Render of "Souks 2012" from a few angles
See the Gou Luk bundle
A bit of kit bashing combined with a bike station metal thingy I made in Hexagon.
Then, of course had to make a bar lock so it would look semi-secure.
Figure of the day as she was on sale. Why not put a Leeloo outfit on Leeloo who was $1.99 today.
Bus Stop
Comic Page du jour.
What tools will facilitate the next panel which will be the search and possible hiding? Doging into a window to continue the escape inside? Crawling
throgh a hidden sub-terranean? Who knows? Perhaps tossing the dice of the next sale will tell?

Escape
In the interest of completing a page, this is a bit rough, I wanted to lay out a scene/scenario, but it is not perfect. I may rerender certain
frames, in a similar way to the way a story told a second or third time, may change in what elements are emphasized. This is a framework
of sorts. It is rough and a noisy render but it is a rough draft as I said.
How can someone escape on rollerscates when suddenly all alley-ends are blocked? Is it realistic to break through a window after climing a fire escape?
Another page, yet a rough draft still. I have some issues to work out like the broken glass and representing a broken window in the scene.
Randomeness
Conversation between a ladybug and a butterfly.
Been busy actually watercolor painting versus doing the digital stuff. Here is a sign I mocked up that I was playing with
for a painting.I can toy around with lighting arrangements and depth of field etc in planning my composition.
Here's with different lighting and some of the wiring showing.
And the same as an early morning scene
I just stumbled upon this render and it's great! Such a summer feel to it. I am curious what they might be talking about!
Been a while... Picking uop where I left off.
Render of model posing
Lighting experiments with pears rendered in Daz3d but models come from other source. I could have put a better metal shader on the knife. Oh, well...
Bison
Using some 3d scans in Daz
Still Life
Vaguely based on Lawnmower Man with Jeff Fahey

A second view of a previous model
Geometric elements based on sculpture of collapsed columns at Pioneer Square in Portland Oregon. modeled in Hexagon.
Figure for scale reference
Discovering the abandoned house
Point of connection
Model in the floppy hat
Render of recently purchsased lamp
Hasd to give this one a double glance it has a very realistic feel to it.
@FirstBastion
The Pacific Northwest us is a place that sticks with me. Many memories there. I think that sort of scenery means something to me. There was a particular place in Juneau, Alaska that inspired this sort of scene.I would play there as a child.
Glad it stood out to you.
Kit bashing and testing new character and wardrobe bits. The pair of shorts came with some under-leggings. I am glad it worked out well to use the geometry tool and hide the extra bits. The frayed edge looks clean.
Casual Family Sedan
Forest Road
I have to say the Forest Road set was a nice length of road with a lot of diverse angles and opportunities for camerawork along the way. Like it quite well. I am sure the Casual Family Sedan will be a versatile addition to my library as well.
Renders below using the listed sets.
I especially liked the rolling hills off to the side of the road. Much scenic potential. I can see characters on a chase through the trees.
Also worth mentioning is Cloudscape Creator - Bare Sky HDRIs for Iray, and Cloudscape Creator - Sky Cover for Iray which are phenomenally useful sets. They were used in the above images.
I like naturalistic realism. It isn't for everyone, but I have fun with making an attempt at it.
Render du jour
A moment of confrontation between a hotel guest and some bikers.
Tighter Cropping
A bonus image I was working on. I used some tattered phone poles from an external source, but the material zones are all messed up I am going to have to spend more time remapping surfaces than I wanted to spend today so I gave up on this for now.
