Okay, weird. It started rendering the hair and it is no longer on her head. Explanation for that???? (It's parented. But why would it come off during rendering?)

    EDIT: Added Photo.

For the Stuff WendyCat posts those are a GIF format animation and for the Forums they must follow the FILE Size guidelines. They can get large very fast. Most people post to YouTube and then put a Link here for users to follow. On YouTube most the files are in Windows WMV format.

And the Hair thing I got no clue. I would need to look at the File myself on my PC. Sorry.

This happened to me also when using the Skull Cove set. Cameras switched on me when I rendered and things that I moved would be moved back to their original place only in the render. Weird. I never reported a bug. I got busy with something else and forgot about it.

What's even weirder is that for frame 2 being rendered, the hair is back on her head.

That's totally weird. I've used Skull Cove quite a few times and moved things around a lot. Bet that was indeed freaky! Props playing hide-and-seek!

Over in the animation thread, I mentioned studio crashed when I tried to render the Puppeteer as individual frames. (And Jaderail said most people animating in studio do not save as a movie, because if the studio hiccuped when you were scrubbing, it ruins the movie. Scrubbing is when you drag your mouse over the pose dots, and it creates the timeline.

So, I'm working around that and doing my own thing to create animations. It's crazy, but beautiful results. If the studio can't render all those frames without error, I am NOT spending another 2 hours rendering a sequence using it, only to have it crash. If my way works, I'll share it, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you have a lot of patience. I'm busy watching youtube videos on DAZ on the second computer while another computer does the animation thingie.

Okay folks, BEFORE YOU ASK- If you own that product and get the above product FREE, it will NOT count as an item to up the discount from 30% from those featured stores to 45%. I just tested it. (With Artemis.)

EDIT: I tested it with a new item and a NOT NEW item. You might want to check this again closer toward morning, it's 2:25am and they just changed the site an hour ago, and you know how that goes. I'm headed to bed then out to the ranch to un-blanket the horse so won't be home to test it for you.

The here kitty sale doesn't seem to be working. I just test it with the hats and lips and two different merchant stores from the list. I got no additional discount.

Make sure the PA store items are not "NEW".

Sale seems to be working correctly now... and appears to be stacking on some items that are already on sale... probably not supposed to be doing that.

Not too much I am I interested in today either, I am nabbing the fur and LAMH free player and see how that works. The store is flooded with new female characters, I am holding out for some new men. Seems for every one male character that comes out, there are 4 women...lol

LOL. You speak the truth. I just don't need more females. 2/3rd of my runtime are female, especially light-skinned females. I just need more men and darker skinned ladies for gen 2.

Edit: And I know, I know, young Caucasian ladies are what 'sells' in the industry, for those Pa's monitoring the thread, I can only state that I don't need any more beautiful women of the fair skinned variety.

I do however own all the gen 2 men except for 2. So I'm hardly atypical.

In trying to create some unique men in my Genesis and G2 characters, I came across Trey for M4 by Morris, converted to Genesis. He has 5 different faces, bald or hair with facial hair, bald and no facial hair, shaved and hairy body, and tattoo options, and a genital mat for those who want it. I think he is a nice addition to your runtime for versatility in your characters. Transferred easily with GenX and the materials worked perfectly.

A quick look at Zev0's Aging morphs 2 HD for Genesis Bundle

Also used in both the scenes are:
    Bus Stop Vignette
    Advanced Ambient Light

    And for M6HD:
Newport Outfit for Genesis 2 male(s)
    BWC Manly poses

    And for V6HD:
Boardwalk Outfit for Genesis 2 Female(s)
End Of Summer Hair for Genesis and Genesis 2 female(s)
    Damsels and Divas - Poses

I used the same setup, just added the aging morphs (and set a grey texture on the end of summer hair). I did not spend a huge amount of time checking how the aging became as it is a huge amount of parameters to play with. I've enjoyed the product for Genesis and this one looks even better. All we need is the skin overlays to work with Genesis 2 UVs.

Trey looks good! I do use his skin, but don't have gen x. Nice to see his morphs xferred over. Thanks for showing us that!

Just a word or two (or more) about Slosh's
Generation 5 Legacy Shapes for Genesis 2 Male(s)

Generation 5 Legacy Shapes for Genesis 2 Female(s)

Generation 4 Legacy Shapes for Genesis 2 Female(s)

I was wishing that I could work with these familiar shapes in the G2 figures, and Slosh has made that possible.
It may seem unnecessary if you already have the G1 figures, but for me there are advantages that are difficult to put into words.
Sometimes you just want something, LOL.

The shapes don't add the ability to use textures that were made specifically for figures like Hitomi, for example, but I have the feeling that may be on the way. So for now, G2M can use M6, M5, and M4 textures; G2F can use V6, V5, and V4 textures - as long as they are in .duf format.

Here's an example of the Michael5 shape on G2M, wearing Philip Textures (I added the SSshaders with Dimension Theory's Subsurface Toolbox.

Of course there is the advantage that comes from using percentages of morph shapes to make new characters, and these old shapes add quite a bit to your G2 gene-pools.

@TJohn: Nice one. I do agree, and I just so much prefer M5's face shape.

I really loved that you made the hair gray and got the "entire package" look. The skin looks very good!

Kharma- thanks for sharing Trey. Do you find gen x easy to use? One of these days I'll get to it. I have so many programs I haven't used, this past week was Garibaldi and Puppeteer. (Already done big cats with LAMH.)

tjohn- he looks good! I am kinda lost with all these products (transferring materials from one generation to another, using gen x, etc) so when I need help, I know who to ask. You definitely are a pro at it.

Sorry for being awol from the thread, I am still testing puppeteer and having problems. The view shifted for some reason and ruined my sequence of frames that I had painstakingly compiled. Then the ranch owner got sick and I was out helping with stuffing the haynets, feeding, pasture cleanup, etc- and again tomorrow. Thanks to everyone for pitching in on the thread. When I get the animation thing figured out/rendered (the hard part, a LOT of frames) then I'll share what I've learned.

Here's another one that somehow got past me- and the main reason I am noting it (other than it is 60% off!) is that it isn't just the body poses- YOU GET FACIAL EXPRESSIONS TOO. Will work on other Genesis figures (may have to tweak slightly.) But what a deal!

Is it any surprise I have this? Here are a few other useful sets although not presently on sale.
