No, I wish I could though. I have 2 zbrush full char morph sliders that I use to mess with things, along with Die Tryings and Ramwolfs stuff.
I really don't like the bow lipped pout face exaggerated doll face look. Real is pretty, Doll face mannequins are.. well, kinda creepy to me.
And thanks :).
lol....excellent oranges.....now I'll have to come up with something....hmmmm
Long time no see.....you got booted to page 2....not to worry I will move you back with my super powers....LOL
Hi. Been gone a while. Fighting with glaucoma, my heart, and RL crap. Some good crap, my eldest is attending USMA West Point.
Good to see so many names I remember :)
Anyhow, an oldie redone (but not finished yet, of course) and a quickie. PNGs so nothing spectacular.
Welcome back. So nice to see you again. :-)
HI Kismet! Been lurking through your so very much improved images :).
Thank you.
Great to see you back, I often wondered where you had gone. Sorry about the glaucoma and other issues.
Your warrior maidens look fierce! Normally bare midriffs trouble me but I seriously don't think anyone is going to get close enough to leave so much as a scratch on this one!
Good to have you back. I did wonder where you had disappeared off to.
I often wander off. Most of the time, the neighbors bring me back home :P.
Working on my forlorn entry for the Newbie contest. I could not force Corel to my will in creating a rank insignia that looked better than fingerpainting. So... I used an earring from the old dragon tutorial.
As I get more props and clothing, as well as better ways to do things I can't help but revisit old renders and "fix" them. This is one of my very favorites, I'll possibly revise it for a long time :)
A wip I'm doing from a sketch by the young woman my son is dating. Very rough first step.
Was inspired by something I saw in the gallery.
"nothing but Orc rabble"
Good to see ladies armed, armoured and ready to hunt some orc :)
Yes, preciousss, nassty orcses.
Second iteration. "Let them come"
Odd, all three of the shield girls have different faces, but morphing to the "angry" look makes them all look similar. Something to work on. Those 3 are Genesis2, still not sold on it, but the Dumor armor is G2 only. I don't have the clone for Genesis yet.
submission for Llola's feb violet challenge. Just for fun. I have a hard time making things but hopefully some more eye surgery will get me back to seeing better.
Hopefully it is safe here from someone tossing a rule of thirds overlay on it.
"Violet Swim" is the title
Groovy render :) and LOL at the rule of thirds overlay
Groovy render :) and LOL at the rule of thirds overlay
LOL.. sorry, but I look at "rule of thirds" about the same as "I before E except after C". As in, not always....
Just seems to be something nearly everyone latches onto as a holy grail. It is a great rule of thumb but I'm sick of hearing about it and particularly sick and tired of people throwing overlays on images to make some point.

Please remember that the New Users contest is designed as an educational contest, to help new Users get to grips with their new software and how to use it. If the CV team run a contest about "composition" then it is obvious that it is going to have quite a few references to the golden rules of composition. If the idea then carries on into the next contest then it does tend to demonstrate that people are taking notice and finding it helpful, which is good, as that is the general idea, to put together a set of contests that end up as a reference for people to look back at when needing tips. I haven't seen the behaviour you describe happening much outside of the context of the NU contests. Just an explanation and my thoughts. Thanks

Was not referring to the New Users contest but imagery as a whole. Camera viewfinders come with overlays built in. You can get phone apps that apply overlays. If you discuss composition anywhere, the overlays come out. As I stated, in my opinion, knowledge of the "rules" is a good thing, until people put up a rule overlay first and build "art" or photograph to fit it. This should not be a rigid medium, and composing to grid IS rigid.
Respectfully, and in my opinion.
been playing with dials for a couple hours. Here is the result.
She is half-elf but I wanted a less northern europe look to her.
Sigh, once again I tried everything and went with Zoey mats.
Well poo. I realized I had Violet elves and forgot, only one render allowed. Oh well.
"Violent Violet"
Goofing around with freebies, mostly male from the various tutorial packs.
Using my own shaders. I know they are far more competent than I am, but I don't know why PAs default textures for cloth and leather need to look like spandex vinyl. When its done in UberSubmarineUberTechUberPizzaz I just cant seem to remove it. The vest actually cast reflections on her arms on default.
Mix of lumberjack stuff, warrior and the Persian top (most of it set to no opacity. I really like the Ivy walls in Dovecot.
As usual this morning, Hampton Hair utterly humiliated and defeated me. I used Toulouse from Barefoot Dancer Tutorial.
Kind of a Female Aladdin I guess.
Something I'm working on, an expansion of the single figure scene. I do love night scenes.
Night scenes are indeed a lot of fun to do :D
Final Image. Not entered.
New player "contest" match a pose.
So I am wrecking Frazetta.
I LOVE IT!!
Thanks Carrie.
Final in better resolution.
happily playing with some of this weeks freebies. Thanks DAZ!
This is for V4. One thing I discovered, it did place a new file in DAZ formats, in a new folder called V4. However, the clothes will not load or autofit to Genesis from there. They will load and autofit from the file in Poser format though.
