Certainly had fun shopping. Interesting new releases seems to have old releases and new bundles?
Based on your comparison renders, I went ahead and bought Mayuree, even though I did not buy Mei Lin. I think Mayuree works great on G2F Base. I'm happy with her. My only criticism would be that she is yet another character with perfectly smooth and blemish free skin. I prefer more texture and non-uniformity in the skin. But I knew what I was getting from the promo pics, so I can't really complain. :) I posted a render in my Gallery. Thanks again for posting the comparison and the reminder about it not needing Mei Lin UV for the skin.
Edited to add: I also used the LNA Mallorca Dress in that picture. I wanted to support a vendor making "real" clothes, not skimpwear.
Beautiful- love the hair sheen, the polka dot theme being carried through with the round bracelet and the circle in the middle of the necklace. Like I said in the gallery comments, its the intuition of a professional fashion designer! Glad the renders helped you. :)
Giving everyone a heads up- I'm rendering Khory all week but won't be posting until next Friday- but I want to tell you about a V4 top that you HAVE to get if you like a choice of material zones- totally surprised me!
http://www.daz3d.com/shadow-dancer-for-v4
If you look at the first thumbnail, it will show you the tank top, the just-at-the-top short sleeve, the 3/4 sleeve, and the full sleeve. Well, you have ALL those material zones in the long sleeve shirt, and can make duo-trio zoned shirts. It's fun- and also with the Fabricator, you can do more prints- even tropical! (Use Totally Bazaar too.)
Next Friday, you will see that paired with the Dynamic Circle Skirt, and it is simply adorable. Khory has included shaders with the Circle Skirt so you can match any top with the skirts, and I'm using the different material zones.
So wishlist it, keep an eye out for it in the M4/V4 sales.
There's also

Hmmm..... Shadow Dancer for V4 doesn't show Khory as the vendor.
Right- the Dynamic Circle Skirt is Khory. It doesn't come with a shirt, so you need to use another one :)
"....but I want to tell you about a V4 top..." wasn't clear. Sorry 'bout that!
I explained it with "Next Friday, you will see that paired with the Dynamic Circle Skirt" but I should have explained Khory's item was the skirt.
My bad!
Because I have quite a few of the Khory products, and in case they go on sale (Khory requested it- but it's not a guarantee) you'll be able to see the renders. GOING TO START POSTING KHORY NOW.
So enjoy the Khory renders (and IGCs who have Khory, please PM me and let me know what you are doing. Jindi, I already have yours.) Other folks who Khory products may also post renders which clearly show the details. I am currently doing the chess set/poses.

The black top and green skirt is the Shadow Dancer shirt without any changes.
The champagne top with the champagne and black striped skirt is the wonderful shader by Khory- used on the shirt! She made sure you can match tops with the exact colors of the skirt. WAY COOL! Changed the body type/weight up a little bit so you can see how the shirt/skirt band can be easily adjusted.
And here's the different material zones. What fun! Using Khory's shaders. They are the velvets which match the velvet skirt.
Check out this thread in the Commons- we'd love to have the folks who surf the thread (Other than the ICG's) post their renders of the featured PA too! (Want to keep this thread just the ICG's so it maintains a particular style and my work doesn't get buried.) Any PA's reading this, or that thread, feel free to PM me if you'd like to do the Vendor Chat. The 14th of November is the next Friday available.
THREAD GOT MOVED TO ART STUDIO BY MODERATORS.
Okay, coming up are the chess props/ chess poses. These will take a day or so I think. Other Invited Guest Contributors with Khory products feel free to post if you have anything done :)
Other business- note the Fast Grab changed today- seems like they are back "in the groove" with changing it out.
Remember- to find the Platinum Club sale sections, click on that banner. The easiest way to find it is from the New Releases page. A couple people missed the sale last night because they couldn't find the M4/V4 page. (And about the time you figure this site out, we'll head into a new site soon....)
If you can't ever find a section, feel free to ask. Our regular surfers always know what's going on and where to find it (they help me a lot!)

I'm quite fond of Miss Olympia and her lovely figure. This set includes 14 poses to make Miss Olympia and her friends look nice. They are easy to use and setup and compliment Olympia's curvy figure.
You can add expressions to the sets, as I did in one of the renders however none are included.
Right now this set is presently on sale. =-)
Thanks for posting Khory's Simply Olympia Poses- there's a good variety! I like your lighting on the legs too.
Kendra is in the M4/V4 group that is on sale and that skin has a nice warm hue. Thanks for using her. And the Vampire Huntress- that was the hair band- looks good with the romper.

