I created a little still life, because I wanted to play around with some free textures from arroway.de (here I used one for the pillow and one for the floor). The glass and the bottle are modeled with Bryce, the pillow is from the internet, the grapes from Daz3D.

Horo, I don't think your abstract is busy, I think it's great. I love the symmetry (something I can never achieve with abstracts) of it and the restrained use of colours. What have you got in the background? It looks like a backdrop of earth and plants showing through...

Electro-Elvis - this looks very nice.

judykerr3d - thank you. Actually a Bryce-made abstract HDRI, inside and outside of the pyramid which is partly transparent and reflecting, and a bit of bump.

@adbc, Horo, mermaid010: Thank you very much. When I look at my image, then the pillow reminds me rather of a sausage :-D (might be of the colour I chose)

I came back to my favourite topic. To depict characters from Daz Studio with Bryce. The lady is a Genesis 8 character. I had to merely adapt the transparent maps and the skin, that was all (okay the eyes caused a few issues, too). The light comes from a Dome Light with a Falloff of None and no Shadow (Diffuse = 10, Specular = 6). A sphere light provides a little glossiness. Rendered with TA with 36 rpp. Thanks for watching.

The lighting and the skin material are perfect. You don't often see this kind of lighting quality in DS.

Electro-Elvis - again a superbly presented Daz lady, perfect lighting. By the way, yes indeed, when I looked at the thumbnail of your previous work I also thought that's a sausage but looking at it at the full size the pillow became obvious.

Good Afternoon Folks,  I thought I would stop by and admire and enjoy the work here.. it is always so enjoyable to see.  I really love the posturized terrains..

Alot of these I am seeing here would be beautiful in a video game; I am seeing a lot of games developers using environments with voxelized or posturized looking terrains.  I thought I would play a little bit today using colors to match the nebula sky photo background.  It's a lot of fun playing around with the posterizing effects on the terrain

Electro-Elvis : the lady looks fantastic, just like a photo.

Rasberri : Excellent result with posterized terrains, great sky.

Il played with TE-Filters and the terrain editor, 6 terrains, took a while to render.

Electro-Elvis -  cool render, the lady is beautiful.

Rasberri - very nice results with posterized effect.

Adbc - great work the the TE Filter, nice lighting and textures.

I’m having lots of fun with David and Horo’s High-Res set. Here’s another landscape. For the lighting I used a Hdri from the Lens and filters set.

mermaid - very beautifully done landscape image.

The object is an Alien Artifact by MatCreator with a material from the High Resolution Terrain set 2 standing on a fading disk within a transparent and reflecting sphere and lit by an HDRI from Landscapes under Fantastic Skies.

    Rieke77, mermaid010: Thank you.

Horo: Fantastic abstract. I like the many colours and the kind of chaotic view that still has depth and focus. Bravo! I like the way you made the alien artifact look under your Fantastic Skies. Great colours and reflections.

Electro-Elvis: In the small picture, I thought the pillow was a sausage, must be because of the colour. Texture of pillow and floor look very good indeed. And you still excel in your favourite subject. What a lovely portrait with wonderful texture and light.

Rasberri: Nice to see you play with the posterized terrains. Fantastic sky background.

Adbc: Great use of the TE-filters. Very nice render in this light.

Mermaid010: Very good use of the High-Res terrain. Wonderful view.

    mermaid - thank you.

Double stacked terrain and two in the distance. Clouds are a rendered sphere of volume clouds (fast render, expensive memory).

Horo : beautiful render, the texture on the terrains is great so are the clouds.

This time I made something different, long time ago RDNA used to give figures for free at Christmas (Cranksville), now I used some of them.

    Rieke77 - thank you.

Terrain and material from the High Resolution Terrains set 2, sky and ambient light by the Gasclouds_B09 HDRI carefully adjusted, the stars from the Space Construction Kit and a bit of sun. A planet near a red dwarf sun with a very high temperature.
