Did anyone buy Branca, by ElaineCK?  I just bought her and don't see a figure file for her.  I'm wondering if it was not included in her download.  If someone bought her could you please check and see if it was included in your download file?  Also, I'm wondering if anyone might post some renders of her.

    Thank you!

Yes the file is missing from smart content.

Get Well Soon for your mother. It's quite nice to see her smiling so happily. I hope she has the wellness so that she can be taken on a wheelchair tour outside on nursing home grounds with your dog frequently.

A high school friend's older brother got it about two weeks ago and still has it but is recovering. I had a PCR DNA covid-19 test done last Thursaday in spite of no symptoms or known exposures and it was negative. It's definately spreading and there is nothing that can be done to stop it from doing so.

Thank you everyone. My sister from Jacksonville FaceTimed her at 3pm this afternoon (Central, so almost two hours ago) and they chatted for 15 minutes. The nurses have a tablet just for the COVID unit so the families can chat. Mom was very upbeat and said the nurses were wonderful. So she had a good day, not crying and depressed. :)

That is good to hear. Is she feeling pretty OK then? Not too many symptoms?

Novica, I've been praying for your mom every time I think of it.  So glad to hear she is upbeat!  Attitude helps a lot with illness!

Re symptoms- with the elderly, it has been increasingly hard for the staff to know the difference in depression and the virus. I discussed this in detail with the social worker and the activities gal, Jennifer. When I was on the phone with Mom through the glass patio door, I told Jennifer Mom was distracted and confused. She said she was just depressed, and I disagreed. Mom wasn't focused- staring, not blinking, and not on the topics I was discussing. Then she got focused. So the confusion comes and goes, it's not steady.

What I loved was when Ci Pwff came in with that huge wagging tail, Mom really brightened. No talking necessary, just hugs :)  So that was Tuesday morning. Thursday, poor Jennifer was in the room with mom for AN HOUR and left at 3:30. At 4:11pm I got the call about the positive test results. I immediately called Jennifer so she'd know right away, (I had her cell number)  and wouldn't be out and about that evening. (She wouldn't have been told until the next morning, in all likelihood.)

So far as symptoms, on Wednesday she had upset stomach and then vomited. That was the only symptom other than being confused off and on. We're going to keep her spirits up with FaceTiming, I will take Pwff back over there Tuesday hopefully. I have to call Jennifer Monday. They put Mom in a room that was on the outside, facing the parking lot, knowing I was going to be coming regularly. How sweet!  She has a private room. You know, she's probably safer there than back in her room with a room mate, although I don't think they'd put someone back in there with her (I made my opinion quite clear about people coming and going as roomies during a virus outbreak.)

    I'll keep you posted :)

Smart moves on your part. Having her by herself and able to see you is good for both of you. Hope it all works out well.

Just checking in, working on files then headed out to errands. As I go I am exploring the products, and wanted to mention Path Between the Cliffs. Be sure and explore those thumbnails- there are cliffs on waterfront. The main promo doesn't give you the total feel of the product (and they can't, only one image for a main promo) so see if you missed the scope of this one. Whenever things are on sale, sometimes I just buy them if the price is right because I like what's in the main promo enough that it makes it worthwhile. I don't remember seeing cliffs with water so thought perhaps you may not be aware either. You get a somewhat woodsy area, plus cliffs and water. A nice combination.

Mom is doing good, no fever, eating fairly well, she can be picky (I am!) and she's got her full faculties. She recognized a med student named Mike, even with all the PPE he was wearing, who she hadn't seen in a month or more. She's in good spirits. They're doing another COVID test this week. Mike said they've had some false positives, but again, with all the precautions they take in the COVID unit, Mom is safer over there than in her regular room (with different CNA's coming in and out of the room.)

I bought that set I thought the water and cliffs would make a good river scene

Funny cat story I meant to share earlier. During our recent weather event, I lost power and my male cat Mr.Whitepaws who likes to sleep on the back of the couch woke up when it happened and stared at the ceiling fan. He proceeded to go from the couch to the coffee table and stared at the fan from there he then fussed at it then looked at me and fussed at me and looked back at the fan. He did this every couple of hours until the power was restored and the fan came back on at which point he curled back up on the couch and went to sleep

My other critters just kinda ignored everything

Good that your mom is feeiling OK and is sharp. That must ease some of your initial worry. I hope she keeps doing well. It sounds like she lives in a good place.

    Same here.

Maybe you could suggest to the facility to have the employees to put a small photocopy of their favorite picture of their faces smiling on their masks or gowns where it can be seen? I saw where a doctor did it, because his patients couldn't see his smile.

A doctor actually smiling when where I've never seen one do that even when I was working in healthcare