Today's Review:
Sedition Soldier for V4
http://www.daz3d.com/sedition-soldier-for-v4
Mighty_Mestophacles and Midnight_Stories
This set is on sale as part of the V4/M4 sale, and I don't think the promo art does it justice. The sets is for V4, and looks quite nice. You have two weapons, two different chest pieces, many colors, different 'glow styles' and poses.
I ran into a couple of challenges with the set, but this doesn't stop me from enjoying it. The first challenge I ran into is finding the textures that match each bodypart as the product view jumbles them altogether. I re-organized the content by separating out the pieces and then going into Pose folder and taking the mats and the poses so that I could apply the textures correctly. It is a bit of work, but, worth it, as it saves you time. The textures all have the same image, so if you use what is in product view you can't really tell whether it is a helmet texture or a boot texture. The second tip I found is sometimes the textures would get 'stuck' and I would have to apply by choosing something radically different then reapplying the texture I wanted. This fixed the problem 100% of the time.
The final image is the outfit autofit to V6. It works almost, but there is some crunchiness in the shoulder pieces and the boots that might not work for some people.
Great set. Renders well!

I'm calling this review 'Floors don't have to be boring!' :)
Any indoor scene is going to have floors, right? And sometimes you just want to make a quick room out of planes, or the floor on the room you are using isn't quite what you had in mind.
Khory's Design Tool Box Flooring lets you decide on just the right look. This product has so many different options, so I decided to just take one from each of the 4 main categories: natural stone, wood, marble, and carpet.
The carpet especially is a lot of fun with different patterns and loads of colour choices. The other options are classy with the marble and wood having a luxurious high-sheen finish that you can tone down if you want (but I wanted to show off the reflections here).
I like the way Khory has included utilities so you can change the shine or pattern size at a click. It's always a bonus when vendors do this and shows that they care about ease-of-use for customers.
It's surprising how much a different floor and wall can change the look of a render, isn't it? Other than small changes to the pose, the only thing that changed here was the shaders. No postwork done on these.
As you can see, you could easily create a different look for every room of the house, from a stone-floored kitchen to the warm carpets of a bedroom. (With Dream Home products in the 99 cent sale right now, this would be fun to try).
Wow, that is on V6? It looks really, really good. I bought the product but of course haven't rendered it yet. That sounds like a real pain to have all the thumbnail textures the same- that doesn't make sense so far as being consumer friendly. I can see why you'd want to sort it!
I like the vertical striped option for the chest, the other makes the breasts too prominent for my tastes. Like, "Here's my bust!" (I know, it's a tactic to get the enemy distracted, and would certainly work...) I really like the green because it's so different than the traditional silver or chrome. Very nice!
Oh my, they certainly aren't! These are AMAZING. I am so glad you didn't turn down the sheen, that glossy glow on the floor makes me want to put on socks and scoot across! (C'mon, everyone admit that when you were kids, you used to test out the waxed floor like a surfer- and scuffle your feet on carpeted floors in the winter to create a shock, then go up behind a sibling and ZAP! them with a shock.)
The floors really do create totally different moods. I'll definitely have to play with these, they are totally awesome. Thanks so much for sharing your Khory product!
You're welcome, Novica. I don't need much of an excuse to play with shaders!
I enjoyed seeing the Dynamic Circle Skirt (and the Olympia poses by Serene -- lovely light outlining the figures). I do have one question about the dynamic products, which Khory has quite a few of... can these be used the same as any other clothing? What's involved? I always thought they were for animation and so haven't tried any of them. I wonder now if I've been missing out.
You've been missing out :) Think of them as having a nice flow. But I was with you- I wasn't sure and I hadn't rendered them until I decided to do Khory. Glad I did! I haven't done any sitting poses but you can see that in the promos, so just think of it as having nice options for movement. I'll go in to the Circle Skirt scene in Studio and explore a bit in the Scene tab and Parameters and get back to you in a few.
@Jindi - I love those renders of the Design Toolbox shader presets - I've had that set in and out of my wishlist many times (I have "too many" shaders!) but now they'll have to go back in!
Okay, in Scene you have the skirt, then Skirt Rig sub menued under that. It then breaks down to some of the body parts such as thighs and it's neat because you can do all the translates and rotates. So if your character is sitting down, just rotate that sucker forward. With the X translate, you can of course swing the dress to either side like wind blowing, or if you are holding your dress out (think curtsy)
You basically have abdomen, thighs and shins. It's fun :)
I'm also trying to remember if we've ever showcased Reinoa Hair. I like that. And the girl was so cute with the globe- like, "Aha, gotcha!"

