I like dark images.  Another to post to my Gallery, unliked and unloved, fading into obscurity. :)

    But I still like it.

Yes, that gallery sometimes feels like a big sink with images floatin down fast some few keeping on the surface becaus they get some votes, so many good ones just flushed down the maelstrom..

I like the sneaking onto something in the darkness though white haired girls does have malus in sneak attack. Now I go to bed because I spend more time correcting my spelling mistakes than actually writng something

Yes, if you don't have a vote posse the images fall fast and never get looked at.  Still happy we get the free space to at least archive a few.

Heh, big time difference between here and there.

The white hair just goes with the High Elf thing.  I guess they are super sneaky!

This just a fun image, yes, centered but I wanted an old photo.

The reason I posted is to Thank Wilmap again for providing so many "off the beaten path" outfits.

reworked another oldie. So much easier now with a real comp instead of the kerosene Abacus I had before.

Title is still "Time Out Time"

I love this.  The look on the dragons face is priceless!

Oh ha ha, Thanks Sonja.  That took hours but I treasure that image.  Trying to get a dragon to look sheepish :)

    Morning Walk.

I guess some backstory. Races of Norrath generally have a deep distrust of others, if not pure hatred.

Post Shattering, Norrath was in turmoil, and on the Isle that would become Zek, the remnants of the non-Orc races were forced to band together against the Deathfist Empire. Green Hoods, they were called.

This led to the unlikely pairing of a Teir'Dal guardsman and a kindly, mother of all stray cats Halasian, a healer and camp cook.

Lel T'Savo was deeply wounded in a clash with Sullon Zek Orcs. During his weeks of recovery, he and the big barbarian, Elise, bonded together. She cared for him, tended him, they became soulmates. When the Far Seas Company re-established contact with Zek, Lel returned to Freeport, and Elise went with him.

No one knew the depth of their relationship, they never married, never had children, but.. never parted. Elise remained a nurturer of strays, cats, and now, refugees. Post Shattering, families were sundered, orphans were many, and the plight of refugee girl children very bleak.

In all, Elise took in 7 strays. All girls, of many races. They grew up together, became a family, inseparable. When the oldest girl, Teofa, was in her 20th season, Lel died, never having fully recovered. Elise followed him 6 months later.

The girls remain together. They took the name T'Savo, and have made a place for themselves in Norrath.

(now, a real lore freak will rip my story apart, but hey, its my story)

Anyhow, here are three of them setting out for the day. Teofa, Kesa and Enata

I'm sure it it well known, but I discovered I could parent the 3 figures to a single invisible plane to pose them in the new set. Made me very happy.

    Great story!

Feeling things deeply even when they are painful always seems to give added life to artwork. It bleeds through into the work.  and I think sometimes, that's what makes it so beautiful.

Wow this is really good! So you soon have a Pro in the house with your daughter in Law, that is nice, I would like to have someone to discuss art things around but none of my family or friends have much interest. I'm glad there's the internet

Goofing around and bringing House Tsavo ahead a few centuries.  Freeport is still Freeport and they are still Bad Girls.  My g2 Lasai with some of my new StalkerGirl items and a wilmap vest.   I've wanted this Stalker Girl hair forever, and finally this Christmas I got to spend nearly $100 on items.

Really good job on the expression!  Says exactly what its supposed to say lol.  I like the hair and top as well.  I spent a bunch on the PC Sale and the PA sale and can't really spend anymore so I will have to put the hair and outfit on the wishlist

Thank you.  I spend a lot of time on expressions, generally, because I really don't like them overdone.  I think "Poppies" is the most extreme expression I've ever done on a real render.

The top is free :)  From Wilmap.  One of the top and pants sets for G2.  I love some of the rich fabric texture she is using now.

I really like that one, her expression is priceless and you did a wonderful job wiht it. I agree expressions overdone are no good and I usually don't use the preset expressions either, they are to monodirectional.

Thanks Linwelly.  Monodirectional, I like that term.

I look at the gallery a lot. I find inspiration and discouragement in fairly equal doses.  It is art, and everyone has an interpretation, but it seems that those who don't pursue the Photoshoot Glam Vicky types have to really work a lot harder to find appreciation.  I'm not prudish at all but the portrait glamour trope is beaten to death yet pulls the votes.  This among artists who are both talented and technically adept.

And this is not talking of my work.  I'm speaking of others work, buried in the 3-10 vote archives, while technically proficient panty and candy shots are raved over.  I'm not knocking the obligatory Steel Bikini either, I'm talking about that Bikini with perfect hair, makeup and nails posed in a fantasy prop "studio".

Only mentioned because this is more of an phenomena with digital Art than it seems to be in the art world in general.  I'm not trying to discount any individual artist, but Bravo to those who wander off the "golden path" to popularity and explore different themes.

It does seem to even out a bit more on the "of all time" filter.

Sadly, even after being here for only 3 1/2 months its blatantly obvious.

Just goofing off.  BD's Amandi skin, one of zamuelnow's ethnic head presets, elements of several Pretty 3D outfits and Space Bunny.  One of Novica's backgrounds and a light vignette post.  Stalker girl hair.  The bores of those Pretty 3D pistols are.. impressive.

Not really finished.  I made her short and a little chunky.  Just experimenting.  I love to bash outfits together.

She looks great, I really like her skin color and texture.  And am developing a love of kit bashing myself lol.  And... wish I was that chunky lol.  She looks like a real human not a barbie doll!

Skin is Bouncing Dog Graphics, Sassenak, on share cg.  She also made some nice millenium horse textures.  The only issue I've found with this skin is that a lot of raytraced shadows will make it go spastic.

It's sad, it's predictable, but.. sex sells.

I'm glad that there are people (like you) who still attempt to be more original than that. I can only hope they won't get demotivated by lack of atention/acknowledgement and either give up or join the pin-up crowds.

Personally, I am in in for my own enjoyment. People don't like it? Well, I can hardly expect them to be into my attempts at storytelling or showcaing characters that mean a lot to me, but less than nothing to others. I could undress them more often, or dress them in chain mail bikinis, but that would spoil my own personal fun. Not happening wink
