    mermaid, NGartplay : thank you.

NGartplay : Cool scene, the clouds and atmosphere are great, the figure in the background adds some mystery to it.

  • HoroHoro Posts: 10,643

NGartplay - cool scene with with the giant and the haze gives a good feel of distance. If you use a cloud slab, you can always move it up and down and also make it thinner and thicker. More adjustments are possible in the Materials Lab.

NGartplay, Horo, adbc, mermaid010. Thanks for your nice comments.

Horo, great renders of the Voronoi objects.

Adbc, Weird, but very interesting work.

NGartplay, Love the Elemental figure scaling those mountains. Nice sky too.

    Hansmar - thank you.

  • Horo - Crazy/cool renderings of the Voronoi objects! (I didn't even recognize them)
adbc - Love the cave and robot, can't decide if he is lonely or deciding where next to explore.
NGartplay - Forboding mountain giant, I would be hiding in one of those trees!

  • Here I am using items from Horo & David Brinnen's "Fifty Funky Shapes and Fifty Funky Metals".
The object is "InterMobTorLoop2" with the "Anteroom_3840" HDRI.
Water is a tweaked version of David's mat "Derwent Water".

    Thanks evryone!

Horo - Triple stacked terrains, VERY cool. I haven't tried that technique in years.
I think its time to visit your site AGAIN, to re-learn more...again. Great work!

Mermaid010, I've never seen that set when searching for product to buy here.  Must be deactivated :(

Your underwater scene is eerily beautiful.  It actually gives me shivers because once when I was snorkelling we went out past where we were supposed to go and there was a shark glancing off of the protective net that enclosed the area.  I still get scared when I think about it.

Horo, wonderful terrain, as we expect from you, of course.

    Mermaid010. Very realistic underwater render.

NGartplay: you are mixing up mermaid010 and MelanieL again cheeky

  • mermaid010 - Wow, beautiful render!

Sorry mermaid, as Hansmar noted, I once again mixed you and MelanieL up.  It's the 'M', lol.

  • Not a finished piece, just messing around for fun.
I used a Filter Forge preset to output a 4k image that I used in Bryce as a Terrain.
Alien landscape? Or more likely, discarded chewing gum, lol.
