Thanks! :) I'm doing the Casual Poses for Stephanie 6.
@Novica - sorry I can't remember the character, though actually if that is V4 then I probablly dialled the face from Morphs++ - though obviously the skin texture came from some character or other. The butterflies I think were a freebie from ShareCG - I'll see if I can find them again.
@SereneNight - thanks :) I used to use dynamic clothing quite a bit on V4 but sort of tailed off when I started with Genesis then Gen2 - I must try again and the Khory showcase is my opportunity!
@Jindi - yes you're right about the background Moon Gate, but I looking again at the pink flowers I think it may just be DimensionTheory's Skies of Economy. I really love the Indian textures from Totally Bazaar too, though I also use the Arabic ones quite a lot.
RE: identification, the problem is I changed PC about two years ago and my new one (well, getting a bit older now) only has the scene files saved since then. I'll have to dig around and see if I have a backup with the older ones somewhere...
Casual Poses For Stephanie 6 (Khory)
Kita Hair For Genesis 2 Female(s) (DAZ3D / Goldtassel)

Hmmm, don't know who the Stephanie 6 character is because I didn't label her in the Scene tab. That's normally the first thing I do, and I only labeled the duf by the outfit (which I am not using.) So meet Gothic Stephanie- guess that heavy makeup is appropriate for Halloween. Boo! I don't want to change her because the lights are set up to work with that skin and I've got to get these done before the sale tomorrow. So let's start with some sitting poses.
All the poses are relaxed and natural-I like the hands a lot. Khory did really good finger placement. I don't have time to test on the basic G2F but since Stephanie is more petite, you may have to tweak slightly.
Done with the sitting (these aren't all of them though.)
And here's some of the standing poses. I like the way Khory provided easy "walking up the stairs" poses.
@Melanie - Oops, yes I muddled the names. Ecomantics is the one with the billboard style trees and grass in clever configurations, now I think of it. I have quite a few DimensionTheory products. Those Arabic textures are also great, and the green and gold sari one was a perfect choice for your character.
@Novica - Natural looking sitting and walking poses are always useful, and much harder to come by than sexy pin-up style poses. Good to know about these. Kita hair looks good on 'Gothic Stephanie' :)
Happy Halloween everyone :)
I'm going to look into some of Khory's other pose products that I have and see if I can do some for you (just this simplistic style, not in scenes.) The 50% off sale for Khory is supposed to be Sat/Sunday, so midnight tonight (DAZ time) it should kick in. So I'll try to get a few poses done from other sets. Also have to go out and blanket the horse, will be real feel in the thirties for 9 hours tonight and the horses here have their summer coats only. Pamper my baby! But it won't be cold enough until 10pm tonight to put it on, so I'll be disappearing for a bit a few hours from now.
Don't eat too much candy! (Im doing good, just had a bowl of sugar free jello. It's actually quite good!)
Survivor Poses For Michael 6 and Victoria 6 (Khory)
Diesel Outfit Genesis 2 Male(s) (Nikisatez)
Cargo Shorts And Tee For Genesis 2 Male(s) (DAZ3D / Sarsa / Bobbie25)

Interesting how DAZ now puts Daz Originals instead of DAZ3D for the vendor. But I'm using the abbreviated. These are the Survivor Poses and the pants are Diesel, top is the tee from Cargo. This is Taric's face and morphs on Michael 6.
You'll see as I keep adding them that there is a nice variety of poses that can be used for daily life too. There are reaching, carrying, running, etc.
Edit- too funny. He's Gothic too. (This is starting to get creepy...)
@Novica: Poor tortured M6. I like it! I have those poses but I have yet to... er... Torture M6 with them.
I also really like Gothic Stephanie Poses. Those look great!
LOL- Michael looks like he drank too much and it's making itself known in the third one.
I'm back from the barn (59 degrees but wind is 25mph and real feel is already in forties.) So will do more M6.
I sent you a PM regarding the Halloweekend sale.
Got it :)

Khory is now 50% off. I love this one- the pose where she has her leg up and she is examining her heel is quite different from anything I've seen. (2nd promo thumbnail) Don't know how this got past me because I have the other pose sets!

