The Lost Lagoon Bundle looks really cool, I'm sorry I didn't check it before I made my 20% discounted purchase.

I saw the name and thought it would be a location or someting, didn't expect to be such a cool bundle.

I'll tell you a funny story. At the time, this was a really cool surprise. (Keep in mind it was years ago.)

So the product looked like a big, plain building. Then I happened to venture around a building and found a waterfront area with a little dock, an iron gated waterway, and a lighthouse! I posted it and six or seven people bought it on the spot because the main promo is SO misleading with the image. But I noticed it said Lagoona BAY. Just looks like a building, not a waterfront scene. Now looking at what we've done with modeling, texturing, and Iray, that set is a bit... outdated. But take a look at what's in the product compared to just the main promo. (Many folks didn't go to the thumbnails.)  You get a little plaza with streetlights, a lighthouse, etc. So funny!  So look at The Priory

Even the second picture would have been better :). I also would not have gone to see the details from just the main plain building.

Especially nowadays when we get hundreds, sometimes maybe thousands of products on offers you can't go look at all of them into detail, you need to be able to judge the product content just from image (sometimes I don't even read the title if the image doesn't catch my eyes).

That's why In submitted a ticket to Daz about adding a filter for product type. It's weird that you can filter by Genre but not by product type.

    More filters would be AWESOME!!!!

Novica, I am remiss. It seems everytime I have looked at your thread, I have been in a place and on a device that is terrible to type on. So, may I say that I think the picture of your mother and you is simply lovely.

Funny about birthdates, on 4 February this year, if she had lived, my mother would have been 100.

My wishes to you and everyone who participates on your thread, that they and their families have health, happiness, and wealth in 2020 and in the coming years. You all are so gracious with your gifts of knowledge and skills to those of us that stumble into this hobby.

Point in fact, Novica, it is through your thread that I bought The Priory. Wonderful set and with the 3Delight to Iray conversions, so many older sets are now even more flexible for use.

    Thanks,

    Mary

A weird thing happens for me with the morph fast grab items. Zev0 and DiscoBob's Skin Folds & Creases appears in the carousel, then when I go to view all the items, it shows briefly and then disappears along with all the items I own, even though I don't own that particular item. I've tested it in my cart, and it discounts just like it should.

That sounds like the behavior of products that have been hidden using the Daz Deals plugin…

Interesting. Does the plugin randomly hide items? I definitely wouldn't have hidden that deliberately.

    No it shouldn't. Very curious.

Thought I'd mention this to you coffee drinkers. The Best Buy Deal of the Day is the Keurig Coffee/Espresso Maker and it's 100.00 off. (TODAY ONLY)  I just bought one for my husband's Christmas present, he couldn't decide what he wanted and he really grinned when this was mentioned. He just started a new job at Eglin Air Force Base for the Joint Chief of Staffs and his office doesn't have their own coffee maker. He's sure gonna be popular!  His job at Pensacola NAS was advertised as analytical but it wasn't, and he's an Operations Research Analyst. So he's the lead analyst now and delighted to dive back in. We kid about warm and fuzzy artistic marrying analytical and geek, but we're going on 28 years this March.

So how long have you been / were married, and what's your anniversary? Let's see who has dates close to each other. Mine is March 16, day before St Patrick's Day.

I'm single, and considering the examples of marrige/long term romantic relationships I've observed first hand, I think I'll stay that way. Maybe get dog at some point if I get lonely.

You'd have to click on the big blue button on the product page to hide it. When you do, the button changes to an Unhide button without reloading the page, so it is conceivable one might click on it unintentionally and not realize it. I know I've had pages shift on me when there was a purple banner. I don't think I've hidden any products I didn't want to hide, but I know I've opened the wrong product page from a listing when it jumped the same time I clicked.

June 18th.  37 1/2 years now. I think I might keep him. Still analyzing the situation and our compatibility; I should have the results in another decade or two.

It would be too darn hard to start over after you've put so much effort into training that one.

