Rieke77, mermaid : thank you.
Horo : beautiful fiery hot sky, great terrain with a texture that looks like melting.
Hi all. Hope everyone is well and safe. I very much enjoy viewing everyone’s images. It's so nice to see such excellent images from such an aged app.
Here’s 2 from me, this one titled “CDF Base 64”. This image started out as an experiment to re-create some of the glow effects I've seen in IRay images by using transparency maps and interior Bryce lights. The central tower and rocket platforms were created with Modo, mostly with bits and pieces from the Modo bashing kit. Custom UV mapping and textures mostly from CGTextures.
Rockets, “island”, Genesis 2 male, and the Mil dog are from DAZ3D. XFrog tree. Terrains, planet and stars are Bryce native objects. Atmospherics by David B.
Illuminated by the sun and use sky IBL. There are six omni lights and one parallel light, all very short range, inside the objects.
Rendered at 32 RPP, render time about 4 1/2 hours.
Thanks for taking a look!
Hi Dan, I don't see your images
My second image: “Kitane and Leega”
Like my last image this uses custom trans maps and interior lights for the buildings glow effects.
All the objects are from Daz3D except for the leopard (from Hivewirte) and the wall mural which was created in Modo with a Minoan mural image (Kitane is a Minoan name btw).
Illuminated by use sky IBL, four dome lights and two radios. Sky IBL by Horo.
Rendered at 32 RPP, TA enabled, a little over five hours render time.

Dan Whiteside : two excellent images, great modeling skills.
adbc - thank you.
Dan - great results of your experiments. CDF Base 64 is a great sci-fi image and Kitane and Leega is simply beautiful.
Horo: Great stacked terrains and indeed fantastic textures. And the space render looks extremely hot!
Adbc: Wonderful cartoon-like render. I love the puddles on the street.
Dan Whiteside: Lovely sci-fi render. Could be the cover of a book. And a great portrait with a wonderful pussycat ????
Hansmar : thank you.
Thank you Hansmar.
A terrain with a combination of textures from different sets, a streaming ray effect and a cloud slab combined with an HDRI and the sun.
@Horo: Beautiful. Great image.
@Dan Whiteside: Both images are excellent. In “Kitane and Leega” I like her moving hair. Maybe her skirt should also move a bit ;-)
I felt like modeling something in Bryce. I created a Victorian Vase for the garden. so that I don't just present it alone I added a background (from Daz Studio), a wall and a character. Rendered with TA, 36 rpp. The first attempt (the small picture) is pure Bryce sun and TA only, but in my opinion a bit too dark. Therefore I added a Distant Light with a value of diffuse 1 and no shadow to brighten up the background a bit. Thanks for watching.
@ Horo - Red Dwarf Sun looks like an Lava Planet - wonderful.
The terrain with the streaming ray effect looks beautiful.
@ Dan Whiteside - "CDF Base 64" and "Kitane and Leegais" are great.
@ Electro-Elvis - beautiful render with an asiatic touch. I like your Victorian Vases.
Horo : beautiful landscape with the streaming rays.
Electro-Elvis : Awesome Asian view, the victorian vases fit perfectly.
Electro-Elvis - thank you. Very nice picture with the elderly lady. And yes, of course, the vases are great models.
Rieke77 and adbc - thank you.
Fantastic landscape, Horo, with wonderful lighting.
Electro-Elvis: very nice vase model and very well presented. Peaceful mood, thanks to the Asian lady.
Hansmar - thank you.
Dan – two excellent images, awesome set and lighting. I think we cross-posted that’s why I missed the images.
Horo – beautiful image, love the stream rays effect
Electro-Elvis – awesome render and modelling.
I’m not sure if I posted these Abstracts before, I used one of the skies from the – Landscapes under Fantastic Skies, for the 2nd one I used the Ewl lens.
Mermaid010: Very nice abstracts, good use of the sky.
I made a landscape in which I used an earlier made height map and modified it with the TE-filters by Horo. Actually, these are two stacked terrains (the plane terrain is cut off from above to a low height). I used another terrain to cut out the stream.
mermaid : great abstracts, I love the colours.
Hansmar : Awesome landscape.
Thanks Hansmar and Adbc
Hansmar - very nice landscape.
mermaid - thank you. Two very interesting and nicely done abstracts.
Hansmar - landscape looks very good. Following the creek into the distance I expected to see a waterfall
A terrain with a combination of textures from two different sets and an HDRI combined with Bryce Cumulus. After I took the picture, I was lying down a bit and looked through the fisheye lens up to the sky.
Horo: Thanks. Yes, a waterfall would have been great. Unfortunately, the stream makes a bend to the right and then (invisible in the shadows) to the left and the waterfall is just behind the rocks there. What a pity . Next time, I should indeed try the waterfall again. I used one earlier and that worked well, so I might try it in a next version. A like your landscape a lot, also with the view from laying on your back.
adbc, Mermaid010: Thanks, glad you like it.
A new landscape, also combination of terrain editor and TE-filters. This one is stacked, as you can see on the noisy spikes on one part of the rock. The penguin (just one, instanced multiple times) was a freebie at Free3D.com. I instanced in the instancing lab and then moved and rotated part of the penguins. The sky is one of the presets I had not used before. I think it works nicely here. But I added an additional (distant) light to get a bit more brightness on the penguins.
Title: Penguins, or when is the boat arriving?
Hansmar - thank you. Very nice penguin scene, quite realistic looking and almost monochrome. I agree, the sky fits the scene well.
Horo - thanks, the landscape is awesome, especially the one viewed lying down
Hansmar - very nice scene, I like the snow texture
Horo : great landscapes, beautiful terrain texture and sky, Yes the one lying down is awesome.
Hansmar : Cool idea, very nicely done, the penguins look real.
@ mermaid010 - great abstract render. It looks a bit like diamonds.
@ Hansmar - beautiful landscape. I like the little river.
The render with the Penguin Colony is very beautiful.
@ Horo - wonderful landscape. I like the clouds.
The look through the fisheye lens is great.
mermaid, adbc and Rieke77 - thank you.
The object is from Alien Artifacts Vol2 by MatCreator with a Funky Metal standing on a shadow capture disk, behind it a 2d-Face with a hatcher, backdrop and ambient light by an HDRI and the key light by the sun.
Horo, Mermaid010, adbc, Rieke77: Thank you.
Horo: Greatly presented artifact. I like the extreme gloss on the object.
Hansmar - thank you.
The object, once instanced, is from Alien Artifacts Vol2 by MatCreator with the slightly modified Bryce Pro Material Tau Variant (David Brinnen). They stand on a shadow capture disk. Backdrop and ambient light by an HDRI, shadows created by the sun at the same position as in the HDRI but not visible and exactly opposite a yellowish distant light. This is the first time I started a scene with an anaglyph in mind (colour choices) and then rendered it also normal.
Horo : two excellent renders with the Mat Creator Artifacts, great anaglyph.