Also getting this- 27 new looks and I have those sandals already.

And of course this, thanks to the gorgeous render examples. I got the bundle so I will have the wallpaper too. Wow, a lot of colors!
http://www.daz3d.com/khory/design-tool-box-bundle
The folks out in The Commons or other forum sections won't know about Khory's sale as it's not advertised, so be sure and PM your friends and let them know. :)
Well, due to high wind, we lost power fifteen minutes ago. It's really cool though, I found a page showing the outages and exactly what time they are estimating it to be fixed. It happened at 4:45am and will be fixed around estimated 8:45am. We have a full house generator so we are purring along while unfortunately while they sleep, everyone else's homes are getting very cold. (Real feel already mid thirties, headed down to 28!) Winds 35mph and gusting higher, so a tree may have gone down on a line. Hope everyone else is faring better.
Wanted to point out the PC crazy deal (6) is again showing at $2.99. That's the same price we got the "oopsie" banner for. I have everything (it is the diner stuff) but will be interesting to see if the price goes up. That stuff has been around forever and most of us have it all (if we want it.)
Nice to see some more men's outfits.
Going to get some sleep. Happy shopping!
I noticed there is now a PA called DAZ Originals. That is different.
I am curious about the Sci-Fi vector shapes. Has anyone bought and used those? I hadn't yet, but I may buy today. I do love Ron's stuff, just never used that before.
Thanks for highlighting this gown. Thanks to Khory's generous 50% off sale and the DAZ 80% off V4/M4 sale, I got this dynamic gown for $1.30!
ETA: The sale robe I got is for M4, not V4

I've made a render with the Dynamic Nightwear for V4 http://www.daz3d.com/dynamic-nightwear-for-v4
hope you like it
http://www.daz3d.com/khory
caracter is Genesis
@barbult - wow that pricing worked out nicely!
@Sasje - lovely render, thanks for tempting me with that :)
I snagged the Design Tool Box (at last!) and am now pondering a few more dynamic clothes - thank you so much Khory for this sale. :-)
@Sasje - oh wow, that is impressive draping, and a lovely sheen to the nightwear too.
@Novica - the wallpaper in the bundle looks elegant. I only have floors right now (bought when I needed a good wooden floor) so I'm looking forward to seeing those walls in your renders!
Sasje-that's stunning! Khory's dynamic products are so fluid. :) It's beautifully lit and you can just feel the silky texture with the sheen.
For people who haven't looked at the Halloweekend sale, there are free products in there that will take you up to the required number to get 60% off. And thank you Barbult for pointing out the stacking item in both sales (I already got it a few days ago but others might not have it.)
I may get the V4 one too since it's half off as it would make good generic clothing for many cultures. With Fabricator / Totally Bazaar you can do so many ethnic clothing pieces.
@Sasje: Nice work on the robe/nightwear combo. Looks nice. Real people clothing looks so nice and drapes beautiful.
BTW, Ron's bundle price got fixed. If you got it earlier, you were paying too much. The bundle was more than the two items put together.
Ron has pulled an item before (don't know why) so I am not going to wait for a better sale. Anyone already get it?

More Expressions for Genesis 2 Females
Okay this is a product that is just plain awesome. It is more Expressions for Genesis 2 Females by Cake One.
Now initially, I was going to pass on this. I own a ton of expressions sets, so why do I need more? Well, the truth is, this set really just blows most expression sets out of the water. The expressions are just simply more vibrant, more extreme, and look better on your gen 2 female characters than any I've seen. Each expression is retooled from the original pack to really give the semblance of emotion at a stronger and more detailed level.
You can also dial a bit more of the expression in, or tone it down if for example you don't want your gen 2 female showing off so much of her teeth or looking quite so angry or afraid.
Now I simply want more expressions for men!
Great set. Well worth the investment. Check it out.

