Here is a rough draft test 360 degree render of a gallery setup. Using Frame Studio
This is another one I did recently. I like the bug ant it reminds me of my Grandmas VW. Although she had one that was a brighter yellow, so I adjusted the color a bit from this little Retro Small Car. It was a great little purchase from the store. Look forward to playing with it some more.
I also used Messy Laundry Mega Set for the hoodie.
Threw in a can of Oly Beer for some reason... because it reminded me of an era. The old style rim looks funny up close, but works in the distant shot.
A Day at the Beach
Love the dog on the beach scenes. Wish I was there!
Thank you Sonja. So do I actually. Appreciate the commment.
^__^
A little box I am working on today with a carpet covered top.
Using the box prop. Also used super sleek pony tail hair and white dress from the DAZ Store.
Here are some examples of trying to get hair to do something pleasing with Dforce wind with a slight breeze. It may have to do with what hair is used. Some hairsets are probably good with wind and others not so much. This one is pretty unsatisfactory as is. I wonder if there is a list of hair assets that play nicely with dynamic forces without having to do post work or use some other software than DAZ for dynamic hair?
Here is another render of the previous setup. I have to figure out how to make the head look less artificial as something in the placement of the neck seems to be the weak point of the image added to the fact that I think the focus point of the eyes needs to be beyond the glass instead of directly on it to avoid the cross-eyed look.
Update: Much better. A little dynamic simulation on the dress makes it so much more organic.
Had some fun creating this bit of drapery. Was a challenge. I actually over the timeline had a figure grabbing it and coaxing it into place before exporting it as an object. I am going to create a few more of these.
Here is the above drapery in a setting. In this rendering, I notice some jaggies in the geometry. Perhaps I need a few more lines of resolution, or I could try a decimated version of the drape.
A Boy and his Truck - Rendered inside European Style Apartment
Really like the lighting on the girl with the knife and wine glass.
That's quite the interesting hair going on there. Clearly that one does not seem to be very good with Dforce. You might ask over in the Dforce thread in the commons, they are usually very helpful.
Your boy is cute, although he looks rather like he wishes he was outside instead of in. Must be raining or snowing out lol.
@IceDragonArt Yes, I am sure there is a long list somewhere of DForce compatible hair. I like the general idea of the wind catching it that way on hillside.
I like the European Apartment but many of the renders that I saw using DAZ Characters came off poorly as the architectural elements looked so realistic and Daz figures often in contrast add a sudden unrealistic uncanny valley. For this reason I included a scan of a boy to lend a little more organic realism making the medium more transparent.
Here is another exmple:
Modeled this bench in Hexagon as well as sampling floor textures to set up this scene based on a Metro train station.
The next element to be worked on is a backboard with advertisements. It needs some time spent in Photoshop working on the UV maps.
Some metal shaders here. It will surely improve with some more detailed maps instead of metal shaders.
Added Backpanel
Working the floor pattern and expanding the scene outward. Yes, there is a lot of repetition in the patterns, but they are at least mapped out and can be worked on to randomize and clean up the details.
Here is the empty hull of a Siemens SD-400 Train Car. Now it needs an undercarriage and some window treatments.
A view of things to come.
A few more experiments with similar subject matter with background panoramas captured with a cellphone, thus the environment images didn't seam up perfectly. Need a better 360 camera for that.
Safety Barrier
Update: The light is starting to look better although I think that I need to scale the people down a bit or scall the environment up to suit. Still need to dirty up some textures.
Back Yard Scene
Figure Still-Life
Muscles
Cat Lady
Boy with airplane and his dog.
Girl and her cat in a studio.
A mix of "Old Chap" and "Giovanni".
I wonder what figure has really masculine hands. His hands are a bit thinner than I imagined. Whatever that means
And another character, apparently before and after the zombie battle. Although she apparentlyhad the decency to put down her scarf and coat before fighting zombies and then picked it up after... priorities. It's the only explanation.
xD
He looks just like George Clooney!
You've been busy and I am way behind lol. LOVE what you are doing with the train station. You mentioned scaling things up. I think the people are the right size, but your backboard with the adverstising needs to be a bit bigger and bit farther up the wall.
@IceDragonArt I agree, he does have a little Clooney vibe, which is not a bad thing at all. I will have to check out your thread, I have been like a mule with blinders on. I commissioned a train to be made for the scene at the metro station by someone who specializes on train models. He will make it a little quicker and accurately. He is building the image maps now. I am excited!
:-)