PTF Party Lights-Im still on the fence about this light set.  It has some interesting settings though so I am going to play more with them.  I chose one that had color to it to see how it looked, little dark on the default for me.  The background is the hdri; the stars cutout are included also- for them I added the template to a floor plane that is included in the set.  I originally had added the included set that had the back and floor but decided I didnt like the stars on the floor so I deleted it then added the 2 planes.   The floor plane is the setting for soft reflection with metallic flakes applied.  There are several settings that can be applied like refraction, emission and metallic flakes among others.  (These I believe can be used as a quick link for adding these in fast, I did use the metallic flakes on the fingernails).

Sahel HD -She is stunning. The details are awesome.  The only complaint is makeup options but there are always ways around that.  I tried using the metallic makeup with this but it was to much so I changed it.

dForce Alina Outfit-Not my favorite.  I picked this up in one of the deals going on so I cannot complain concidering what I paid. But The waist sits to loose. I had to do some adjustments even after using dForce and a wind node.  I had to use Mesh Gabber on a few poke through and the left sleeve because for some reason the top ruffle was inbedded in the bottom ruffle. The belt is to loose also.  I plan on getting in there with the mesh grabber and doing some more adjustments but for this review I wanted to be as close to the original as possible.  Also the ruffle textures are made a little more see through than the original for this picture.

Kinley Hair with dforce-I really like this hair it has many adjustment options but they are all separate so if you want to do both the left and right tail say thicker you have to do each one instead of one dial for both; not to bad but kind of a pain if your a dial spinner like I am. I did have a little trouble getting the tails to go back and be closer to where I wanted them to be when I ran the simulations. I wish the bangs had a little more movement with the wind node.  Honestly though that could be the user ;) because I am still fiddling my way around dforce and this is my first time trying to do a wind node.  The color of the hair has a couple of options this one is ash blonde with blue tips.  It looks to gray to me and the base node has a grey-greenish? color plugged into it.  So I will have to see what it looks like under different lighting.

No postwork on the image except to save as jpg.

I have a Keurig K145 and love it. I don't really want/need the espresso cabability anyway.. I got it 4 years ago and I think Keurig has discontinued making it  The price now is about $100 more than I paid for it.

Married 52 years - 14 March  So, dates are not very close, especially since months don't have anywhere near 50+ days.

Opinions and/or advice for the new offers?

Well, if you acted fast, Tesla was going 68% off for a short time. I didn't get the word because I wasn't online (just checking in before I head to bed at 6:30am, still off schedule.)
CB Genevieve is one I like-  you get an additional 20% off so she is 61% off and $7.43  if you buy ANY two new releases.

(Edited it because the extra 20% off for DOs for PC+ members does NOT work on new releases. So you only get ONE 20% off and that is when you buy two new releases of any kind)

Edit- also, note that while that 36% sounds great for the featured stores if you buy ANY two new releases, it really IS NOT. The stores are only discounted 20% so you end up with only 49% off the featured stores. You can do better than that usually. One I am going to get because I am tired of messing with depth of field is Marshian's Depth Shaders.  Even though it's only 49% off, what a time saver!  $8.68  with those two new releases (ANY two.)

For me Genevieve is still 9.29$. (I am PC+). It goes to 7.43 if I add another new item.

Edit: Just saw myself that it says:

    * Excludes New Releases, PC+ Items, Gift Cards, and Memberships. for the 20% off

You should get 56% off Featured Artist with 2 new releases. 20% from first item and an EXTRA 36% if 2 or more. You think they meant 36% instead of the 20%?

Buy any New Release to get an EXTRA 20% OFF¥* Featured Artist Stores

Buy any 2 or more New Releases to get an EXTRA 36% OFF* Featured Artist Stores

Sales percentages aren't additive. You get 20% off from the first item. The 36% from the second item is calculated over the sum after the first item, so it's 36% off 80% of the original price.

I know they aren't additive but it says first get 20% off if you buy a new item.

That would mean that you get 20% off from the 80% of the original price (The items are already at 80% of the original price with or without a new item, that is their discount).

Afterwards they say if you get 2 items, you get an additional 36% off. In my mind that is 36% off from the price calculated above.
