Another Figure in a Wicker Chair
Just a few environmental renders
Encounter
Attempted Escape
Just a recent Hexagon model and a sample render. Maybe someone will recognize the table from somewhere...
3D Model freely available here.

Not exactly the right color rug below, but I have to do a bit of drawing work to come up with a more subdued rug texture.
A mockup of the carpet using some low-rez screen caps. Need to spend some time cleaning up that image map. The rug also needs a fringe.
Here is a retro future bucket chair done in Hexagon. Also going to upload that shortly on sharecg as well.

A mesh screen model for casting light or using as a divider.

A little better on the rug, Still, no fringe yet.
A couble of extras that I are in the works:
A door (which needs a frame)
And a door knob/faceplate
Working on this. I used some free textures, but I can't re-distribute them on Sharecg.com so I will have to spend a little time cobbling together a flat texture map. Plus, for looks I think it will be good to add two hinges on the side of the door.
Wonder if I should go all out and individualize the wood panels in my door model instead of using a single map for it. The door would probably look sharper that way.
I think the hinges look good, but it isn't worth the effort individuating the boards on the door. From the distance I see rendering it, the benefit wont be worth the cost.
Working on an overall room for my setting.
Redesigned and tweaked the room a bit to get the doors just right. now I have to put some trim on the edge of the color change on the wall. Also, want to make that brown a bit more subtle on the image map.
I think now the orange chair needs a bit of a version 2 redesign.
Update:
Looking better. I need to go mind the gaps between the new trim boards and adjust the doors. They need moving, a little but also need a little smut and grit around the surfaces where hands would touch for a little realism.
Maybe in the next shot I will render a shot of the round front door in place.
One might also notice a subtle difference that gave the room a little more space. Behind the arch, I put a bend in the wall and kicked it back about a foot and a half. That sets the near door back a tad bit, but just enough. The room is developing a sense of space.
Update 2:
The flam-damned front door doesn't fit. I have to tweak it a bit and also, the right wall needs the trim up top. But... it's coming along.
Spent a little time redesigning the modern chair. It is a little closer to what I want. Having an issue with Hexagon however and smoothing. If I smooth, it has the unintended effect of also thinning or bringing the surfaces tighter in and reducing the thickness of the chair surface. I am trying to figure how to overcome this.
Here is a rough draft layout of a plant stand that I am working on. Just wanted to see how it would work in the scene. It will have more ornate details when it is finished.
I try not to comment on people's Art Studio threads very often, for fear of messing up their "flow", but I just wanted to let you know that I find your work amazing! Your creativity is inspiring!
Also, I think I've downloaded just about everything you've made available, so thank you so much for sharing some of your work with us!
@Faeofthe3rdDimension I really am grateful for your comment. It is very motivating and makes me want to create more good props and things to share.
Here is a detail of the plant stand. I really want to focus as I complete it on reducing the geometry to the minimum necessary as there will be much detail.
To anyone working hard creating things in 3d or on computers in general, I would say get up every once in a while and move your legs, stretch and get some fresh air every 20 minutes or so. It is good to take care of yourself and keep moving. Sometimes I sit in one place too long, especially in this pandemic being at home.
Best everyone...
^__^
Will get back to posting prop updates tomorrow for the environment.
Just had to take a diversion and make a staircase and pose a figure on it.
There is just too much going on procedurally with the conncrete textures.
I need to come up with some better flat non-repetetive textures
A slight improvement on the textures
The last week and the US elections were a bit of distraction. But... here is a set of renders of a model I recently purchased.
A test render using a panorama picture. I think I need to play around in Photoshop and make a sort of simulated HDR to get the gama right.

A little work done in Hexagon today. The windows are just a single image. I think it would be fun to take a standard window and render a buch of different scenes with different curtains, a cat in th window. some flowers, etc. Then I can vary it up a bit.
Here is a test render using:
Another random test render of some assets.
Dont hide your talents
I took a Thanksgiving vacation and got home and very soon after literally got run over by a bus. I am basically learning to walk correctly, and dealing with injuries from a fractured pelvis. I have been yearning to get back to creating. It feels like time again.
Just a little architectural setup of an apartment living room similar to my own. Kit-bashed a bunch of odds-and-ends.
A few random renders from my AWOL period.
Some various costume test poses
A few spooky and cool renders of the Albert Mansion set
I would say the set was definitely worth the purchase.
Here I took out the mansion and added some people in the middle of the grassy environment.
Acrobats
Bashing together a few retro prop sets
Utopia Living Room
Bought this because between it and a few other apartment settings, I wanted a few enviroonments to try out placement and feel of some art work on the walls.
Here is another similar environment with two very different lighting setups and therefore different moods
I used some props in Daz Studio as reference for a digital drawing that I was working on.
an interesting abandoned building found on a different site that I turned into a sort ot homeless crash pad. Who knows why...
