Can't remember if I mentioned they brought her bird feeder from her other room, and day before yesterday she told me her birds (LOL) had found her. The cardinals are flying back and forth from the bush by her room, up to the feeder. :)  She's still asymptomatic and doing well :)   Thanks for asking.

Don't know if you folks in the western Gulf states know this, but just like Josephine forming today, next week Accuweather says the Gulf Of Mexico area (western part) or lower western Caribbean may have a similar situation with a storm spinning up fairly quickly. They were pretty specific so I don't know what long range models they're looking at.  The way this season is going, we may run out of the Greek alphabet too LOL.

ah, indeed- now one tropical area has a yellow path and headed west. I found that huge blob coming off the coast marked as 60% chance of forming by some models, but I didn't recognize any of them. Let's see what that gets labeled in a few days.

Here's my cart, picked up Fluidos in Fast Grab, and since the mixer product was 50% off, used my $6 PC+ code (over $18 required, and my cart was $19 something) so I got the blender product really cheap!

Just pick a paving stone up and lob it - isn't that what flagging means?

Found one in DIM which isn't 100% correct and could possibly cause problems if folks are searching for an obvious word such as Eventide.  The Orestes Iray HDRI Skydomes Vol 1- Eventide  does not have Eventide in the title in DIM.

    Okay, this is just ridiculous.

dForce New York Style OUTFIT for Genesis 8 Females is "DForce New York Style" in DIM. I add the word Outfit- AND IT DISAPPEARS.
dForce new York Style DRESS OUTFIT Textures is "New York Style Dress Textures."  So who added DRESS to the name of the product for in the store, and then- in DIM took out the word "outfit?"    And for some reason, when I type in New York Style, they won't show up at the same time.

It almost has the look of being outsourced work but they were not given complete instructions on how to do their job.

I have wondered if there is a limit to the number of digits in the name field in DIM. If so, they may have to remove a word so the item might still be found. What still seems wasteful is 'dForce' as some use it, some do not and not even consistently between the main outfit and the texture set(s). I expect they could not do a retrospective name clean-up, but going forward drop that unnecessary word or at least just use 'dF' at the beginning.

Nice thought, but no dice. Look at this with 72 characters/spaces in DIM. I agree dForce should just be dF- even in titles!

Well I guess it got ticked off at me, because now it won't do ANYTHING. I've exited and gone back in several times, and nothing will load, the ready to install column is blank. How do you reset DIM?

Edit- Well, the third time, a DIM update popped up. Did that, and it's back. So watch for an update. (I don't know what's in it.)

Funny, I reported this in The Commons at the exact same time as you posted this:

I used two UltraScenery tiles for these. Both are the River 2 Feature and the Woodland 5 Ecology. One has spiky hills and the other was default. I added a Lynne's Pig, Wild Boar and three Catalyzer Wolves.

Wow, I really love the sense of light, the deep shadowy areas in the trees and the sunlit areas on the bank in your first image (the wide-view scene), Sandy!

Thank you. Just the way it came out using my default render settings.

Re DIM: I had read in the forums last week or earlier this week folks had an update, but until yesterday afternoon I did not get it. Just when I was trying to do something! Always when I want to do something. Also an Nvida update for the Studio version. And another Windows 10 update, along with Edge finally updating to the Chromium version. Almost forgot what I wanted to do by the time it was all done.

@Fishtales, love the render. Now we need the PAs to give us a torn to pieces carcass.

UltraScenery is always a wonderful surprise on lighting. Sometimes not a good one for me, but when it is good, oh my what a treat.

@Novica, I caught the weather report this morning for two systems that are lining up for Pensacola and Mississippi at the same time/day. I hope they either fizzle out or get diverted for everyone's sake.

@memcneil70  Laura is going to be interesting, if it's a Category 1, we'll be okay I hope. After going through Ivan then Dennis 9 months apart, both almost reaching Category 4, we'll take a Cat 1 and just hunker down. The other storm is going to be Texas. They are concerned with that Fujiwara Effect, Laura will possibly impact the other storm and SLOW IT DOWN which means massive flooding over in Texas/Louisiana.

If you're wondering which spaghetti model to watch, here's a tidbit of information I found interesting from Yale Climate Connections (the old Category 6 Wunderground folks from Weather Underground)

"The HWRF and COAMPS-TC models kept Laura just north of the islands, and both of these models predicted that Laura would become a major hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico on Tuesday after passing along the north coast of Cuba and through the Florida Keys on Monday. The 6Z Friday runs of these two models were similar. The HWRF model had the advantage of initializing its forecast with Doppler radar data from Thursday night’s NOAA P-3 hurricane hunter mission, something no other model ingests."

So every time the hurricane hunters are flying in the storms, the HWRF gets Doppler radar input. That makes a huge difference in additional information. But not happy to see it stating Laura will be a Cat 3 or higher  :(

MOM IS BACK IN HER ROOM!!!!!   Virus results- NEGATIVE!   She kicked its booty at 92 years old!  (She had four or five tests, so not all would be false negatives.)    I talked to her and she is "enjoying having my own recliner" again.

Amazing! I'm so happy for her, and your whole family. I'm sure this has been a very stressful time for all of you. I'm really glad it's over with the best possible outcome.

That is fantastic news about your mom Novica. She is one tough lady. Did the bird feeder follow her yet?

From the latest (5PM) Hurricane center forcast track it may go west of you and hit New Orleans.

The best possible outcome! Is she alone now, or does she have a roommate again?