On the subject of Khory's product line, here's the full version of my Forum Avatar pic. This is one I did quite a long time ago (two years almost exactly) for a birthday card for a friend. Because it was done so long ago I can't remember all the details of the character and props used, but the dress is definitely Khory's.
It's the Angelic Dynamic Gown for V4, but as I'm a keen re-texturer it's been re-done using one of the Indian Sari fabrics from Totally Bazaar 2 by Marieah/Teresa Tyllo.
I hope to do some new renders using this and/or Khory's Maiden Fair Dynamic Gown before next Friday's Khory session.
Fancy A Game Of Chess (Khory / Doctor Jellybean / Wee Dangerous John)
Your Move Poses For Victoria 6 and Michael 6 (Khory)
http://www.daz3d.com/khory/fancy-a-game-of-chess
http://www.daz3d.com/your-move-poses-for-victoria-6-and-michael-6
Here's a really, really cool feature- you get championship moves!
"If you can't think of any moves, there are 81 presets. They are from a 1972 World Chess Championship game between Bobby Fischer and Boris Spassky."
I'm exploring the different poses and will continue posting those.
The props are nice- the trophies have nice details and the two books are a nice touch.
One thing to mention- the chess board fits nicely over the chess board that is embedded into that maple colored table. The one in front of Nidale (the darker skinned woman) is actually on TOP of the one in front of her so I could use the presets. I went with move 09, and haven't a clue about chess lol!
The chair, trophies, little clock, pictures, contents on the table, and both tables are all included. The one along the wall is not. That is from Explorer's Den.
Not going to showcase the ladies and the clothes, we've mentioned them several times. (It's Nidale and Neve.)
Okay, for the scene--- Neve is trying to teach her friend Nidale how to play chess, so she set up a duplicate board to show her the moves. Obviously, Nidale is stumped. So the name of this render is...
CHESS STRESS!
(click to enlarge/ click again. Because it's so large, it will show darker as it's shrunk down.)
And I really like the chess box. It comes with the lid up, lid up and empty. Nice detail on the lid.
On the Grandmaster's Chess book, you might have to really light it a bit as the cover went a tad dark. Haven't put it in a render. The other book shows up a bit better in a big scene (it was on the table.)
Oooh, I like the full version- the background is too nice to be hidden. How time flies, eh? Two years ago? Those butterflies are cute. Do you remember what character you used? I've always liked her.
And love to have some more renders. :)
I'm going to do the Glass Gambit Chess Set next, and Dynamic Nightwear V4. (But if any other ICGs have them, feel free!)
@Jindi: Those are beautiful renders. I love the floor and the expressions on the girl! Well done!
@Novica: I concur, the vertical striped chest plate is favorite. The coconut bikini top second style was not my favorite, but wanted to show it, because it was an included option.
V6 wears the armor okay, except for the shoulder pieces which got deformed and looked strange in certain poses and the crinkly feet.
@MelanieL: thanks for showing that Dynamic Angelic dress. Those folds in the neckline look real.
@Novica: That chess set seems to have a lot of options. The dogs playing chess are adorable!
Khory just let me know DAZ responded to her request to put her store on sale for 50% off this weekend. (Excludes new releases.) I will try to render a few of the poses (doing the Stephanie 6 ones) as they are quite nice, love the sitting ones- but I'm going to go get some sleep right now (6am.) So I'll try to do some this afternoon. So if you're seeing anything you like, snag it for 50% off :)
Thanks for the comments, I'm catching up today as I was being pulled away from the computer last night.
Sedition Soldier caught my eye when I was posting though... wow, not something that I'd normally consider but those textures make it something special. I'm with you both on the stripes being the better chest option!
I'm a fan of AprilYSH and like using Reinoa hair for toons or stylized figures (it was an Aiko 5 releated launch) but it works for teens too. It's the same one that my avatar girl is wearing.
Speaking of avatar pictures, it was lovely to see the whole scene behind your one, Melanie. Khory's Angelic gown re-textures nicely (I think the sari textures are probably my favourites of any Marieah ones). I think that's Jack's Moon Gate and DimensionTheory's Ecomantics you have in the background.
Chess Stress made me smile! It looks a fun set and I especially like the themed pics on the wall. Got to feel for Nidale though. Oh and thanks for the information on the Dynamic clothing, Novica. Many a time I've wanted to get something but been put off because I wasn't sure I'd be able to use it.
I am working on the Dynamic Night Wear for V4 :-)
