NGartplay - sorry, forgot to mention that i like your two renders above. The Sand Saga looks very sandy :) and the Wise Arch is great with the eyes nose and mouth in the arch, which gives it a sad expression. The water is also very believable.
Another terrain made from an HDRI (Gasclouds_A3) that also makes the sky.
</p
Horo - another awesome landscape
Horo, this is an unusual terrain scene, which makes it so interesting. I see a small forest in the back and I like the addition of the flowers up front. I've been putting off using trees and bushes. This makes me want to try.
mermaid - thank you.
NGartplay - thank you. The alpenrose in the foreground is a tree, the forest in the background is also one tree five times instanced. The Tree Lab is not so bad, quite versatile but sometimes a bit tricky to use.
Horo : excellent and original landscape.
adbc - thank you.
Two more seascape renders from the High-Res set 4, different views of the lighthouse.
mermaid010, those are both excellent. I'm partial the the close up image because you can see the details more clearly. The water in the first one is perfect.
Thanks NGartplay
mermaid - excellent, the overview and the detail, both came out very nicely.
Thanks Horo
mermaid : awesome seascapes.
Still working on waterfalls, the lastest
Ancient Falls
The view is looking from the inside of a cave at the back of the falls.
S Ray - very nicely done, great rocks, sky, light and fog. The waterfall is very good as such but I think the sides are a bit even - though to criticize is easier than doing it better. Monochrome is a good choice.
S Ray, the alien night sky and terrain are excellent. The water is difficult to do. I did a waterfall once and never tried again. You are brave. I love the mono tone of this.
Yes I agree. I made a texture map of falling water in photoshop. Then used that in the terrain editor & cliped the edges. This made the texture map fit the terrain in Mat. lab. I started working on a new texture map in photoshop where the edges are not as strait and there are gaps where a rocky terrain can poke thru.
Thanks Adbc
SRay - another cool experiment with waterfalls, I gave up on those, I also like the monochrome tone.
Another terrain made from an HDRI (NeonWires from HDRI4Fun) that also makes the sky. The moons are spheres with the moon image by Dave Savage. The material an the terrain is from Fifty Funky Shapes & Fifty Funky Metals.
Horo, that terrain looks deadly, like shark's teeth or some other predator. It's also beautiful at the same time with the material and the lovely sky.
S Ray : the last waterfall experiment looks great.
Horo : awesome spiky terrain, beautiful sky.
Horo - another outstanding render, I love the reflections and the addition of the moons.
NGartplay, adbc and mermaid - thank you kindly.
More fun with a terrain made from an HDRI, which also makes the sky. A bit less metallic.
Horo - another beautiful render
Horo, your terrain work is stunning.
Horo : excellent terrain, sky : just beautiful.
Two renders with terrains made fromHDRI. Same terrain on both images, different material. Used the same HDRI sky but different colour.
mermaid and NGartplay - thank you.
adbc - thank you. Two great examples, the second is very dramatic: terrain, light and sky.
Wow Adbc awesome renders, I also like the mat and sky for the 2nd.
Another Landscape from the High-Resolution 4 set, after the rains
Oh, that came out beautiful, mermaid.