Figures used here are Gen x conversions of
LR Halena
http://www.daz3d.com/lr-s-halena-for-v4
Trish for V4

Both by J King
Hair on Halena is Toulouse hair and comes with the Genesis 2 Female Starter Pack
Hair on Trish is Elegance Hair, http://www.daz3d.com/elegance-hair and is a DAZ original
1. Here you can see the characters as default
2. Image using dialed expressions on default pose.
3. Expressions combined with new poses for a more dramatic look.
4. Expressions combined with poses
5. Yes, we're all happy now. =-)

Does anyone else get tired of the poor ReadMe references? Wasted SO much time trying to find Naida. Had to do a MANUAL download to get the ReadMe because the DIM ReadMe is useless. That's this one:
http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/read_me/index/12722/start
Good luck with that.
You have to get the file manually to get to the right ReadMe. Which has btw pages labeled 5,6,7, and 8, all of which are identical. I get it- once you find a ReadMe that tells you where to find Naiad, they wanted to repeat it for the sheer joy of it.
You'll find Naiad in the Poser Formats under Pose then LRP. Sure, that's intuitive. Can you tell I'm grumpy now?
Anyway, I'm going to render her tomorrow.
Those expressions do look nice. I don't have them but wish listed. I'm like you, so many pose sets. These expressions look more genuine than some of the others.
You are doing better than me if you can find the readme!
If you download the manual zip file, when you open it, you can see where the files are actually installed. This is helpful for files you absolutely cannot find.
For example:
Probes mechanical Mayhem
The installer shows the figure in the Figure directory, and the Mats in the Pose directory. If you expand further you can see the Figure is called Probes-1 and Probes 2
Note: Character folder should correspond with Figure folder in Poser Library view.
That was my next step actually- if the ReadMe didn't tell me point blank then I was going to check the files and see if I could figure it out. If I still couldn't find the sucker, I was going to manually install to see if my studio was just whacky. It's been doing bad things- won't load clothes onto V4, when parented, won't stick and move with the figure. It's just acting up badly. So I wondered if that was the problem with this one, but it was in Poser part and I couldn't find it. Thanks for the example :)
Right click on the product in the DIM and select show installed files to see where they are located on your computer. Sure beats the lousy readme method, in my experience.
Sounds like a plan :)
Particularly since the DIM ReadMe on that one isn't the right one. No details.
Playing around with Charly Hair on Naiad. (That was Poser section>Daz>Figures>Swam if anyone tries to find it, with the colors in Poser section>Daz>Pose>Swam>Mat Charly.) It's 5:15am and I am tired so will try to find the morphs for it tomorrow. Just doing a default out of the box for later today. Off to snooze!
Those characters are adorable, Serene! The expressions caught my eye right away in the store. They seem to add a lot more personality compared with the standard expressions. It's products like these that make me wish I could afford to invest more in Genesis 2.
Charly Hair (SWAM)
Naiad (J.King)
http://www.daz3d.com/charly-hair
http://www.daz3d.com/naiad
I certainly won't be doing this on a recurring character in my book- it was two hours for an 817 pixel render, no clothes, fairly simple lights. Pretty hair though. Be sure and look under the hair-->NECK to move the parts of the hair and find the morphs. This is out of the box, no tweaks. You can choose the tie colors and there's a nice selection of the basics like yellow, black, blue, etc.
Of course I love Naiad with the fuller eyebrows. Since SereneNight has discovered the joy of J.King characters, I'm showcasing a few of those.
Don't forget that Khory's sale goes on through today only!
BTW, it's colder here in Pensacola than up in Connecticut! It's 38 degrees and up there it's 40, but our real feel is 37 and theirs is 24. There's frost on my black truck and it looks pretty.
Click to enlarge. Look at the wispy tendrils at the back of the neck. Nice touch!
Can I ask where are the uniforms from?
