, but in total only 36% from the price of the product. And because that is already discounted it amounts to 49% from the original price.

    Ok, I decided to give in (sigh :( ) and buy 2 bundles 7 Pro. Since I started with Gen8 already available, I have only Victoria 7 bundle. At first I didn't want to get them since they are "old" but with all the new converters from G3 to G8 I figure it would be worth it.

    I am thinking I will get the Centaur 7 Female (more for the Girls and the Hairstyles than the Centaur part) but I am not sure about the second one.

    I am in between Ophelia, Genevieve, Mei Lin and Olympia. Any advice and/or opinions?

    Also, for anyone interested, I think I was right about the Featured Artist price, I am now getting 59% off.

    This means Item price * 0.8 (Original discount) * 0.8 (20% for 1 new item) * 0.64 (36% for 2 new items).

    @Novica are you still showing the depth shaders at 8.68 with 2 new releases?  I am getting 61% on new releases with 2 in the cart and when I add the depth shader I am getting 49% on them which is 9.70. In my test cart I have CB Genevieve, Modern Dance poses and Marshians Depth Shaders

     Yes, this is what happens if I do that cart. But 49% should be $8.68 and you're saying the Depth Shaders are showing $9.70 and 49%?

    @kharma   You do know it's ANY new release? You don't have to do two from the new releases of today.  This was my actual cart. I got PC+ new releases.

    Sorry, totally my error, I was putting into the cart Depth lighting not depth shaders, I was doing this at 430 am my time, and never verified the names of the products when reviewing my cart after seeing what others were getting for prices.  That will teach me to shop when I am dead tired but can't sleep lol

    I have no idea why Pro Bundles would lower the price on the Marshian product.  I put Genevieve and Mage Apprentice in the cart with the Depth Shaders and still only get 49%.

    Final image posted in my gallery.   I added an emissive light in the front to lighten her up although this killed out much of the blue.  Two rim lights a gold and blue.  Lightened the stars just a bit.  Used mesh grabber to bring in the waist some more. Have I mentioned I love this tool? I find I am using it all the time for various things.

    I'm jaded. It's an ok sale but not a great sale unless you need it for some immediate project.

    I'm not jaded, but when I look at what's left of my store credit, I realize there isn't much I want bad enough to spend it on right now. lol Funny how one's perspective of "need" changes when the disposible income drys up!

    Linday and Aeon Soul Blink  60% sale goes to Emma and Jordi, but I'm finding all the banners go to the same page, or at least quite a few do. I haven't checked them all out. I wish they wouldn't do that.

    BTW I am rendering American Kitchen and Living from Tesla, who is in the sale. There's a lot to that set (many rooms) so take a peek while I render. The lighting in the set is provided and if you aren't good at setting up indoor renders with few windows, you'd probably really like this particular set. Will post in about ten minutes (at least some of them.)

    American Living And Dining
    On sale 60% off in the Tesla sale.  The lighting is good and you get 12 (or more) camera angles, you'll need to tilt the camera down IMO as most are looking for the top down a bit too much for my personal tastes. I also pulled the camera back a bit. So all this is alreadly set up for you. Anyone else have some Tesla renders, feel free to post. 

    See the windowsill error renders here. They poke through the curtains which is just plain sloppy, and no QA obviously. (quality assurance, aka Daz just slid this right through.)  TIP: The solution- put the window sill Cutout Opacity to zero in Surfaces. The window frame/ sill  will be in whichever wall in the Scene tab, but listed individually in Surfaces.

    @spuffy  How adorable!  I hope you got photos from 10th grade.
    @TabascoJack  March 6th and March 16th (my anniversary) are pretty close. We had blustery weather the next day and I was SO glad it wasn't on our wedding day as it was a very windy, overcast day that next day. About 15 degrees colder than the wedding day.

    The Tesla rooms look very well lit. I noticed a couple strange things. The living room chandelier has bare bulbs, and the windowsills cut through the curtains in living room and dining room. Is that the way the product loads? I see the bare bulbs in the promo images, but the promo curtains look OK.

    I'm just broken hearted about the Koala situation in Australia- 95% ARE GONE. This fire has killed 1/3 of the Koalas and I don't know if that 95% even includes this latest catastrophe. Accuweather has a wonderful page which links how to help these amazing creatures and also the firefighters. Please spread the word, many people donating small amounts is just as effective as one person donating a lot.  I did my student teaching in Sydney, Australia (New South Wales, which is burning) and the Aussies are the nicest people!
