    @Dave - great scene with the brontosaurus. Beach scene with the stairs is also very nicely done.

    @Jay - he he, cool render. :lol:

    Just wondered, is it me or is bryce5.com down at the minute?
    Can't get to it.

    @Chohole.

    I get to the Home page but when clicking on the Gallery link all I get it this.
    "An unexpected error occured. Please try again later."

    That's with Firefox.

    @Tim Bateman.
    Nice car Tim, a little dark maybe.

    Thanks Tim Bateman, Fishtales. Guss and Horo for your comments.

    Dave- very nice scene especially the brontosaurus render

    Jay – that just one cool “glowing” render. 

    Tim Bateman – lovely car render.

    My take on David’s Tutorial Make an M C Escher-esque space

    The 1st render uses the GWL and the second Panorama there was not much of a difference in the render times.

    @Stuart & Pam - yes, it went down yesterday already. I'll send Mark (the owner) an email. EDIT: Done. It will take a moment yet, the site is in Chicago.

    @Tim - you're stepping in Stuart's territory :lol: beautifully done.

    @mermaid010 - nice result.

    It must be me. Now I have a problem getting to my gallery here.
    Firefox won't access it at all.
    Internet Explorer will let me upload a picture, but when I go to the edit button on the thumbnail image I just get
    this with the semi-circle spinning round and round. 10 minutes now.

    @Stuart - yes, get that too. I've already complained in the PA forum about the beta site. At least you can delete the image, which I did. Most important is the text that it was made in Bryce. If I can't add that most important detail, they must do without the image.

    It is me, somehow something was blocking it.
    A popup appeared saying some of the content was blocked but
    gave me the option to unblock it, now it's fine again.

    Thanks Horo.

    Edit. It's not fine, it's done it again.
    :(

    Haven't seen such. Got to try.

    EDIT - doesn't work for me.

    Thank you Stuart. No such pop-up for me. I'm on Firefox. EDIT - neither works with Chrome.

    @Horo.
    I use Ghostery (Firefox Add On) to block websites from tracking me everywhere I go.
    It's really good and gives me a list of all the trackers it blocks.

    This image is a screenshot of all the ones that Daz uses to track us.
    There may be more.

    Edit: There are more. Refreshing the page added another one to the list.

    @Horo.
    Some sites are really bad. This is from TOYS 'R' US.
    I went to one site (can't remember which one) but Ghostery found and blocked 24 different trackers.

    This is the last one I'll post, I seem to be hijacking the thread.

    @Stuart - thanks. We'll see how DAZ act once they're in the office. I think the trackers are meant to bring traffic to the DAZ sites.

    Mark from bryce5.com brought the site up but can't log-in. He'll look at it in the evening when he's got more time.

    I haven't been able to get into my Gallery since the 'new' site went active. I sent in report using the 'Problem' button that was on the bottom right of the screen. I use Opera.

    Great renders Dave, I see your love of puns has not abated.

    Here I'm testing a new HDRI by Horo using materials derived from my last two tutorials.

    Bryce Gold material setup - by David Brinnen

    Bryce advanced gemstone effect using phased hypertextures - by David Brinnen

    for the first image at least.

    The second image uses something from our second metals set. http://www.daz3d.com/bryce-7-pro-50-metals-the-heating-room-set

    Edit I meant to add that the source file was loaded from one of my early Bryce 5 scenes. http://www.bryce5.com/details.php?image_id=53&mode=search&sessionid=0076049b4e13c4253db297a0a8b0c7a4

    @mermaid: Like your results from David's tutorial.

    @Tim Bateman: Nice looking car. Lighting is a bit dark to me, but otherwise, nice.

    @Dave: It was good I had my feet off the floor when I saw your clock image, which by the way is super. :cheese:

    @David: Great looking image.

    Some really great work being posted. Kinda ashamed to throw this stuff in the mix. Been experimenting with David and Horo's Sylised Rendering product (http://www.daz3d.com/bryce-7-1-pro-stylised-rendering) and it's awesome! Of course, David and Horo put together great stuff and I'm certainly glad they make it available because even with all the videos, I don't think I'll ever be able to fully-utilize the methods they've come up with. So, without further adieu, here's my first menial attempts. Still trying to get my head around things so go gentle. ;)

    The first two remind me of pictures drawn on black construction paper.

    Great renders Dave, I see your love of puns has not abated.

    I once entered a pun writing competition and I wrote 10 original puns.
    I was sure one of them would win a prize but - no pun in ten did

    ;-)
