actually i have been converting these but yes i will try 2 work on the material zones. just uploaded some more models last night so check out my page.
Next one up - Buick!
Beautiful car.
Where did you get that one?
Bought before I retired and had some spare cash for 3d stuff.. Its been sitting on a backup CD since then, until I found this thread and went looking through my old stuff for car models.. Came untextured, though.. and the interior could use having more material groups and was pretty basic, so it got swapped with one from another model
Can't remember where got it, but it was a good find and worth the bucks..
Oh yeah, it was a good find. Was hoping it was something that was still available at a reasonable price.
Nice Buick there.
Here is one with Norma Jean spending time in Paris!
Freebie off the internet. All rematted and rendered in Bryce
And a variation of the above. :-)
You guys are really getting good at this!
just downloaded the yosemite pack 2 and when i click a scene to open it i get only a scene without the textures can someone explain what i am doing wrong please
The textures show up when you make a render.
ah ok so when setting up the model it is un textured?
No, the ground plane doesn't have a texture, but comes out clear in the render, and makes the rest of the photo sphere appear to be a part of the entire scene.
i know that much betsy but when i load it into the program is the entire sphere supposed to be untextured until you click render?
Did you load the whole preset?
ok im ignorant please explain how do i do that?
Since most of the HDRI sets are made for DAZ studio, the presets should be in your DAZ formats, you will find the Pro-Sets Yosemite under the Scenes tab, under Dimension Theory, the presets should be there in the lower window where all your thumbnails pop up.
I've got to go to work now, so won't be able to answer anything else till morning.
ok i will try again thnx betsy
Chrysler PT Cruiser with my own flame job matted on and rendered in Bryce... Still need to fix those rear lights!
47 Buick Ambulance.
well here are my first renders using yosemite any advice on improving my renders would be appreciated thanks.
Nice
Was this a sketchup conversion
Nice
Was this a sketchup conversion
No, that one is a gta conversion, here's another one I just rigged up this morning.
hey betsy any advice on how i can improve my first render of the vette in yosemite
?
Well, it looks like you took a picture of the car and simply placed it or pasted it over a picture of Yosemite, I believe the light sets that came with the HDRI set are set to give shadows, also, you will either need to change the scale of the car, or the scale of the sphere, get everything closer to the size it should be, and the car will become more a part of the scene, I'm no expert at the use of HDRI sets, as I often have the same problem when I try using the HDRI sets myself, just keep working at it, you will probably get it sooner or later, its very much a hit and miss type thing for sure!
yeah i realized that and will try that on my next render. btw nice find on the 66 country squire i just converted that file myself from forza horizons
It's a pretty nice mesh to work with, only problem I see is the same problem that a lot of the gta cars have, the tires are totally crappy.
yeah i know. have you looked at the site gamemodels.ru they have some great forza model conversions that can easily be converted with forza studio.
Not familiar with Forza at all.
well it has high detail models with mid poly count. only thing that is not there is an engine and drivetrain
